PICKETT'S PAINTING

Pickett's painting is a testament to how much you can get away with when you have an affable personality, DON'T BE FOOLED. I hired Ron in March 2023 and red flags flew pretty quickly when he and his helper tracked snow in many times, taped or draped nothing and dragged furniture away from walls rather than carrying. By the end of the job we had paint along carpet in all three room's trim he painted, paint on bedding, broken furniture supports from dragging, paint on outlets and light fixtures (he removed no plate or trim covers), drip marks, missed spots in all rooms, very patchy paint coverage on trim, unpatched holes, a mess left where they rinsed brushes and massive disappointment. Pickett's is a landlord special, don't hire him if you have an ounce of care for your space or value for a dollar.

OK, but they left a mess

They were great. Very professional, pleasant and reliable. They did a great job in a timely fashion and made my property look fabulous.

Ok except for a MAJOR defect that they would not return to fix without weeks of hassle. When they finally fixed the work they were rude and unprofessional.

They were prompt, professional, very speedy (3.5 hrs - 3 men), reasonable and overall did an amazing job. There were just a couple of spots where the wall paint was on the trim but with a modular homes, lines are not straight anyway, so I certainly understand the occassional unevenous. Overall they did an amazing job and I would recommend them and will probably hire them to finish the other 3 unused rooms once we get settled in.

The job was quoted promptly and the work completed was excellent. The job consisted of power washing one day and two coats of paint sprayed on an aluminum sided house the next day.

I called Pickett's Painting to give us a quote on refinishing/painting our outdoor pergola and small concrete pad. Rob Pickett was prompt in his response and came right over to give us the quote on 4/24/16. His quote was extremely reasonable and less than all of the other quotes. He told us he would have the work done by the end of May. He called us on May 15th and asked if he could come on Tuesday and do the work. Rob and his crew arrived promptly on Tuesday morning. They were professional and very courteous. They had the pergola and pad done that day and they did a beautiful job. They exceeded our expectations. They did such a great job - 2 of our neighbors have hired them to paint the exterior of their homes. I would absolutely hire Pickett's Painting for future work and I would recommend them to anyone that wants high quality, professional work done at a very reasonable price.

Pickett's painting did an excellent job. They were prompt. They cleared everything up. They even painted our billco basement doors with the left over paint at no charge. Super Job!

I waited 2 1/2 months for them to do the work, but it was worth the wait. The work was beautifully done and I am very satisfied. Exactly what was written in the estimate and the contract was done. Cleaned up afterward. Completed the work in a timely manner. One of the few companies I would trust in the future.

Painted 2 story foyer and ceiling, we supplied the paint, floors were really dirty when they were done. Their cloths had a lot of dirt and debris that was left behind, along with some paint on our hardwood. I swept and washed the floor twice when they were gone. |Good quality painters and very nice.

Ron was very responsive and easy to work with. He loaned me his color wheel to save me from running around, he kept me posted on the progress and everything was done exactly to specification! It wasn't 'cheap' but you get what you pay for and I woudl definitely use them again.

They arrived on schedule. The work was done as per the quote. The work was done very neatly and they left no mess when the job was done. I would use them again.

We've used dozens of contractors in the past few years, and Ron Pickett and his crew are absolutely the best. The estimate was immediate, the price was affordable, the interactions were professional, the work was fast (3 days from beginning to end), and the result is spectacular. The only challenge is getting on the schedule: this talented crew is busy, and if you are thinking of having your house painted you need to contact them well in advance in order to get on their schedule.

I had used this group paint another house I own around 1999. I was pleased then and I am pleased now.

I just had some remodeling work done on my kitchen/family room - which are now connected. I got an estimate from Pickett's painting to do just the family room, but once the kitchen was done, it was clear it need to be painted too. They gave me a quote right away (and even gave me a "returning customer" discount!!) and actually stayed right on site to finish the kitchen at the same time as the family room. They were outstanding, friendly, helpful, (great suggestions on paint colors!) and professional. I highly recommend them .... I already have an estimate from them to paint the outside of my house next spring!

They were careful with the furniture and flooring; making sure everything was covered. Neat and excellent painters. There is more painting i have decided to have done. They will be back in the Spring to take care of it for me. Very pleasant to work with.

He responded to everything. He did good work. The product that he used to paint was not good. He had to come back and do some patching and he did that. The patch was not everywhere. It may not be his fault necessarily. He came back the next year. He didn’t charge me for that. We still have some problem. He cleaned up everything. I would use him in the future.

The quote was reasonable and it was within our budget. I liked the guy. He was very nice, friendly and helpful. The quote was within my budget. We were hit by the flood so everything got postponed. Probably the next February I am going to have a look at them again. He was very professional. I plan to use this company.

Overall great experience, I would use them again in the future and recommend them to my friends and associates.

Prior to painting (a couple of weeks), they power washed the deck. Due to all the bad weather, the painting got done about two weeks later. They carefully covered the walls of the house and garage with plastic and spray painted the deck which is two levels - being careful about a robin's nest under the deck. They did a great job.
