+ -1 moreCarmelo is a genuine artist and his workmanship is first rate. Thirty years ago his Father and Uncle had custom built all the cabinets and the center island in our great room kitchen as well as our laundry room. He reimagined the space and updated the appearance while improving the quality of materials throughout. His work is far superior to his ancestors and we are proud to have the honor of having had him replace their work. Compared to estimates received from Williams we saved a considerable amount and got true custom work as opposed to their factory made cabinets that would have had to be modified on site to accommodate our beamed ceilings and unusual angles. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Carmelo's Cabinet Shop to anyone who appreciates quality and fine workmanship. Due to the nature of the work it is not done quickly, so patience and understanding will be a requirement, but will be rewarded with artistry that exceeds your expectations. This is the second project he has done for us and we are pleased with the result once again.

We would highly recommend Carmelo to people who appreciate fine woodworking and accept the amount of skill and time required to accomplish perfection.

+ -1 moreTerrible experience, this person is not to be relied on. Steer clear.
Description of Work: Provider was to custom fabricate and install kitchen counter tops (Silastone). The date promised was May 15, 2010. The provider has missed every promised date to complete the work, and either does not answer the phone or gives misleading information about the completion. As of this date, another promised completion date has come and gone, and I have no idea when or if the counter tops will be finished and installed.

Description of Work: The above cost was for the custom made cabinets alone but the total cost was greater due to the electrical, plumbing, tilework, ductwork, etc.for the total gut and renovation of our kitchen. Carmello takes control of all aspects and is the contractor that takes care of buying appliances, hardware, etc. His associate, Alejandro, is a gem who does the elecrical hook-up, plumbing, etc. It was a total pleasure to have Carmello take care of all the business, while deferring to your tastes and wishes; you are the boss when it comes to what you want but he will give you his expertise and experience and exactitude; you will be happy beyond your expectations; after a tragic addition to our house that had so many problems, it was a total pleasure to have had this timely and wonderful journey (especially with such precise and beautiful woodwork).
