survey of my home

not very well, their survey did not correspond to the original survey performed on my home. they never contacted me to notify when they were coming so I could be present. I contacted them to notify that one neighbor had removed a stake to adjust it to his favor and needed them to return and rectify the placing of the stake. I was told they would need to charge me again to restake that one area. All in all I am not happy with their service

Went perfectly. I contacted them after researching Angies List. Out of the 3 surveying companies I reached out to Arek responded the fastest by email. I gave them a quick message on the Scope of work and they sent a proposal and we scheduled an appointment for them to complete the survey. The survey was received via email by the date they said I would receive it. Followed by me picking the official stamped survey in their office. Everything was completed within 9 days as they promised despite it being around the holidays. Quick service to the point and priced within market. I would recommend Arek and will use them again for a home i just purchased.

Arek was very responsive and proactive in trying to identify exactly what we needed so we wouldn't have to pay for unnecessary stuff. In our case, it later turned out that we didn't need the survey after all but I should say that in all contacts Arek followed up promptly and has helpful.

When I requested the signed elevation certificate with the seal, I was told it would be emailed to me and the original had been mailed the day before. I received the email with the signed elevation certificate but no seal. I sent another email explaining that I needed the elevation certificate to be resent to me with the seal as I needed it for my closing which was two days later. I never received a response or the original in the mail. I was still able to close on my home so that's why I stated I would rehire. Other than not receiving the mailed original certificate, the service was good.

No work done

Unlike some other companies I tried to contact (during what i think may have been a busy time for all of them), AREK responded to emails, got back to me by phone, scheduled the work, surveying technicians came and did it, and they got me the elevation certificate in a few days time. Surveyors were courteous, efficient, obviously taking care to get essential heights, depths, &c.

We spoke a lot on Friday and he wanted me to send him an email requesting his services, so I did. I wanted to find out where the property line is. He said that he could give me a document telling me where it is but I would have to call them back and have them explain it to me. That's when I realized I would have to be running after him to get an answer since he had no financial obligation to me. He did return my call that Saturday afternoon but ultimately it did not seem like he had the time for my project.

Very responsive and professional on the phone. I faxed the company an old survey and was given an estimate of $1100.00. I decided to go with my lawyer's recommendation, a company that charged $950 for the same type of survey.
