Description of Work: Called for service at approximately 5:30 for an emergency water leak. Office said they would be here between 8:00 and 10:00 p.m. At 8::00 they called and said they wouldn't be here until after midnight. We could have called someone else had they told us that at 5:30. Will never call them again.

Second contract was for additions to electrical service - outlets, outside lights, ceiling fans. Third project was for electrical of fireplace and communications for TV system. Description of Work: Replaced old fuse box, outdated breaker box and necessary relocation of electrical meters to outside of house. The job went fine. There were some unforeseen glitches which the owner, Mike Murphy, responded to very promptly. The glitches were no fault of Twin City (unpredictable, old wiring issues and requirements of National Grid). Overall very satisfied.

Description of Work: They installed a new plug for our microwave, installed the range hood upstairs, installed and wired a new outlet in the bathroom, re-wired the light in the bathroom, re-ran wire for the light switch for the bathroom, ran ductwork and installed a new bathroom fan (including a hole for the ductwork), and installed a new light in the shower that was not there before. The fan came with the service as well as the light in the shower. | |Mike came on time, brought me coffee, texted me when I couldn't get to my phone in a timely fashion or I was extremely busy to talk on the phone. I would recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work done.

Description of Work: Updated to 220, electric line , added all new circuit breakers, listed each one. Changed over washer and dryer dedicated line,. Another dedicated line for sump pump to be completed. Beautiful flood lights for yard installed. Fixed and replaced hall light at no extra charge. The workers were professional and took their time to make it perfect. The weather was rainy and they still hung in there . Thanks mike for sending such a great crew I am satisfied .

Description of Work: Came to diagnose ac not working. Determined it was a blower motor but likely end cap that houses capacitor which is likely the real,issue but they are required to channge entire motor with end cap. well to replace the motor was 1700 or better but was suggested to just replace furnace that wenwere already at 1700 and a 2900 furnace would be better or with better warranty 4200. I wasn't shocked because I would expect an upsell but lost respect for trying to take my teeth out (expression for getting screwed) . I'm a pretty smart guy and looked up the motor and with end was 650 and i was told the install was an hour or so. pretty expensive labor from a 1700 bid.
