Technician arrived at time promised. He seemed competent and confident. He answered all my questions as I watched him perform the maintenance and gave me some tips on maintaining my furnace.

It started with the professionalism and kindness of Kim, who took my call. She explained how booked out they were, and after I explained my difficult schedule, she told me she'd look into it and get back to me. She did just that! Within half an hour she called me back and scheduled an appointment for the very next day :) Tom Wilson showed up at my door promptly the next morning. Two words come to mind: gentle integrity. The first thing he did was point out what last year's service company didn't do. He clearly explained some of his concerns (my system dates back to the late 80's) but with no pressure. Tom demonstrated expertise with his trade, and I found him to be totally trustworthy. I look forward to working with him again in the near future!

I wish I could rate their actual work but unfortunately no one even called me back. I called the regular number on their website which leads to a voicemail. This voicemail states, "If this is an emergency please contact 518-858-0518." I did that which lead to another voicemail (you would think this would lead to a person but it was just another voicemail.) I left a message stating I was having an emergency because my furnace stopped working and is making a horrendous noise and I need someone to come right away. It is now Tuesday and I have gotten no call back whatsoever. I'm glad they are doing enough business that they can just completely ignore potential clients. Why have an emergency contact number if you are just going to ignore the people who call it? If you are a busy company you could have at least called back to make an appointment for a later date. What kind of service is that?!

I had noticed a hum in the furnace, and Wilson came out to look at it in a very timely way. The technicians found that the pump on the furnace had to be replaced, replacing it during the visit. A short while later, I noticed that there was still a much softer hum on the furnace, and they returned immediately after finishing another call to check it out. The technician explained that it was normal to have some sound from an older furnace, which is what this is. He said that while he could replace one of the older components that might be causing the residual sound, he did not think that was necessary. I was very satisfied with the whole experience and definitely will use Wilson Brothers in the future.

Wilson Brothers came in a timely manner after we first called them. The employee was polite, professional and explained everything to us in terms we could understand. He left our old sump pump and suggested we hang on to it as a backup, which we wouldn't have thought to do.

They were very thorough and informative. We enjoyed the experience so much that we signed a one-year maintenance agreement with them.

What a great experience. Tom himself came to do the service and look over our system. He was completely professional and did a very thorough job. I was very pleased.

An hour before a party at our new house our a/c unit stopped working! Panic mode set in until we called Wilson Brothers. Someone came within 2 hours and come to find out our unit was only operating at 50% efficiency because it was missing a part! The tech was very thorough, checked EVERYTHING so that we were well informed of what was going on and what service he was going to do. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Within an hour we could already feel the difference of a stronger force of cool air in our bedroom which we had been wondering why it wasn't getting as cool air as the rest of the house. Previous owner of our home told us she pre-paid annual contract for annual inspection of a/c unit and for air filter to get replaced. Needless to say we will not be renewing the contract with other vendor because they didn't even catch the a/c has been running on a missing part and could have ended up costing us a lot more. I also want to take a moment to note that we used Wilson Bros. for the first time in July when the a/c unit in our home to be put up for sale stopped working! My husband asked the guys to please do whatever they can to fix it because the last thing we needed was the added expense of a new a/c unit. Sure enough, they fixed it and got it up and running again even though it may only have another year or two left. Needless to say, we really appreciated their efforts to work with us. Their response time was quick, service was very friendly and courteous and prices are very reasonable for such high quality of work performed by extremely knowledgeable staff. We will continue using them for all the services they offer and happily recommend them to anyone!!

Another contractor who had cleaned the furnace advised me that I should think about replacing it. Wilson Brothers examined the furnace closely, and said that there was no need to replace the furnace at this time, expressing some concern that I would have been advised that it would be a good idea at this point to think about replacing it. After this contact, I will use Wilson Brothers for future service and furnace replacement/AC addition when the time comes (as well as plumbing). This was a case in which no work was done, beyond the advice, but the contact was very positive and honest, and the company earned a future customer.

They came out to check out my unit. It was not working and very hot in my house. They came out and did the estimate, the next day they came back with the new unit and had it installed. All within one days notice. They were very neat and respectful of me and my home. The pricing was very competitive. The service was excellent as well as the quality of work. I would highly recommend.

They were very professional. The owner came and there were two technicians who came as well. They were all good. They did a good job.

The service man determined that the AC unit was beyond repair (it had been several years since it was tuned up). He recommended a new unit, but we have an old furnace so that will have to be replaced first. He was honest and helpful and did not charge me for the service call even though I offered to pay him for his time.

I all very upset when I found the toilet had leaked water all over the bathroom and the water was coming in my family room. I call and got his wife. She told me about the shutoff (yes...I forgot about it). This worked and Mr. Wilson was in there within the hour. Did the job plus a few other things, cleaned up after himself and was done in that hour. I really appreciated his promptness and his friendly matter.

Our house is newer and he pointed out that a/c unit was installed incorrectly. We had standing water in the unit. He came with his crew and was hands on throughout the project which I find rare for the owner of the company to be hands on. They installed a new unit in one day. We are very happy with it so far and he did say to call him we encountered any problems. I would recommend him.

I got 2 plumbing services from them and it was good both times, they resolved the issue. There were extra charges because they had to do repairs and they had to get materials which they charged me extra for. The gentleman that came out was friendly, they fixed the repair and we have had no issue with the repairs so it was great.

It went very well. They showed up on time. They did what they were supposed to do and they charged what they said they were going to charge. So, we were very satisfied with them.

We had a quote of 15000 from one company and had a very difficult time finding another to come all the out to our home since we live in the country. Wilson Bros. were willing to make the trek and did a very thorough, professional and cost savings job. We have hired them again to service another home we own in Albany.

Wilson Brothers cleaned out my air vents. They were punctual and did a good job.

I know our system is terrible but he made me very uncomfortable like everything was going to blow up any second. I could look past that but after the inspection, we never heard from them again. He was supposed to email the quote and proposal to us. I called a week later and they said that they would get to us within four days and there was still nothing. A professional would have called back. Even if they are understaffed, it doesn't matter, they should have called back.

The whole project went extremely well. Tom Wilson was very helpful as we figured out what kind of boiler I wanted and patiently answered all of my questions. Most of this back-and-forth was done using email, which was very convenient (no phone tag!). The installation was complicated by the fact that I wanted to burn the oil in my tank, leading to the late November date. To make the transition as quick as possible, they came and installed the gas line to the boiler area ahead of time and stored the new boiler near the old one. When the oil was getting very low, they contacted National Grid to set up the meter installation and installed the new boiler just in time for National Grid to do the pressure test and set the meter. Because of the extra time needed to install the chimney liner, I was without heat for one night. Tom came prepared with several electric space heaters for me to use, though I just used my wood stove instead. I am completely satisfied with the work. The installation is very neat and clean and the system is working perfectly. The whole experience of working with Wilson Bros. was great - they were responsive, punctual, and did a fantastic job.

The technician that came to my home was there at the time I was told when making my appointment time he was polite experience and clean He gave me a quote before the work was done and even gave me a $46.00 discount on top of the angies list Big deal discount. He even called his boss to see if he could get me a better deal especially when I and my husband are on fixed incomes, which I am utmost grateful for.I will have this company again I was very satisfy with the work and the price

Initially using our AC unit for the summer season, we had smelled some burning coming through the vents. We had a coupon for Wilson Brothers, so scheduled an appointment with them. They were able to come within the week despite it being the busy season for AC calls, and were able to quickly look at our unit, which is old but still in good condition. They were very honest and friendly the entire time, and when it came to letting us know what the trouble was (which was the plastic around the piping was simply deteriorating and could be replaced if we wanted, but was of no harm and there was no risk of a fire), didn't pressure us in any way to get unnecessary work done in order to maximize the cost of the trip for them.

Very well . The serviceman was not only knowledgeable and efficient, he was very respectful of my home.

Overall it went well. A couple of things needed to be attended to again, however when it was brought to their attention they responded quickly and corrected the problem.
