When I say this is indisputably the worst company I have ever done business with, this is not in the least bit an exaggeration. There is not a scale of stars or numbers low enough to rate them on. Saving as many people as possible from the same utterly abominable experience I had dealing with Window Town puts a smile on my face knowing I bettered someone's life, if only through deterring them from using this company. Below I have provided a timeline that highlights every interaction I had with Window Town from start to finish of the job I contracted them for so you can judge for yourself if it is worthwhile giving this inherently mismanaged business your hard-earned money. 5 windows. 397 days. 6/30/21 - An estimator came to my house to measure windows and calculate a job total for 2 double-hung and 3 basement windows. 7/12/21 - I placed the order for the job and paid a $900 deposit on the total due of $1,800. 8/5/21 - An installer came out for secondary window measurements. 11/30/21 - After having been told the lead time for my installation was 10-12 weeks maximum, 4 out of the 5 windows I had ordered are installed (though little to no site cleanup was provided for these windows) 22 weeks later. The installers shatter the 5th and final (basement) window trying to install it. I was told the order for the broken window would be expedited with a 2-3 week lead time and that we would not be charged for the job until that one was installed. 12/3/21 - With no notice whatsoever, $641 was withdrawn from my checking account for the balance of the 4 out of the 5 windows installed. When I contacted Window Town about this, they told me the funds had to be withdrawn as payment was unable to be completed at time of installation of the 4 out of 5 windows despite there never having been an opportunity afforded to me to pay, and on the contrary the installer telling me I would not be charged until the entirety of the job was completed. It was at this point Window Town told me their installers were 3rd party contractors and had no right to tell me that. 2/11/22- An appointment was made for the final window installation to take place on the following Friday. 2/18/22 - Never having received any type of confirmation for my appointment, I called Window Town the morning of only to discover the window they were supposed to be installing that day had been cracked while in the warehouse and the installation would have to be further pushed out to a new date. There was no new date given for installation. 4/22/22 - After several phone calls since February 18th inquiring about the status of my window, I was contacted and told installers would be available to come put my final window in on that coming Friday. 4/29/22 - The installers showed up with an incorrectly sized window, missing chain and latches, necessary hardware for installation. I called to follow up with Window Town about this and make sure I was not charged. 6/30/22 - I called to inquire about the status of the final window installation and was told my order had been placed on April 29th at 1:43PM but that they would not have it from the manufacturer until an estimated date of July 15th. 7/29/22 - Having heard nothing in regards to setting up an installation appointment or an update on the status of my final window to be installed I called and left a message inquiring about such. My call was returned and an appointment was scheduled for late morning/early afternoon Monday, August 1st to install my final window. 8/1/22 - The final basement window is installed and the remaining balance of $259 is paid. This review is entirely factual and I have correspondences to prove such. At no point during this transaction was there anpology extended or any type of discount or money back offered to help compensate for the multiple inconveniences of scheduling and rescheduling installation dates and times and the extremely long wait period for this job to be completed. In summary, steer clear of this company at all costs. Be warned.

BEWARE...Window Town LLC of Utica installed 5 windows for us over a year ago and the finished work looked like children or incompetent handy men did the job. They walked in our home with wet shoes, smoked cigarettes on the outside of our home while installing the windows, disgusting to the point I had to take my infant son out of the house for a drive. Trim work fell off the windows, our moldings and casings were completely destroyed, scratched windows flawed upon arrival, a tear in the screen and calking was absolutely amateur. I was told the job was finished and to sign a little ipad, not being told what I was signing after they initialed and checked off all the boxes they deemed necessary themselves NOT ME. The work was noticeably terrible and they just left. We fought them on the payment over the last year as we did not feel we should pay for such horrible work. The bank even told us to cancel the check which I paid for out of pocket to be cancelled as the job was incomplete. Tom would call and text us inappropriately, harassing me and sometimes late at night, seemingly in an altered state of mind. Finally it got so bad that he actually apologized for his behavior said that he would explain to his guys why they would not be paid for the "Shotty" work and he went away which I have in writing as well. We thought it was resolved until we looked at our bank statement this past weekend , to find that they had taken our previous payment information and made the rest of the payment on our behalf and included an extra "fee". The owner, David Perkins is well aware and yet refuses to contact us directly and make this right or even acknowledge the wrong doing on this matter, continually pointing out that we signed off on the work. Taunting us to take him to court so he can "vigorously defend this case." David Perkins the fact that you offer a reply like this which has no credible fact to any of it just goes to show everyone on here how completely incompetent and unprofessional you are as a business owner. 1. My window Molding on our home are not 100 years old as our home is not that old. The contract signed was before work was performed and no mention about extra cost or "new wood" was disclosed or we would have opted to do that. The terrible work shown has nothing to do with the wood on our home. That is your work mens performance. 2. My bank advised as well a BBB to cancel the check also disclosed to Tom. I paid A bank a fee to cancel the check. I have never in my life been delinquent or made a payment with insufficient funds to any business or creditor. 3. You took it upon yourselves over one year later to retrieve funds from my personal credit card information originally used to place the deposit to pay for an incomplete and unacceptable job with no receipt or any communication to me, The last conversation I had with Tom Swift that I sent to you which clearly you never took the time to read was that he apologized for harassing me and being disrespectful and unprofessional and claimed he would need to explain to his crew why he would not be compensating them for their "Shotty" That they would take the original $950 payment and it would be done. Maybe you should know what is going on and communicate better with your "Management and employees" and you would know what was agreed upon but I suspect that you don't care about any negative reviews or quality of work performed or give a **** about the business you own and it is evident from all of the negative terrible reviews that have come before and after us which I have also taken the time to document. 4. I have begged and pleaded as a good human being with your management and now you to please call me personally and come to a resolution on refunding or at least fixing this job (also documented) which you have offered zero resolution, compassion or care to any of.
