Description of Work: Talked to "Rosco" on phone. He asked for my phone number and address and said he would stop that evening to look at my roof. Never showed up, never called.

Description of Work: I contacted this provider for an estimate on my mother's roof.

Description of Work: Showed up to give an estimate when I wasn't home. I had to call him for the price, because he never called me back. He said he called twice, he may have tried once, but didn't recognize the number. I questioned the type of roof he recommended since my research recommended a rubber roof and he said shingles were fine. He said he'd do that if I really wanted it.

Description of Work: We first contacted another company, and were given a quote based on a "walk-around" of the house. We then contacted Roscoe's, and Sal Velardi (the owner) gave us an estimate based on a "walk-around" from on top of the house. He gave us a good idea of what he thought was important, followed by an estimate. Since we were leaving on vacation before he could get to our job, we mentioned that we had a leak in the ceiling of our kitchen. So prior to our leaving on vacation, Sal came out and repaired the problem so that we wouldn't worry while we were away, which we thought was very considerate. On our return, the roof had been completed, and there was no damage done to the landscaping or house. Our house is a two-story colonial with a single story sunroom with skylights on the back, and an attached garage.His tasks included: Install architect shingles over existing roof on the house proper. Remove existing shingles on the sunroom and replace with the architect shingles, after installing ice and water shield over the roof. Remove cupola from the top of the garage, fill in with plywood, and install a ridgevent. Flash skylights (which had been leaking in the winter). Install shingles over the ridgevents on all roofs. Haul away debris.

Description of Work: Old shingles striped off. 8 foot off wood taken off on about 55 ft of roof from eve up as to insulate area above knee ceilings. Ice and water dam put on all roofs from eve up. Ice and water dam in all valleys, 15lb felt on rest of roof. New 2in drip edge all around. New flashing on chimneys. Life time shingles installed. All siding was removed where roof contacted siding, and ice and water dam put on then siding put back on.

Description of Work: I had an insurance job that needed to be addressed after a recent storm left many many shingles blown off of my home's roof. Of the four roofing companies that I called, Roscoe's was the only one that showed up the day I called for an estimate. Sal Velardi, the owner, was very punctual with his appointments. The three other companies that I called , two of them called the following week, and the fourth never returned my call. I ended up going with Roscoe's Roofing Construction based primarily from "word-of-mouth" from my brother-in-law who is a building superintendant for a large apartment complex in the area. He stated to me that Roscoe's is his primary roofer because the job gets done right. The owner is "hands-on" and doesn't supervise the job from the pick-up truck. Sal was right up on the roof directing his crew and making suggestions. I appreciated that very much. Additionally, my brother-in-law, said that some of the other roofers will go out to lunch and come back after a few beers which was evident in the quality of the work. Roscoe's crew was not even allowed to have a beer at the end of the job when I offered it to them when the roof was complete. They all took the non-alcoholic drinks with a passion though. I was impressed with this, as it reflected on the company's professionalism. The work was completed as rapidly as the weather allowed. I am100% satisfied with the results. They swept up the roof, cleaned all the debris, moved things out of the way that may have been damaged. Above all, it appeared they took safety very serious to me. They always looked around to see if it was safe to toss the debris from the roof to the dumpster trailer below. I was glad of that as my dogs were in and out of the house in nervous panic from the noise of the construction.

Description of Work: I had some flashing on the peak of my roof that blew off in a wind storm. The peak is 70' high and these guys got up there and fixed it. Most other companies would not even bother since it was a small job.
