his is my second visit from The Pipe Doctor. Both for different issues. They are prompt, courteous and have found solutions to each problem. They recommend any additional changes and I will definitely be using them to upgrade my heating system.

It wasn't great, it wasn't bad. It was so-so. I expected more (based on the ad that I bought, with a 22 pt. inspection or something like that). The last time I had it serviced and tuned up by another company (for similar price), they were way more thorough, cleaned the fins, replaced the air filter in the return, and gave me diagnostic info. for the unit. This was a very brief tune up, no filter, no cleaning, just basically a check of things and that was it. So while there was nothing "bad or wrong" about it, I wasn't exactly impressed with the quality and amount of detail to it. It is what it is, not bad, not good.

I called yesterday morning to get an estimate to replace my old 40 gallon gas water heater. I already called around and got quotes over the phone from a few other plumbers in less than 10 minutes. When I called Pipe Doctor, I was told they don't quote over the phone. Interesting, why not, I inquired. Their responses showed that they are a real professional plumbing company. He asked me questions like, do you run out of hot water now, how many bathrooms, do I have a dishwasher..a washing machine. None of the other companies asked me any questions. Anyway, 2 hours later, a plumber from Pipe Doctor rang my bell. Mike asked me several questions and determined that my house needed a 50 gallon water heater or a 6 gpm tankless water heater. Being on a fixed budget, if I could cut my gas bill in a cost effective manner, I'm willing to hear all options. This morning, Mike and Leon arrived as promised at 8am (actually earlier) and installed a new Rheem tankless water heater. I even got a $500 rebate. They were very clean, polite, friendly - yet very professional during the 4 hours they were in my house.

I am blown away by the professionalism of this home service company.

Our house was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Pipe Doctor was one of the few bright spots that we saw in the rebuilding process. They were there earlier than appointment times, they were thorough, they were fair, and they added a bit of pleasantness during a horrible time in our lives. Just to give an example of how helpful they were: I called at 3pm one afternoon because our flood cleanup/tear-out company couldn't access a wall that was blocked by our old boiler. Pipe Doctor was supposed to install our boiler (that they got for us before anyone we knew had access to any boilers because of a post-storm shortage!) in two weeks after the tear-out was complete. At 3:10pm I received a call from Pipe Doctor saying they would be at our house in 1/2 hour...and they had the boiler and air conditioning units out within an hour! Note: this was when everyone was still in shock after the storm and you couldn't even get any construction or plumbing companies on the phone! No ratings list has a category or rank that can describe how highly I think of this company. At a time when everyone was more than on edge and overwhelmed, they came through for us every time we called for every adjustment that had to be made and every detail that anyone could think of. Mike and the rest of the people at Pipe Doctor got us through the toughest time in our lives and they deserve to get every bit of business that they want from our area.

Farmingdale Pipe Doctor Plumbing, Heating, & Air did the heating very well. Since they replaced the valve or connection it has been working fine. They did a great job. They did a wonderful job on the heating. They were very professional, they knew what they were doing, they fixed the problem, and for a reasonable price. I am very happy with the work. They checked the entire system. They immediately found the problem, because it was really only a minor problem. I would say if you need a plumber don't call them. The only way I would give an A in price would be if it was free. The office has a professional staff and they have someone on all the time so they are very good.

they removed my 75 gallon water heater and installed a tankless water heater. they also serviced my hvac heating and ac system.

Wonderful. The salesman spent 2 hours sizing my home. Installation took 2 days as promised.
