Chuck Sweed from Above Grade Home Inspections was great.He showed up early,had a great professional atittude,and taught me alot about the house I was purchasing.

This is the first home inspection we've ever been a part of and it was for a very old house (1910). We had read great reviews about Chuck on Angie's List and decided to give him a call. He arranged his schedule so he could see us VERY early and even gave the name and number of a client he just did an inspection for - she was very enthusiastic about his thoroughness. Chuck was at the property early and was busily checking the outside when we arrived. He walked us through the whole inspection, answered many questions and was very helpful in showing and explaining everything that was good/bad about certain parts of the place. We received the report within 72 hours of the inspection and it was very detailed. The radon testing wasn't done (reflected in the price), as he told us at the end of the inspection it probably would be a better idea to do it another day when the results would be more accurate (we had a lot of open doors happening). All in all, the inspection took a little over 2 hours and we left knowing a lot more about the property we were considering.

Appointment was made to fit our schedule, very flexible. Chuck was a blast. Explained as he went around the property about what he was looking for and things we should know about the house. Inspection report was detailed with photos. Overall a very positive experience!! Thanks Chuck!!

We chose not to buy the first property but when we needed another home inspection there was no one else we would have trusted to call. Thankfully Chuck was available and did a wonderful job for us yet again. He has state of the art equipment and I had the report on my blackberry before we even left the property. Very professional - everything went as I expected no problems

Very quickly responded to our inquiry, was efficient in scheduling our appointment and very crisp on how much he would charge us. At the inspection, Chuck arrived early and scoped out the house. Unlike many who have been doing this job for many years, he remains very curious and enthusiastic, welcomes questions and showed patience and diligence throughout the entire process. He spent several hours going through the house in detail and even looked at a couple of things that weren't a part of the inspection. He's a no brainer to use again and recommend.

Chuck was thorough, helpful, and responsive. The testing and inspection equipment is state of the art. The thermal imaging camera was awesome.

The quality of information and professionalism exhibited by Chuck was so far beyond expectation. We were able to arrange for an inspection within 2 days of our accepted offer. Chuck was waiting for us at the property when we arrived at the appointment. He comes with a full array of tools to get the best information possible during the inspection. He took the time to show us what he was seeing and explain how that translated into what we could reasonable expect. We received our written report within 24 hours after the inspection was finished. The report was a detailed, 20+ page document with pictures and thermal imaging and covered everything we needed and more. The radon report came separately as that test takes additional time. I could not be more satisfied then I am with Above Grade.

Chuck showed up same day of phone call for estimate, he took about 45 mins to review our basement and home, and listened to our concerns. He showed up to install the system 2 days later (exactly when he said he would). Chuck is very knowledgeable, courteous, professional and cleaned up after himself. We are very pleased with our radon mitigation system.
