We hired R. DeGroodt II to widen and resurface our driveway. Al was very communicative from the estimate date thru the install day. The crew showed up on time. After ironing out a few details with Ronnie and Al, the crew got right to work. The job was complete in a timely manner. We are very happy with outcome.

My neighbor and I used this company in the past with no issues. We hired them again Fall 2024 to resurface. This was done by text, and we had no reason to doubt them. Stupidly, we both paid in advance because of the past history with them. They stopped communicating and we have been taken to the cleaners. I am filing a report with the district attorney's office in Poughkeepsie, and will take them to civil court if necessary. Geane M

Had my driveway done in October 2023. Started to notice cracking in February. Reached out to Chris via text MANY times and was promised they would come take a look and fix the problem after April 15th, when the asphalt is available again. He then stopped replying altogether. I put in a complaint to the BBB and when they responded, they said this is the first they are hearing about this. When I uploaded pictures of my text messages, they said Chris no longer works for them and had not since November 2023, yet he was the one replying to my texts initially. I then called the company and spoke to them directly and was told they would come out and that they stand behind their work. We agreed on May 31st. I waited around all day and they no showed. I have called and left messages several times after, with no response. My driveway has completely broken apart in the center, and I have holes in various other parts of the driveway.

Fantastic experience from estimate to completion of project. They were quick to respond and did the job promptly and perfectly. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

DO NOT TRUST CHRIS with a deposit. I worked with him and his company on my driveway. They did a solid job, very responsive and communicative and did the job very quickly. Since my first experience with them was good, I hired them for another job and left an $1800 deposit. I have been chasing him since October of 2021 to either do the work or give me my money back. Excuse after excuse on the money, his health, lack of availability. Yet I see recent reviews here on work he did as soon as 2 weeks ago. After 7-8 months of chasing, I am deciding to leave reviews to save you all from the potential of having your money and time held hostage.

Did an Excellent job. Was very persistent in getting the project once they did the estimate. The company is very professional. Both Chris and Ronnie treated us with utmost professionalism. It has only been 4 days so I will update this after the winter passes.

Showed up when he said he would. Very professional. Explained what he was doing and why. Showed up on the appointed day and time with a highly professional work crew and cleaned up properly. He was most concerned about drainage which was high on our list of concerns as well. Highly recommend him.
