I had a really great experience with Mike Murphy. He was EXTREMELY responsive, came in with a fantastic bid, and clearly explained what all was required. I always get 3 bids for major work, so I was very confident with the content of the bid. Mike got it all done on time. He took great pictures (I'm a remote owner) of not only his work, but a lot of other components of the home I hadn't had a chance to inspect in detail. He offers a great warranty, and the inspection passed with flying colors. I'd recommend Mike to anyone. He's a good guy.

we called initially for the installation of several outside lights. When Mike Murphy came he discovered the cracked outside cable that was leaked water into our circuit box. He did a complete inspection and provided an estimate. Within a few days he had workers at our home. It took two days to complete all the work. We needed to have them come about a week later to replace several outlets that initially did not appear to be a problem. Justin and Brady were wonderful, respectful, professional and a pleasure to have in my home. I would highly recommend this company. Mike Murphy is responsive, returns phone calls and I believe fair with is pricing.

Called Roy's to see if they could wire a AprilAire furnace humidifier and clean our furnace...When technician arrived he told me he was not familiar with wiring humidifiers and was only going to clean furnace. He did take pictures and was going to have someone contact me to help...After a couple days have not heard back I contacted Roy's to lodge a complaint. I was told it would be forwarded to a supervisor...I did get a call from I guess another tech you tried to talk me the instructions over the phone but was hard to understand since I was at work and did not have the wiring schematic available to me. I have contacted another contractor to come out and take care of...This now will take another day of leave to be available at home. I will not be using Roy's in the future or would recommend them..

I called many electricians for this job that I needed done and Mike was by far the most professional of them all. I was moving and the inspector required us to do this work before we sold the house. Mike came and told us exactly what needed to be done. He was the only guy who followed up with a quote. That made the decision easy for me and I hired him the next day. Two guys came out and did the work quickly and professionally. No mess I don't know what it is with electricians but at least Twin City was courteous and prompt and I will use them again in the future..

This was a big deal purchase and it was not good. The owner came out and advised me on how to accomplish the task. It did not work out well. He did not advise me properly and then when his workers came out to do the job they did not have the stuff necessary because I bought what he told me but it was not specific to what they needed. I told them nothing got done and I wasted a lot of time going shopping for stuff. They told me a truck rollout costs a certain amount and that they would give me another 45 minutes. Well, what can get done in 45 minutes? If the work would have been done the price would have been fair.

. 2 man crew showed up and got busy. explained questions. acted proffessionaly. didnt mess around and left no litter.

They performed the work quickly and professionally. when I noticed that we missed a switch mike had the crew come out quickly to replace it. his crew is friendly and courteous.

Fabulous job! The owner is very courteous as were the gentlemen who came and did the job. They were all very professional and very neat. Both the owner and the electricians were happy to answer any questions we had. We would definitely use this company again and we would definitely recommend Twin City Electrical to other people!

Twin City Electric did a fantastic job! Mike was quick to meet me for an estimate, the estimate was thorough and quickly provided. The quoted work was less than a well known big competitor construction company in the Buffalo area. Mike and his team were on time, they were conscientious, and performed their work quickly and expertly. I am very happy with the work they performed, and I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

Mr. Murphy was very nice, explained what he was doing and left all information on devices. Also gave a 2-year service warranty. Job was done quickly with little disruption.

The process went well throughout. Mike Murphy was responsive, submitted a detailed estimate, and was patient with last minute questions. The service upgrade went exactly as he estimated and was handled professionally throughout. The inspector was impressed with the work he evaluated at the end. I would recommend them completely.

On time, personable, friendly. All they do is electrical. Other firms got too big and forgot customer service. Will use Twin City again.

Great! Mike knew we needed the job done quickly and I was scheduled right away. The job only took a few hours! Reasonable pricing too!

He fixed the overload problem that day and wrote a receipt only for that service. He was also very honest about the knob and tube wiring. He told us that it had not been disturbed and was currently intact. However, if he started service on ANY of it, he would have to replace all of it because it is not currently up to code. So he was kind enough to give us an answer we could tell our buyer, but he was also honest enough that he prevented us from doing thousands of dollars of work.

They couldn't figure out the problem and they were not very helpful at all. They sent a really young kid out who like had gotten his license and he couldn't figure out what was a fairly simple problem. It was something to do with the toilet. I think it was a particular mechanism on the toilet that wasn't acting right and he couldn't quite figure out what to do.

The owner came out the week before to look at a circuit that would not reset and some light switches that were not functioning properly. While inspecting the panel he noted its age and the unavailability of parts. We were aware that the service should be upgraded as we had other quotes from about 5+ years ago. He was thorough and fully explained what would be involved and provided an immediate quote. The quote seemed reasonable. Based upon past quotes it was higher, but we were also having some additional outlet and light switch work done. We agreed and he scheduled the work for a week later. We received a confirmation call from the office the day before they were to arrive. The two workers arrived at the scheduled time. They were friendly and explained what they were going to do, what they needed to see and the expected time frames. They set to work. They were neat, orderly and appeared to concentrate closely on their work ? a good quality for electricians. The installation required moving the height of the electrical box on the outside of the house as well as installing a new riser (the pipe that goes through the roof that the electrical wires attach to from the telephone/electric poles). This required drilling large holes through the roof and overhang. They were meticulous in this process as our overhangs are vinyl covered so they were careful to cut the hole as precisely as possible and carefully finished the flashing and sealing of the riser on the roof. As a side note, another contractor that was at our house later wanted to know who did our electrical installation as they remarked what good work had been done on the riser install ? they said they see a lot of sloppy jobs, but this one was very professional. At one point the lead electrician came to us and said that in the install of the new main service wire into the house, the outer casing had been nicked. He said that he felt it was best to replace it even though a patch of the plastic coating is the acceptable remedy. He said that the longevity of replacement wire versus a patch was more assured, but they would have to come back the next morning to do that replacement, which they did, and at the appointed time. At the end of the first day, they cleaned up everything, all of the wire bits and casings where the new panel was installed, all of the wires and old parts outside. Then they also went room by room and tested all of the outlets to identify which circuit they were on and did a detailed labeling of our new panel. We would highly recommend them. They were professional, they were knowledgeable, they worked steady and deliberately, they cleaned up, they showed up when they said they would, they took the time to explain the new panel and as mentioned above, they were competitively priced.

Electrician showed up within an hour of the call. He traced the problem with a GFI in the bathroom to having multiple GFI's on the same circuit and one branch of the circuit going to an outside receptacle that was faulted. I would never have found that on my own. He fixed all of the GFI's so that only one was the reset and replaced the outside receptacle.

He was polite but I felt that anything would take more than 3 hr deal.

The service was not good. We did not get the problem resolved that we wanted fixed at least one of the them. The main reason was they haven't come out and that never got done. They fixed some outside plugs for us, we used them once and it broke again. They didn't seem to be very good. I think they spent extra time but they did not get it done.

Very punctual, very knowledgeable and professional. Price was 1/2 of what competitor quoted when they were at my house doing other work. I would recommend 100%. Did a perfect job.

Very friendly and help full. Wrote out a 2yr warranty. Came on a saturday morning.

The bathroom fan is a beloved one; older style with a heat lamp which is loved in the winter; hard to find to replace; they repaired the fan an cleaned it up while doing so. Just wonderful ! The porch light had been damaged by ice damning of our bitter winter, they took out bad unit & gave it to me while I went to the store they told me carried a comparable control unit. I came back and they installed the new unit...LIGHTS & FAN WORK!! Both guys were very good, and efficient and I look forward to calling them again as soon as I select a new kitchen light fixture. Two thumbs up, super, really a good company.

My big deal was for $149.00 for 3 hours of electrician services. I was informed ahead of time that I would have two people for 1 1/2 hours which was fine. They arrived promptly, set to work and communicated promptly any problems they encountered. They finished within the specified period and I am very pleased with the work that was done.
