Pace was great from the sales person Dan all the way through the install. I was so happy with my first install that there was no doubt I was calling them to do the rest of my windows in my house. I’ve recommended them to both of my brothers who also ended up using Pace, so there’s no one else I’d go to in order to get new windows through.

Making the decision to replace windows on your home can be scary. I had 2 other companies come out before Pace and I picked them for they were willing to work with me on all issues. Sales representative Mark S. did a excellent demonstration on their product and was willing to take the time to answer all my questions. I was able to do back of my house (6 windows) in Fall of 2017 and front of house (8 windows) in the Spring of 2018 making it easier to come up with the money which I would owe. Their price was lower then the other companies and their customer service was excellent. Jessica in the office helped with any questions I had and the installers both times Fall and Spring did a great job. They have an excellent Lifetime Transferrable Warranty. If I did not believe in this company I would not have written a review on Angie's List. Very pleased with all that was done and with product and highly recommend this company. :)

The Pace Windows representatives and installers, and phone staffers showed extreme professionalism and did a quality job in all areas. They were punctual and could be reached for questions and concerns at all times. Some of the other highly recognizable names in the Rochester, NY and surrounding areas proved to be difficult to reach by phone and even harder to get an estimate from. Pace has the best guarantee in the business (for our needs) probably because they sell quality products and install them correctly in the first place. Hopefully we will never need to use the guarantee, but rest assured that Pace will be very responsive in honoring their contract. Special Thanks to Jeff Bleecker, Larry Harris, and Chris (the installer), and also all the phone staff for doing such a great job in all areas. We recommended Pace Windows.

I had to ask the sales rep to leave my home before he even started his sales pitch. He wouldn't meet with me without my husband even though I own the house and would be making the decision. When he heard my husband, an attorney, would just be looking at the contract, he showed me the contract and said it was fine and he couldn't meet with me without my husband. I said, "Okay then, I guess you should leave," and he got angry and responded, "Well, that's abrasive." At that point, I asked him to leave again. He said he might be able to get special permission to meet with me and reiterated that my husband didn't need to see the contract. After a heated verbal exchange I finally got him to leave. I found his attitude unprofessional at best and condescending at worst.

Was scheduled for 2 days all work was completed in one. My house was treated with respect and they cleaned everything upon leaving. Would definitely hire again

It went OK. Quality of storm door was not as good as I expected.

I contacted Pace, via phone in February 2016. The person that answered the phone did not give the best 1st impression. He answered it via speaker phone, which is irritating from the start. I asked to make an appointment with a sales person to come to my house for a quote. He stated quite clearly that I would have to have my HUSBAND there with me to sign papers. I expressed, my home is in MY name and I will be paying the bill. He was very irritated by my response and reiterated and got me an appointment. The appointment time was set and the salesperson was 15 mins late. No call or apology for being late. After a very nice presentation that educated me on windows and what you get, I was given a quote and I said I would be contacting them after I have done some shopping around. Good enough. After I spoke with 3 different companies, I felt that my best option was with Pace, even if they were more expensive. After I spoke with their accounting dept about a price I received from another company, they lowered their quote by $900 to compete. This was enough for me to sign the contract. The sales person came back, was 10 mins late. We signed the contract. then I had to have the official measurer come to do their work so my windows could be made. The appt setter advised he would be there at X time. He showed up 15 min late. At installation, 2 gentlemen showed up 25 mins late, and did an excellent job installing. Very fast and efficient. But one of the screens didn't fit. They advised the measurer would be back to remeasure. When the appt was set, he showed up 40 min late. Now I am a bit mad because I left work early. I also expressed that one other window screen was warped and I wanted it fixed. 2 weeks later, after a few calls to the company asking why it takes so long for them to make a new screen, they send someone to install my 2 new screens. He is also late. He appears at my front door and asks "do they do this from the inside or outside". REALLY? The warped screen fit, no problem. The troubled screen......still didn't fit. He vanishes for about 30 mins and then comes back to put it in the window. All is fine. I did complain to the 'speaker phone' person that EVERYONE from their company is late and no one ever calls. This is not great customer service. Additionally, no one has called to see if all is going well with my new windows. Bottom line......would I use them again? I am on the fence but likely would. As time passes and my windows will need servicing, I hope I have a better experience overall.

From the get-go wasn't enthusiastic about going with pace. Of the places that I got quotes from, the pace salesman was one of the more aggressive ones, and put on an academy award winning performance to get me to believe that he was jumping through hoops to try to lower the price. Some things I wish I had known: 1) a free estimate will ABSOLUTELY turn into a pressured sales pitch 2) Never pay the initial price they quote you. It is a tactic so they can lower it later and make you think you are getting a good deal. All that said, I feel these windows are decent but overpriced. All the ads you see from them are just bait and switch. Other than the sales process, everything else went ok. The installers were polite and professional and returned to correct some issues.

I didn't end up using PACE because they gave me a hard time about my husband having to be there for the estimate. They claimed that they didn't want me to change my mind after the initial estimate was done, so both of us needed to hear the sales pitch. That's all fine, except when I advised that my husband works nights and would not available and that I had been in charge of hiring company's for "all" the repairs in our home, and had been more than capable of choosing windows, they refused me. They kept pushing and pushing for something that wasn't going to happen. I mean really??? Had I said I was single and ended up changing my mind, what difference would it have made in the end? They would still have to give me a new estimate. On the flip side, the both of us make it there and we still change our minds. I felt really insulted that I was treated as though me being a women, would inconvenience them somehow and that my choices can't be trusted. I already knew what windows I wanted because I was comparison shopping. I wasn't going in blind and dumb... They "forced" me into a scheduled appointment I knew my husband wasn't going to be able to be there for. After working late, he was not going to be alert enough to go thru the process. There was no need for him to be. I called back after I thought about the whole situation and cancelled. I went with Wonder Windows instead. At least I wasn't treated as thought I couldn't make a decision without my husband. I was treated with dignity and respect by their representative and have now made my appointment for the final measuring. The sad part is, the price may or may not have been better with PACE, and had they made the appointment without my husband having to be there, I'm sure things may have gone different. However, they wouldn't budge and absolutely none of them tried to make this right. So, I guess they didn't give a squat about doing business with me and chose to take an "Oh...Well", approach to it. No husband present…no service. They should put that part in their ads.

The crew was excellent. On time and very professional throughout the process. They answered all my questions. The windows are great.

The sales person delivered what was promised, installers were friendly, prompt and fixed a couple of small things that needed repair for the new windows. A few years later I was spraying the outside of the windows to clean them and realized water was coming in to the house. I called Pace and they came right out to review the issue, found the problem, tried to fix it, accidentally broke the window and ordered us a new one. He also replaced all of the screen pulls with sturdier ones. I gave them an A because there was no hassle and they are professional and want their customers to be happy.

The installation went good. Vary happy with the new doors, and notice a huge difference on the efficiency on heat/cool loss. The installer did a good job removing all the rotted out frame and hold door. Our installer even went above and beyond by removing safety bars that was placed around the house from the previous owners which was no longer needed. He even smoothed over and cover up the holes left by the screws. I consider this A customer service, and I be looking into replacing my screen doors with Pace. The price may be a little high, but after receiving pricing from other competitors. The price wasn't much more. I even had one competitor try to rip me off by charging twice as much for the same amount of work. Plus Pace was supplying a better product than the other Competitor.

Contacted the provider for a quote to complete work for all new windows and doors. During contact, provider learned that the windows and doors were for a house in "estate" status. They were snotty and refused to quote--simply couldn't be bothered--even though the money was 100% ready and secure, and the job would be paid in cash. Told me they "don't deal with estates." Quoted with multiple other providers and did not experience estate status as a problem.

The cost was relatively cheap because of an Angie's list coupon, however their prices are generally high. But you get what you pay for! These are very high quality windows and we are happy with them.

I visited the location to see a garden window in person. I needed 6 windows replaced; 5 double hung and 1 garden window. An appointment was set up for an estimate. No one showed up, I was just about to write a review on Angie's list about the no show and then received a call from Pace...to summarize, I agreed to another appointment per their misunderstanding. I decided I would hire Pace to replace my windows after the second appointment. The installers were professional and courteous and completed in 1 day. Immediately I could feel the difference in the heat of my home. There no longer was a draft around the windows or the coldness of the rooms. For the first time in many years I didn't need an electric blanket to warm my bed; my bed was room temperature, not ice cold. My garden window in my kitchen is beautiful. Gorgeous. But know the exact measurements prior to agreeing to this. Long story short, due to my experience regarding measurements this should no longer be an issue to anyone. Pace mentions measuring from the inside wall. It was critical that the measurements in my situation that every inch counted. I measured with the salesman inside my wall & outside to know exactly where the garden window would protrude from the outside of my home. It didn't add up but I trusted what I was I was being told and this 18"inch garden window (per interior) measurements now are 24" interior. So now I have to use a small step stool to open and close the window. My outside measurements doesn't allow for the the deck furniture to rest comfortably against. So, conclusion....I was informed that salesman will be made aware of proper disclosure of accurate measurements and how it will realistically affect the homeowner. Meanwhile, please make certain what you signed up for is what you get. Overall, I am pleased with the performance with the windows. Not so happy with the salesmans measurements...this will be a lifelong effect for me. I have to use a step stool to open and close my garden window and my deck has to accommodate the garden window that protrudes from my kitchen. Overall the quality is there but is not conducive to my situation.

These guys are great. They show up on time, clean up after themselves & have a fantastic product. In addition to the windows themselves, the package comes with new screens & new outside trim. The bedrooms are a lot warmer with these new windows & they look great. I gave them a B for price - apparently it was high because we wanted two colors on our windows (one on the inside, one on the outside) & neither one was standard white. I didn't ask exactly how much cheaper white would be, because I didn't want to be tempted. But it sounded like white might have saved us 25%, so it's worth considering. The warranty is astonishing - it covers everything forever. This includes the screen! And baseballs through the windows. It's transferable to the next owner. This kind of warranty also gives me confidence in their product - companies can't afford to provide warranties like that unless their products are really good.
