I wanted a specific high quality window replacement for 12 windows and was charged $1,000 per window. The windows I got installed were American Craftsman windows. I am hoping they last 15 years. Not the 30+ year window I paid for. The other $4000 was to take out windows and the seal over the openings. There was no insulation in these openings and the siding posies was not sealed. I had to pay someone to seal them later and that's how I found out there was no insulation. During the window replacement Henry told me I would hear air around the windows and I told him he absolutely needed to use insulation. I used him because of a friend of a friend said he really needed the work and was "honest".

I requested contact for an estimate twice and never received a reply. It is a small bath remodel so maybe they considered not worth the time or they were just too busy.

My floors are gorgeous and the tile work in my bathroom is so beautiful. I loved every aspect of their work and professionalism. I would definitely use him again and again, and recommend him to all my friends and co-workers. Great Job Henry thanks!

We decided to spruce up our kitchen. We also had a few little things to fix like the worn caulking in bathrooms and a bedroom door that was no longer latching. Henry Gagnon came a few days after we called to give estimate. He provided suggestions for the tiling and recommendations for where to go to pick out the tile. We were very happy with the place, picked out the tile. Henry came back right away to measure. He ordered the tiles. About three weeks later they were here doing the work. The area in kitchen had many outlets and other things to cut around. They did a great job. All the guys were very professional. They cleaned up before leaving. We are very happy with the work. It looks like a new kitchen.

We had some ideas about what we wanted to do with our basement, but Mr. Gagnon immediately offered many helpful suggestions based on his years of doing similar work for other people. It was a good working relationship where we'd tell him what we were thinking of doing. He'd some suggestions which would stimulate our thinking and this would go back and forth until we arrived at something that was a better design than what we had started with. For example, our initial idea of how to partition the basement ended up with large glass French door with glass panels on either side that both give us the sound partition that we wanted to separate a TV room from a game room while visually preserving a desired openness about space. I have already discussed having Gagnon and Sons come back in the summer to do some other work. The crew who worked on our house were very nice, punctual and made every effort not to make a mess of other areas of the house by tracking dust etc... elsewhere.

It was okay. I would not recommend them. The work staff is good but it is young and inexperienced. They made lots of mess and my wife and I did a lot of cleaning after them. I would say it took a little longer than we thought it would take. They didn’t know about electrical as they are not electricians. Considering they were inexperienced it took away a lot of professionalism.

R &R fixtures, lighting fixtures. Painted, tiled the floors. New trim. Everything done the way I wanted. They recommended Colonial Plumbing on Railroad Ave in Colonie. I was very pleased with the cabinetry I chose. Nice quality and finish. Gagnon's picked up the fixtures and cabinets at Colonial; no hassle.

It went very good. They're very reliable. They were very easy to work with. They did the job in a timely manner. We used them for a second time.

They were nice to have in the house, everything was don properly and no complaints. They showed up when they said they would, everything was great. I would absolutely use them again.

Henry was great to work with. He provided a reasonably detailed bid, showed up when he said he would, and did good work. He is willing to let the homeowners do whatever part of the work they can handle. And he was helpful in ordering light fixtures for us to get a builder discount.
