 + -1 moreSince just about everything in my house was tinkered with by DIYer type previous owners, I wasn't surprised when the work turned out to require more than "just" replacing the circuit breaker, panel and the service line. But Mike was great, gave me a great price and kept me apprised of any developments. When I hire someone to do work, I look for someone who knows what they are talking about, does quality work, doesn't skimp, and stands by their work and actually seems interested in doing the work, and doesn't talk down to me. Not only did Twin City Electrical fit the bill, but he also happened to have the best price. Additionally, his workers cared not just about getting the job done, but also making sure it looked great and they cleaned up well after themselves.
Description of Work: Water was dripping out of my circuit breaker. In the end, the panel was replaced, the breakers, new service line was run, the meter was moved and another switch added, and a carbon monoxide detector was hardwired in.

 + -1 moreExcellent! The owner made plans for workers to come out to my house first thing Monday morning (my issue happened on Friday). This was highly satisfactory as I was not available for a same day visit. The two electricians that came to my house were very professional. They went to work as soon as they were able to get from me exactly what had happened. They found the problem quickly, fixed it, and cleaned up. I will definitely use this company again and recommend them to everyone.

Description of Work: I used Roy's Plumbing in October 2016. I needed a water heater replaced. We had a flood in the basement and they came out very very quickly and cleaned everything up and brought us the new one.

 + -1 moreI was told I would need to have an additional new breaker box installed to add one outlet. Also, because the electrician arrived more than an hour and a half late (he finally showed up about 5 minutes until 5pm), he told me he didn't know what the problem with the existing outlet was but he ends his day at 5 so he had no time to to look at it. Basically, he told me I could pay him to come back out to install the additional breaker box with a new outlet and then he would try to see what the problem might be.
Description of Work: I needed a new outlet and had another with an electrical problem.

That was a huge difference compared to other vendors I had invited to quote who ballparked a number and didn't provide any specifics. Secondly, he and his crew completed the project ahead of schedule. He's also scheduled city inspection, and I am very pleased with the detail and quality of his work!

 + -1 moreI called on a Friday to ask for an estimate, and Mike was able to stop by on the following Monday. He was very friendly and professional and did a great job of explaining the work that needed to be done. I got a call back the next day with an estimate, and they were able to schedule me for the job that same Wednesday. The electricians who did the work were just as pleasant to work with as Mike and did a great job -- they were in and out in just a couple of hours and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. The whole process was completely painless. If I ever need electrical work done again, I will definitely be giving them a call.
Description of Work: Install grounded electrical outlet at TV and grounded quad outlet at office on 15A arc fault protected breaker. Install washer/dryer outlet on dedicated 20A GFI protected breaker. GFI protect all outlets in living room, bedrooms, and office.
