Streeter's Appliance Service

I called the service on Friday and the owner of this business said he would be here by 10:30, after his first appointment. He called when he was on his way, fixed my dryer and was on his way before 10:00. He was professional, thorough, provided some tips on keeping the dryer in good running condition and even helped me clean behind the machines after they were pulled out from the wall. YES, I would call him again when needed.

It went great. I called around 9 am, he said he'd be there around 1130, he came about 10:50. Called before he was coming which is excellent. Finished before 11:15 and my oven is working great. Price was great. I am very happy. Very nice and professional.

Don was awesome! Very personable, down to earth, prompt, and fairly priced. Fixed my washer in time for the long weekend - spending my time enjoying the great weather vs. stuck in a Laundromat!

Super fair price, informative. He came out at a later date to fix a front loading washer and excellent service again.

He came in about 4 hours after I called and did the work in about half an hour. He was professional and knowledgable. I recommend him to any unending Laundry appliance repairs or need work on stove or dishwasher/ disposal.

Don Streeter was very professional and friendly. He handled the washer like a violin, like he could do it in his sleep. He is sociable, nice, and explains what he is doing, and how to help myself in the future, as well as preventive activities to engage in. He automatically did little things, like mount a new drain filter bag, without even thinking about it. I really like this guy's demeanor and talent. He is a really good contractor/repairman.

He is Honest and Professional. Enough said.

One of the best appliance repair experiences I've ever had. Noticed that the dryer didn't seem to be drying properly on a Friday evening. Checked it again on Saturday morning and confirmed it was not getting hot and staying hot. Checked Angie's List and came across Mr. Streeter's service. Called him with the expectation that I'd have to schedule something the following week. He said he had a commitment earlier in the morning, but could stop by before noon. He did, immediately deduced the problem, had the spare parts, and completed the repair (it's apparently a relatively common problem - weakened coils in the gas valve) in probably about 30 minutes. Same day repair at total cost of $87. Can't beat that.

He took out the pump and drum and cleared it of obstacles.

I called Don on Monday morning and arranged for a time for him to come look at my washer which started leaving my clothes soaked. We set up a time on Thursday and he arrived on time and was able to figure out I needed a part that he ordered and had ready on Friday and came back to install it. He had my washer up and running in about 10 minutes! He was super pleasant and knowledgable and would have no hesitations in calling him again. He also stands behind all his work for 30 days. I washes clothes tonight and they came out perfect!

I'm so happy I called Streeter's! He scheduled our appt around my work schedule, got to my house right on time and completed the job in less than 20 minutes. He even showed me what the issue was and why the stove stopped working. Plus, I had just purchased a dehumidifier for my basement and couldn't get it started. He took a quick look and helped me with that as well...free of charge. (I tried to pay him extra for that, but he refused.) He's a stand-up guy who's good at is craft and someone I'm definitely going to call again.

I called Don at 1:45 on a Wednesday and explained to him what was going on with my oven. He was able to diagnose the issue over the phone and was at my house in 15 minutes. He was polite and worked quickly and efficiently to repair my oven in less than a half hour. I would absolutely call him again and refer him to my family and friends,

Great Service: seemed honest and affordable. He was called to repair our gas stove/oven, but assessed it and told my wife that it wasn't worth fixing because it is too old; cheaper to buy a used one. Then he assessed our broken dryer unplanned and fixed it for about $95 out the door. We thought it would cost at least $300.

After our basement flooded Don came out to check our appliances per the advice of our insurance company. He looked over everything and advised us regarding the need to repair or replace these items. He arrived as he stated he would and was very thorough.

Called Don on a Wednesday, and he was here and on time at 8:00 AM on Thursday. Asked me for the model # of my oven when I first called, so he brought the part with him when he came. Was done with the job at 8:20.

Called Don in the morning, he was at my house at the specified time in the afternoon. Got straight to work and replaced the part (had one in his tool box). Stove works like new. Also asked if he could look at our dryer while he was here. Did so happily. Will be here in two days to fix dryer. Both repairs together cost less than for one at the big box stores. Would recommend to my own mother.

I called Streeter's Appliance Service mainly because they were close. Mr. Streeter arrived promptly the next morning, and informed us that the motor was the problem, and with the machine being over 25 years old, no parts other than the motor were available. He suggested a couple of different brands to replace it with, and offered to install the new one. The day after the new one was delivered, Mr. Streeter was there promptly at 8:00 AM to remove the old one (not a textbook case) and install the new one. He even offered to replace the disposal switch which was cracked during the process, at no charge, since we couldn't determine whether it was cracked previously or not. I will definitely be using Mr. Streeter in the future for any appliance issues.

He was right on time, which was great! He went right to work as soon as he got there. He opened the front of the washer and explained everything to us, which I really appreciated. It turns out our washer just needed to be reset, he showed us how to do that ourselves for the future. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will be calling him in the future and have already told people to go to him for anything that needs to be repaired!
