+ -1 moreAll service went extremely well. The first call to TAP was an emergency and he came early the following Saturday. No problem. The second call, outlined above, was taken care of ASAP (about 3 days later) and other work was performed in addition to solving the original problem for the call. All steps of the work were thoroughly explained.
Description of Work: Traced through every outlet and wall or ceiling-mounted light fixture to find the reason a circuit breaker could not be turned back on. The house is very old and the wiring is challenging. Additionally, wiring that was poorly connected, drooping, covered with paint and peeling, was replaced in the basement laundry room and a new circuit breaker was installed to replace an inappropriate one. Outside work to be done in the spring was thoroughly talked through, planned out and pre-arranged.

Description of Work: Installed 220+V in laundry room to accommodate electric dryer. He installed a new box, ran cable through basement and connected it to the fuse box. It took approximately 2 hours, and then he hooked up my dryer.

He started the work within just a few days. He arrived promptly when he said he would, did the job quickly and efficiently - even eating his lunch while working - and cleaned up the area when he finished. All in all I was very satisfied and would definitely hire Joe again.

+ -1 moreTook a little while getting started on job, however the Christmas holidays were between estimate and start of project. Proved to be an excellent, prompt, pleasant, courteous, neat contractor. All jobs completed are excellent.
Description of Work: Upgraded electrical system from 100 to 200 amp, from fuses to circuit breakers, installed fixture and chandelier, ran circuit for microwave and garbage disposal.
