Outstanding! Joel was an expert at replacing siding that had fallen from the top of my house. He was calm, polite, and thorough with his work. I would hire him again in a second if or when I might need more work done. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing home repairs.

Joel has been very professional in responding to my request. He was very courteous and responsive. I felt he was very clear and transparent in explaining what is needed and what the detailed costs were in the formal estimate (compared to others that I also solicited). In fact, after opening the roof he mentioned that a couple of other plywood pieces were rotten which needs replacement not quoted in the first estimate. I did not anticipate the extra cost but was satisfied with his detailed explanation. I would surely reconsider him for future work

Excellent work. He did the work right away, charged a very good rate, wore a mask, sent photos of completed work and an explanation of the problem and correction areas and what was used. Jo-El is a very nice and courteous person. I felt comfortable having him on my property and in my home.

Joel, the owner, was responsive, timely, and considerate of our input and many questions. We'd an easygoing exchange between us throughout the process, which was not a lengthy one, as his efficient crew worked energetically till nightfall to complete the work staying just ahead of the impending rainfall. Joel has a good eye for detail and was present to assess his crew's work throughout the day, which further reinforced our appreciation of him, which helped keep us relaxed throughout the project. Additionally, as the cost was competitive, we're certain that when the need for a contractor presents again in the future, we'll call Ventura Contracting for whatever project we find we need help with.

First job was a roof replacement. I researched a handful of contractors and chose him. He was moderately priced but had the best value for the dollar. He was also able to get to the project sooner. He and his crew were always there on time. Did a good job and left everything cleaned up. Very professional. A couple of years later that roof developed a leak. (It happens.) He came out the same day I called him and had it repaired. No charge, of course. A year or two later another older house I own and rent developed a moisture problem. He came out on the same day I called him. He spent 1.5 hours on the job investigating the source of the leak and then repaired it. Didn't charge me anything because I was one of his "customers". Joel Ventura is the contractor I want. He is timely, not over priced and very professional. He stands behind his work and his reputation.

Joel did a wonderful job. Not only does it look beautiful, he kept in touch with us as to when he would arrive each morning and let us know if there was a delay. He also pondered a humidity problem and arrived at a solution. I highly recommend him.

J. Ventura Contracting recently completed work on my roof. It was a large job and I understood going into it, this would be a major roofing project. Joel and his team made the experience easier than I ever imagined. They were easy to work with. and whenever I had a concern, the whole process was explained to me. They guys went beyond my expectations, especially since we had a major snow storm right in the middle of the project that dumped 40 inches of snow on the area where I live. The team didn’t let it slow them down much, as they came ready to shovel out and resume work. I had seen and heard horror stories about roofing, and I was honestly scared to get this project done. Joel and his team were professionals and it showed. The price was reasonable and the end result looks great.

Joel and his employees were an absolute joy to do business with. Any time we had questions or concerns they immediately stopped work to address them. When we had a question on something we thought was an issue during the weekend, Joel interrupted his weekend, packed his kids into the car and drove to our house to address the situation !! The quality of work was outstanding, and any time there was a concern on their part about something they feel was needed they spent as much time as needed to explain the options. At the end of each day they were here they were absolute "clean freaks" making sure every little piece of roofing, nails and garbage were cleaned up before leaving. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat and really enjoyed their commitment to doing a professional job on my roof.

Joel was a true professional from day one. He came and did a thorough inspection of our roof. He reviewed with us our options and provided us with information about roofing and the choices we had. He was quick on providing us with an estimate at a fair price. The crew that installed our roof was professional and friendly. When I had questions or concerns they were quick to address them. The work went well despite rainy weather. Cleanup at the end of each day was good. Joel is personable and responsive to questions and requests. He was present for much of the work performing some of the work himself. Work on the roof was fast. The house has much better curb appeal. I had a garage full of construction debride from interior remodeling that I did. Joel offered to haul it away at no cost to me. His workers loaded it into his trailer. Much appreciated.

Joel is very professional & easy to keep in touch with. He doesn’t leave you hanging & wondering when he’s showing up like some contractors do after they lock you into a contract. I run a business out of my home & was worried it would be difficult for families to access my entrance. The crew stopped & made a safe path to my door anytime needed. The masonry needed to be postponed due to rain, so I was nervous about how long it would take them to return but they came the next clear day & finished up. I would recommend J. Ventura to anyone I know!
