t went well as usual...I am so very satisfied with Ron. He is so personable and easy to talk with, explains everything, very effecient and his work is excellent. He is by far the BEST computer expert I have ever dealt with. I recommend him very highly. You won't be unhappy with his work AAAAAAA++++++++

I recommend these guys so highly. I left a phone message and someone got back to me within a couple hours and listened really well to my problems. I was given an appointment the next morning and Mike showed up right on time. He listened really well to my complaints about Windows 8 not meshing with my email account and he took time to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it. He was never in a hurry-he had to think things out because it was an odd problem that he hadn't experienced before. He solved the problem for me. He then proceeded to install my new wireless printer for me and that went very smoothly.

Mike located the problem and also tuned up my computer, which performs much better than before. I subsequently had problems with the Java installation and Mike returned and fixed the problem, which turned out to be two problems, and for no fee. Mike's computer knowledge and abilities are outstanding. He also performs his work in a friendly as well as professional manner. I recommend KNR Computer Service unreservedly.

Outstanding, reliable, informative and EXCEEDINGLY PATIENT. In my experience, this combination of characteristics was obsolete, until I met Mike! I had a variety of fixes needed, that required a home visit, and plan to continue relying on this company for any computer related issues.

From start to finish, phone calls (there were several) were answered immediately, or if a message was left, a response seemed to take no time at all. Mike Stutzman, the partner who serviced our desktop computer, made three housecalls, arriving on time or slightly earlier. Upon arrival, before I could ask, he voluntarily removed his shoes. His manner was professional, never abrupt; he was polite, ready and willing to answer questions in person or on the phone. He never rushed us. Mike willingly educated us about our computer, never talking down to us or using language that was over our heads; his speech and language were easy for us to understand. This was as important as his being knowledgeable about computers and their repair, because I have a hearing loss. My knowledge of computers is middle-of-the-road. It was clear from the get-go that Mike knows and understands computers inside out. His actions were always honorable and appropriate. It was obvious he cared about giving us the highest level of quality and service possible. This has been the most positive computer repair service we've ever had. We'd use this company's services again in a heartbeat. We have no complaints, and can't think how it could possibly have gone better. Meredith Low

I run a small business out of my home. The computer I use as a file and database server would not boot completely. I'm pretty computer-savvy and spent a day trying everything I could think of (and research on google). I gave up and made a request about 9pm via their website. Ron called me first thing in the morning to go over the issue, and set an appointment time of 1:30 for Mike. Mike arrived right on time. It was a little tricky, but he was able to get the computer to boot so I could save my files, and also investigated several things that might have caused the issue. At each step, he was able to explain what he was doing, and gave me lots of good advice about my options going forward. I will definitely be using Ron and Mike again.

Ron did a great job. He is knowledgeable, professional, neat and productive. He installed the new system in three hours; it would have taken me twice the time and I would still be using the old software that he replaced. I will use KNR for all our computer services.

I was impressed with how professional the technician was. He was punctual and knowledgeable. He asked a few questions and then setup my wireless router that I had tried to do myself. He was able to handle the installation in a timely manner. He did everything I asked and answered all my questions. He even cleaned up the computer to make it perform better.

Excellent. He arrived early, went right to work, and actually spent more than the purchased two hours to completely fix the problems. Strongly recommended.

Ron always arrives on time and is a pleasure to work with....explains things and them lets me do a hands on..if I forget anything I can always e-mail him..I had had him do computer work for me in the past, but what a deal he offered..2 hours for 79.00..Can't beat that. Smart, personable, punctual, and available within a day or so, sometimes same-day. Always explains what he's doing. Professional, knowledgeable, and doesn't try to sell you more than you need. We find him indispensable. It used to be with computers that something would go wrong and we'd tear our hair out trying to fix it ourselves or on the phone with technical "support." Now we just say, "Call Michael."

I think I got a certain percentage off because this was the second time I used him. He was wonderful. On of the things I liked about him was when he was setting up my new computer he encouraged me to sit next to him so I could learn as I went along. He explained everything in laminas terms. It was very easy to understand everything. He was just great. He answered all of my questions. I think his price for what he did was fine. He was very professional and that is what I was looking for. It was much better than other people I have used in the past. I was really really impressed with him and will use him again.

We found KNR in the yellow pages years ago and have used no one else since. Ron is competent, reliable and honest. You feel comfortable and know you're getting your money's worth. He explains everything as he does it. Coupons are offered at least 2x a year. GREAT SERVICE!

We have three computers that Ron at KNR comes out twice a year and services. He does complete maintenance on all three. On this last service call he installed Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. The thing we really like about him is that , in addition to keeping our computers running smoothly, he will show us things about using the computer. My husband and I are seniors and not as well versed in the use of computers as some of the younger generation. Numerous times we have called Ron on the phone with problems and he has talked us through it. We moved to Rochester 8 years ago and have been using KNR most of this time and have been well satisfied.

My Dell laptop was rendered inaccessable by a particularly clever and invasive malware program. Within a couple hours of contacting KNR the owner, Ron, called to discuss the problem. We set up an appointment for the following day. Ron arrived on time and explained in layman's terms what he planned to do. It should be mentioned that unlike some computer specialists he was very sociable and wanted to explain what the problem was and how he was solving it, in language I could understand. He removed the malware, restored the damage it had done and provided me with software tools which would prevent another attack and also keep the machine running properly. The amount charged was reasonable considering the complete disabling of the PC.

We had recently made an 800 mile relocation to Rochester, NY and my computer was unpacked onto my desk along with the keyboard, printer, speakers, tower etc. and I had no idea how to connect the parts together--or to connect them to the internet. I checked Angie's List , read the reviews on KNR Computer Services Inc. and called them. Ron Walls arrived punctually the next day and went immediately to work connecting my computer. He then serviced it for me (he recommends an annual service and it now runs so much better that I shall certainly call him to perform it again in a year). During the service, he installed free security software, removing many unnecessary files, showed me some helpful ways to do things and finally performed the same service on my laptop. Ron worked solidly for two hours and was extremely knowledgeable as well as personable and friendly---and, as a first-time client, he gave me a discount of $10.00 for each hour he worked

t They are fantastic. I have had both the owner Ron and Mike who works with him. I have absolutely NO complaints and sooooo glad I found them. They solve problems in a timely manner...always punctual, courteous, friendly....can't say enough good things about them!!!! I recommend them very highly if you want quality service.

After trying a few things, Ron gave me the option of making a few changes and see if that corrects the problem or installing a new wireless router at a cost of $50 for the router. I opted for the new router and have been extremely happy. He also reconnected my computer, Netflex, printer, and tablet to the new router. My computer had been sluggish and Ron did a thorough cleanup and the computer is working very well. I am very pleased with his service and would use him again.

Ron, of KNR Computer Service was prompt, very helpful and informative. He encouraged me to watch over his shoulder as he searched for the problem. He does not sell product himself, which I found refreshing. At the end of his visit, he did recommend a power surge and supplied his opinion on the best for the money. I was impressed , satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to call KNR again.

My computer had been infected and I had used McAfee and Malware Bytes to clean it and remove compromised files. McAfee was saying my computer was clear but in the scan report said the computer had 4 trojans and 1 potentially unwanted program. I didn't feel safe using it for paying bills and my online banking. I wanted it cleaned and checked to make sure it was secure. I called and left a message and received a call within a few hours. I was pleased someone could come the next day. Mike arrived right on time. I told him about how the computer had been infected on what I'd done to clean it. He checked everything and said it looked okay. He cleaned up some things we no longer needed and downloaded the free Malware Bytes, because I was using a free trial, and another program to clean "house". Mike also checked out a laptop that had been potentially infected but it was clear too. I was happy to have the piece of mind that my computer is secure now.

A couple of months ago, a batch of family pictures were wiped off of the computer. I had never had the need for a computer repair service so I wasn't sure where to turn. I had plenty of "friend-of-a-friend" references but was too hesitant to use anyone because of the lost pictures. I was concerned I might have only one chance to resurrect them and could not get comfortable letting a stranger work on the computer. Then I joined Angie's List and with the references from others,was comfortable giving Ron a go. He scheduled us in right away. He was punctual and very informative. He explained everything he was doing as he went along. It was when he was showing me how to backup to the external hard drive that we located the pictures!!! Overall, what impressed me the most was his time management. Time is money and he was very sensitive to that - he explained every single thing he was doing while staying right on task.
