My call was answered. They said they would be out on a Friday and I got a call that day and he had equipment problems and asked if he could come Monday or Tuesday of the following week. I was Ok with that. However, they never showed or called again. UPDATE: After they received my review, I was contacted and they apologized for the mix up. I am out range for some of their services. I was looking for a one stop shop so I decided not to use them. I did appreciate the follow up and their attempt to clear up everything. I do get the feeling that the care about their customers.

Overall, a professional job well done. The estimate was detailed so you understood what you were paying for.

Greg's knowledge and designs were very good. I never had to worry about the quality of the work. Whenever I had questions they were very prompt to respond,. If there were any issues they would fix them promptly. I also found that their pricing was right in the middle of the quotes I received from other companies.

I wasn't very happy with their service. The lawn seeding wasn't done that good so the seed didn't germinate so I had to go and buy my own lawn soil. I've had them do other work and had problems as well....had to fight with them about replacing a tree, among other things. I think their price is expensive too.

I have hired Benson to do the work. Because it is not complete I will write a second review to explain how it went from start to finish.

It is fine. I've used them for two summers and am satisfied with their work.

I would certainly recommend Benson Enterprises. They charge on a per-job basis, so it varies based on what they are doing. I remember the tree removal was very reasonably priced. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

This lawn company does a great job on my lawn, and I will continue to use their services.

Fairly easy to deal with. We had a couple of challenges early on, but they stepped up to the plate and righted them. Overall did a nice job. They respond very quickly, unlike many contractors I have dealt with in the past. Based on the work they did for me, I would say they are probably one of the better landscapers in the area.

I always wanted a beautiful backyard. We moved into our home in November of last year and the back yard was almost a reason I didn't want the house. I has a easement in the back so I can't build anything on the last 20 feet. The previous owner had but a deck on the back of the garage, but not the house. We had a shed, a playhouse and a swing set we inherited from the previous owner that was taking up space. We had several landscaping companies come out and talk to us about their ideas. We liked theirs so much that we agreed to pay for a plan to be drawn up. We liked the plan so much that we hired them to implement it. A nice thing was the did not charge us for the plan since we used them. They came in and did the whole backyard. They went the extra mile and I was very happy with the results. Its exactly as I want it now. We are saving up to have them come back and do the front yard.

They responded in a timely fashion. They were easy to work with. We would use them again.

The project began last winter, with me meeting with the landscaping design consultant to describe what I wanted to do with the entire yard. About a month later. he gave me a landscaping plan graphically showing the layouts of the various planting areas with an inventory of proposed trees, bushes, and flowers. I found this useful, but not entirely satisfying since most of the plants specified were unfamiliar. He the directed me to websites of past projects of his company and photographs of some of the splants that I asked about. Finally, he took me to the nursery to actual see the plants that were not on the websites. The project was approved and a 1/3 deposit made in mid-May. However, the work was not scheduled until late June. It turned out that we were on vacation when the project was scheduled to begin. That caused it to be delayed until around July 1O. It was then completed sometime around July 15. Overall, the quality of the landscaping is quite good and I am very satisfied with the work. In general, I found the service (i.e., working with the landscaping design consultant) excellent. I think the price of the project was quite high, but the quality is also. I didn't have multiple estimates for the work; therefore, I can't compare the price to other landscapers. My only complaint is that it seemed a bit much to require a 1/3 deposit to schedule a installation date and then end up waiting 2 months (with the summer half gone) before the work was completed..

I got an estimate for landscaping services from this company - they were polite and professional in providing me with an estimate. However, I was not financially in a position to pay what they offered to perform the services I had requested.

They were not the least expensive but they took their time to make sure they understood what I wanted done and gave me good suggestions. There was no hard sell. As I said above they started and finished the job when they said, they did not wait till the end to clean up they cleaned up every day. They were very professional and just did a great job. They even called to be sure there was nothing I was dissatisfied with.

I don’t remember how much I spent. Overall the job done was great. I have no complaints. I would use their services again in the future.

I paid them monthly. They were fine. They do good work and they come on time. They are responsive to their customers. I didn?t compare their prices.

They are an excellent company. The people are really nice and their work is good. They come when they say they are going to come and they do what they say they are going to do. We have had a very pleasant experience with them. They are not the cheapest people in the world, but you get what you pay for.

Great! We've used Benson for several jobs over the years. Their crews are always professional, know exactly what to do, and work quickly. Every detail is resolved and the finished product always looks great. As we always do, we got other estimates, but Benson always wins when you look at schedule, time to complete and overall quality (and on price this time, as well).

They far exceeded our expectations given our experiences fixing-up our house and yard over the past 43 years. The checkoffs above give an general idea of performance, but were exceeded, Their work was done on time, with daily clean up, The foreman and workers were an effective, skilled and cooperative team. The supervisor came by regularly. When we wanted a change or an extra we had a written estimate in 2 to 3 days. The costs were reasonable [though landscaping isn't cheap]. They never exceed the estimate.

He might have been the least expensive. However, we went with the other company because we liked what he was going to do better.

Initially, there was one issue, as the company left the stumps too tall and thus unsightly. This was, however, due to the fact that the trees were growing through a chain link fence and the wood could not readily be cut any closer to the ground. However, Benson Enteprises worked with me to resolve this, even wiring up the portions of the fence that had to be cut through. I ended up very satisfied with their work and the level of effort they put forth to satisfy me.
