Clean Earth Septic Service

It didn't. Had it scheduled but found out from a contractor that his jet truck was broke down so I called them the day of service and they said it was fixed and they would be here. The appointment time came and went and they never showed. They never called to say they weren't coming or what was going on. They say 24 hr.service but I called several times and could only get voicemail. Left messages but never heard back. Finally my contractor found out they were broke down again.But they couldn't be bother to contact me.

Levi was punctual, professional, and played into my innate curiosity by answering questions and explaining the process since I've never dealt with a septic system before. Levi Carling was very prompt and quick to take care of my issues. He quickly found the problem and the septic tank pumped in no time. He did this while my yard was packed with snow and it was no more than 15 degrees outside. I will definitely use Clean Earth again!

I called Levi on a Saturday because we were down to 1 toilet for 6 people. The downstairs toilet had suddenly started gurgling on Thursday night. Internet research said it was a clog, so I called Roto Rooter Friday morning. To their credit, they came out that afternoon, but did not locate the clog. After removing the toilet and digging up the septic, they told my sons that there was no clog, but the septic tank was full. So I called Levi Saturday morning, DURING the Electra snow storm. He arrived at our house in Trumansburg (from Newfield) in 90 minutes, dug up 2 additional spots, found the clog (yes, there was a clog), pumped the tank, and only charged us $200.

Levi returned my call in the evening, which I appreciated. He was prompt (actually a few minutes early), efficient and very polite. He suggested I close my garage door so that the "perfume" wouldn't waft in while they were pumping.

Levy Carling is a local guy providing prompt and professional service at a reasonable rate. He is smart enough to have already secured the permits for taking septic waste to a number of regional wastewater treatment plants. That's why he was able to come out and takeover the job that Drain Brain had started after the Ithaca plant shut down for a sudden week of repairs. He was out here early the next day and quickly pumped the tank, sent down the camera, and applied the power jet to clear the blockage. He also let me know my old cast iron pipe was either scaling up inside or starting to separate and I should get an excavator in soon to replace the pipe with modern PVC. And he kindly fixed the leaking toilet that Drain Brain had left behind the previous week. By the way, the Drain Brain tech who came out worked very hard and was polite and professional. Their fee was $200 but the problem wasn't fixed and he left my basement toilet leaking after taking it off in misdirected attempt to diagnose the problem (which was obviously with the outfall pipe from tank). My big complaint is with their office manager/receptionist who sounded exceptionally spacey on the phone every time I talked with her. They came on a Thursday and thought they fixed it, but we were backed up again by the next evening. I called them on Monday and they promised to come on Tuesday. Waited all day at home and finally called them at 4:30. She said, "oh yeah, I remember talking to you" and then lets me know that the Ithaca plant shut down and they wouldn't be able to come out for a week! I was a customer with a blocked septic system unable to let water go down my drains and she doesn't even bother to call me. The Drain Brain owner should either give her intense training and supervision or replace her.

I knew it was time to have the septic tank pumped and I phoned Clean Earth Septic Service and he returned my call that afternoon. This was the first time I had ever used this company and was happy that he was located in Newfield. He told me that he could be at my house the next day between 3 and 4 p.m. depending on how a couple of other jobs went that day. They must have gone just fine because he was at my place at 3 p.m. on the dot ! Levi, the owner, went right to work and answered questions I had concerning the tank and his business. He was very informative, and avery nice person to talk with.

This service provider is absolutely the best. Very professional, very quick and reliable. I have had him out a few times at the last house I sold and my new residence (for regular service and an emergency). He is absolutely great.

We had our septic system pumped and cleaned. The Clean Earth team arrived 10 minutes early, were very kind even in a rain storm, and finished in 30 minutes. We had called other companies for estimates and were quoted more than $100 more than Clean Earth charged. We will call them again next time!
