+ -1 moreDJ and his crew are artists. First they removed all of the old paint so that they would be starting with a clean surface and not just putting new paint over old peeling paint. This was no small job as our house was built in the 1920's. Then they put down two coats of primer before painting. The house probably looks better than when it was new! Lots of compliments from passersby and other craftspeople working on the house. Expensive but worth it.

+ -1 moreBrazmex was the third (yes, third!) crew to get involved in a seemingly simple project: strip paint from wood, caulk/spackle and prime, then apply finish coats. The first two crews were bozos - it took them weeks and weeks and they still failed to finish properly or on time. Granted it's a large house (over 60 windows). ANYWAY, DJ and his crew came in and within 2 weeks had properly completed the repair, re-primed and applied two topcoats. They were meticulous about covering a/c compressors, brick, etc. and they restored detail to our 90 year old home that I never knew existed. These guys are great. Very fair pricing and extremely hardworking crew. Looking forward to having them come inside and correct the sloppiness done by others on the interior, too.
