B-Dry Systems of Southern New York, Inc.

My husband and I were introduced to B-DRY SYSTEMS OF SOUTHERN NY, in 2011. Whenever it rained our basement would get puddles, as the basement is partially below ground level. We were told by an acquaintance, that B-DRY had installed their system in a local firehouse, where flooding was problematic. We called B-DRY and a representative came to our home. He inspected our basement and exterior and went on to explain exactly how their system would be installed in our basement and the equipment that would accompany it. An estimate was given and and soon afterwards, the work and installation began. The workmen were polite and knowledgeable and at the end of completion each day, they left our basement and driveway tidy. Twelve years late, now 2023, our basement system is still operating well. With the most recent rainstorm dumping approximately 7.5” of rain in our area, the system continued to function even after one pump stopped working. The secondary pump (system is set up with two pumps) picked up immediately, without residual problems. We called the company and the same day a technician came and replaced the one pump, checking to make sure that everything was operating well. We cannot offer any complaints. Management stands behind their product! Realize, that the cost we paid in 2011, would not reflect what the same basement system would cost today!!

All work was done as per job estimate. The work was actually completed a day earlier than expected. The crew was very punctual and neat. Not a bit of dust made its way into my house. Would recommend highly.

Dealing with B-Dry was great. From the consultation, to the office answering my questions, to the punctual professional team working in my basement. They kept me informed about the work being done, performed the work quickly, and cleaned up after the job. While on the pricier side of a home improvement, I have not had any issues with water in the basement for the past few months, and to far the system is holding up very well to the Spring thaw and April rain.

The house was completely dry of any water for the years that I owned it. We were able to build a nice bedroom downstairs.

It went beautifully, they gave us an estimate, then came and installed the system around the exterior walls of the house with a sump pump for drainage. We have been happy since 1986 with no complaints or issues. They insulated all walls & sealed 1 ft high with B-dry Rigid sealer. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone with a basement or lower level water issue. The installers were professionals and the work was completed in the estimated time.

It went as presented in initial meeting. We were kept up to date as the work progressed.

Could not be more pleased with the B-Dry system and the work they did. The crew was punctual, professional, neat, pleasant, and also explained what would be happening at various stages of the job. The basement area was gutted by our own contractor, and then B-Dry did its work. We are on a hill so gravity does it job (no sump pump required). Even the work to dig the narrow trench for the drain pipe was carefully done, filled in and reseeded. No delays. No surprises. We had the basement renovated and it is now a comfortable, dry wonderful living space. The system seems to be working as promised and we could not be happier with the outcome. Our representative, in the Hudson NY area was Bill Hennekins. We recommend the H B-Dry system without qualification.

The men were courteous ,they worked efficiently and claened everything up when they were done .

Jim Hennekens was the B-Dry representative for my contract and did absolutely amazing work with his crew. Jim is by far the most professional and diligent contractor I have ever hired. As an active duty military officer, and I was extremely impressed with how efficient and organized B-Dry performs its work. The price of the contract was very reasonable and was worth every dollar! I will only hire and recommend B-Dry to my friends and family.

It went great. We haven't seen any water since it was installed. The work took longer than expected b/c the basement floor was so tough to hammer through but they stuck to the agreed price so it didn't cost us any extra for all the extra hard work which was a relief for us.

I would like to share with you my intial and ongoing experience with B-Dry Systems of Southern NY. B-Dry Systems of Southern NY is a first class company through and through because they provide their customers; HONESTY, QUALITY, RELIABILITY and PEACE OF MIND. My experience with them began in 2010, when I discovered water issues in my basement. Bill Hennekens came and inspected my basement, confirmed my problem and then took the time to sit with me to explain my issue, why I had it, and what the proper solution was. Bill recommended that I have just half of my basement waterproofed since he felt this would solve my problem. This is why Bill and his team are first class. They are completely honest, upfront and would never sell you something you didn?t need. In fact, you either need their system or you don?t. If your not sure, Bill will be. If you even suspect that you may have an issue, you NEED to call Bill, you wont be disappointed. After all, your home is one of your most important investments. Just last week, my system required a routine service. I called the office at 2pm and by 4pm the same day, they had a crew out there and completing my service. They knew it was important my service be addressed the same day and they made every effort to make sure I was accommodated. This level of service simply does not happen with many other service companies. THANK YOU B-DRY and Bill for being a company I can count on!

SHORTLY AFTER MOVING INTO OUR HOME WE NOTICED SOME CRACKS IN THE FOUNDATION WALLS AND THE FLOOR. WE HAD A NUMBER OF OTHER SALES PEOPLE COME OUT AND EACH TRIED TO SELL US VARIOUS EXPENSIVE JOBS UP TO ABOUT $19,000 FOR A FRENCH DRAIN TYPE SYSTEM THAT THEY SAID WE WOULD EVENTUALLY NEED EVEN THOUGH WE NEVER HAD ANY WATER IN THE BASEMENT. WE WERE TOLD BY ONE COMPANY REP THAT OUR HOUSE WAS SINKING AND THAT WE HAD HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE AND NEEDED EXPENSIVE PIERS SUNK INTO THE GROUND. WE HIRED A STRUCTURAL ENGINEER AND HE SUGGESTED WE CALL B-DRY SYSTEMS WHICH WE DID. BILL HENNEKENS CAME TO OUR HOME. HIS HONESTY, PROFESSIONALISM AND KNOWLEDGE WAS REFRESHING. HE EXAMINED OUT FOUNDATION AND SAID WE NEEDED NO WATER SYSTEM AT ALL. HE SAID THE CRACKS WE SAW WERE DUE TO SETTLING AND DRYING OF THE CONCRETE. HE ALSO SUGGESTED WE HAVE SOME GRADING DONE TO PROPERLY DIVERT WATER AWAY FROM THE HOUSE AND ROUTING THE WATER FROM OUR ROOF DOWNSPOUTS AWAY FROM THE FOUNDATION TO PREVENT ANY FUTURE PROBLEMS. THERE WAS NO RIDICULOUS SALES PITCH, JUST KNOWLEDGE AND HONESTY. HERE WE ARE 4 YEARS LATER AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH TO LET YOU KNOW HOW RELIEVED WE WERE TO FIND OUT OUR BASEMENT AND FOUNDATION WAS FINE. BILL AND B-DRY SYSTEMS OF SOUTHERN NEW YORK HAVE EARNED OUR TRUST.

WELL!!! Everytime we have a hard rain, I thank heavens for this company. They have saved us from all the bailing and back breaking work of hauling water buckets to the outside. The frustration experienced before our BDry installation was all-consuming! I tell everyone about this fine company. You can count on their professionalism and expertise!

The work went quite quickly and B-Dry coordinated the whole project returning the basement to its former condition. We have noticed significantly less water in the basement since this work. In very heavy rainfalls, water seeps up in a small puddle through the center of the southwest corner cement floor, but this is due to the porous nature of the floor. The B-dry system cannot correct this minor inconvenience. We have a dehumidifier which helps to keep the basement dry and this takes care of the seepage problem.

Where once there was the horrible smell of mold, there is now a fresh air smell to the room he did. We call it "The B-DRY Room" I am asking him to return. THere are issues only he can deal with We praise Bill Hennekens and B-Dry! DF LTF October 27, 2013

Bill from B Dry of Southern New York was fantastic. He spent time with me, thoroughly evaluated my water issues, and then gave me the happy news that it was my plumbing. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed talking to him and learning the educational components that contribute to a dry basement.. He enjoys his work and did not charge me for his comprehensive evaluation. I have two other friends who have used B Dry and are also happy with the services and results of a dry basement.
