He took weeks to schedule the work. I have no problem with the guys working. The owner gave me a price and when I got the bill it was doubled. Very unprofessional and no integrity. The guys arrived with the truck full of debris. The first time they were here less than 2 hours. I was charged for the debris to be dumped that was from elsewhere. The second time the guys came, it was the same situation -- truck was full of debris from someone else. I was charged $200 for dumping. They never finished the work and the bill I received was twice the amount quoted. Mr. Witcomb has no integrity and is unprofessional. Get someone else. Would never use him again. Total of two times crew arrived was a total of one day's work. No notice was ever given prior to men arriving. They just showed up unexpectedly. One time at the end of the day they came. Second time arrived after 11 A.M. and left by 5 P.M.

The gentleman came to my house on a Saturday morning (which I appreciated) and was on time. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable in plants, shrubs and trees. He spent approx 1/2 hr on my property and then told me that he would send me an estimate that Monday or Tuesday. By Thursday I had still not heard from him and called his office. A young lady told me that he had left for the day, took down my information and told me that she would have him call me the next day. This Saturday will be two weeks and I never received a single correspondence. Customer Service is the biggest indication of  how a Company treats its customers and a direct reflection on their work ethic. I certainly do not have the expectation that a Company is mandated to quote every job but I do believe that they should have the courtesy to contact a Customer when they decline a quote. In my case I spent $10,000 to have a new paving stones walkway placed in my backyard this week and had wanted it to be coordinated with new landscaping. I waited because of this companies ratings on Angies List and now will have lost valuable time in the process. I am very disappointed but relieved that I found out now rather than after retaining their services.

We contacted Witcomb Landscaping on June 6, 2014. We were contacted the following day. The gentleman Tom came by within a couple of days and left us a reasonable proposal. We were out of town for a few days and contracted their service when we came back. Tom came back to meet with us on the following Monday to discuss any details, and told us our work would commence in 7 - 10 days. Two days later we received a message that the landscaping crew would come today (6/19/14). Three men showed up to do the work and they worked very efficiently and was finished in a timely manner. They were very polite gentlemen. They did a beautiful job with our lawn. We are very pleased with their service. I would definitely recommend Robert Witcomb Landscaping to anyone.

The owner himself was on the job with his workers and his equipment. A very pleasant man and very hard working. It's a rareity to see an owner doing a lot of the work himself!

They are very professional. They are aware and they use organic things, which is very unusual. They are very responsive to phone calls and question or information. Their prices are quite reasonable.

THEY DO A JOB OF CUTTING MY LAWN AND MY LAWN LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. THEY SHOW UP ON TIME AND CLEAN UP THE GRASS CLIPPINGS OF MY SIDEWALKS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM FOR LAWN MOWING NEEDS.
