We contracted with Bill Lund (WL Paving and Plowing) to replace and widen our driveway to allow us to fit two cars. While filling the driveway with crush to build the foundation, a family friend happened to come by the house. This friend happens to be a civil engineer. He advised us it was his opinion the crush foundation being built would be insufficient to support the driveway. We discussed this with Mr. Lund. Mr. Lund assured us of his experience and expertise and assured us the driveway would have sufficient support. He assured us he does business with integrity and offered us a 7 year guarantee. Because of the guarantee, we proceeded with the driveway construction through Mr. Lund and WL. After completion of the driveway, we were unable to fit our cars easily. We measured the driveway and realized Mr. Lund had not built the driveway to the contracted width. He did return and fixed the work to provide the agreed upon width. At this time I wrote the mistake off as an honest mistake. Within two years, we started to see depressions in the driveway of abnormal depth. I contacted Mr. Lund to inform him. He agreed to come out to the house. He did not show. I called him again and again he agreed to come by the following week. As I work from home, scheduling was not an issue. He never showed. I was not able to contact him again. For the past 18 months he has not returned my calls. I have spoken with his receptionist on multiple occasions who has assured me he would call me back. He has not done so. I am in the process of filing a claim in small claims court. DO NOT USE THIS MAN OR THIS BUSINESS.

We are extremely dissatisfied with this contractor's work. We contracted with them to replace our driveway with the proper slope so water would run away from our foundation and garage. Their work was obviously not addressing our problem from the start. Our goal was made perfectly clear from the very beginning. They did not slope the driveway to correct the flow of water as was clearly and repeatedly requested. Water is still running towards the house and into the garage. Instead of doing the work correctly to begin with they tried to correct their mistake by gouging a trench in front of the garage. Not only does this look bad, it still doesn't allow the water to drain properly. To correct their inept work, and complete the job they were hired to do, they would have to rip out the driveway and begin again. We questioned the work they were doing throughout the process but they kept insisting that they understood what we needed done and how to do it. They obviously did not know what they were doing. On top of not fixing our water problem, the edges of the driveway started cracking and breaking up within the first year. The contractor refused to correct his shoddy workmanship by repairing the edges.
