Description of Work: They installed a furnace (never heard of the manufacturer) for my elderly, 86 year old, aunt. The main objection I have is that they told that she needed to have her sewer line replaced from the house to the street (which would have cost her $6000) However, due to family intervention and another plumber's inspection, it was determined to be unnecessary. They oversell their services and push for additional and in this case unnecessary work.

Description of Work: I have a contract for service with Roy's, part of the contract is yearly inspection of furnace and A/C. The filter needed changing and the outside unit needed cleaning up from a bad winter. All the work was done to my satisfaction and I intend to maintain my service contract.

Description of Work: Twin City replaced the main breaker panel in my house, reworked the pole that connects to the power company (I can't remember what that's called) and installed a couple of outlets in the basement. The owner came out and gave an estimate (which is the amount I ended up paying) and described the work he would do accurately (he actually threw in the basement outlets). I think we had to reschedule our initial meeting once (there was confusion about the house address), but otherwise the owner (who did the estimate) and the crew (two employees) were professional and clean. |FWIW, I had three different Angie's listed companies bid for the job and Twin City's estimate was in the middle, and within $200 of the two other estimates. I have every confidence that Twin City (or, frankly, either of the other local businesses I contacted) would do a good job for a market price.

Description of Work: Replaced a pipe that was causing water leakage from second floor to first floor. Work was done and fixed the problem, but I think $800 + was very high for the time it took to do the work. I won't call them again, although they did respond punctually.

According to my calendar we were scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, between 2 and 3 pm. At 2 pm I arrived at [Member name removed] house. I meet [Member name removed] in her garage. I introduced myself and [Member name removed] informed me our appointment was actually scheduled for yesterday. I doubled checked my calendar on my phone in front of her and explained to her that I had it scheduled for today. I immediately apologized to her for the mixed up in scheduling and explained to her that I must of mis-understood the date or entered on the wrong date in the computer. I asked her if I could do the estimate now and she said she was tied up with a appliance delivery and her husband would also like to be here for the estimate. She told me she would call me tonight to re-schedule after she talked to her husband. I again apologized for the scheduling mixed up and would be looking forward to her call. I feel bad that [Member name removed] is un-happy with us for not being there on Tuesday but it was an honest mistake. I honestly had it scheduled for Wednesday. I was under the impression that [Member name removed] accepted my sincere apology especially when she said she would call me back to re-schedule after she conformed her husband’s schedule. [Member name removed] was very nice to talked to when I was there for the estimate on Wednesday and I know they would of been very nice to work for.

Description of Work: Installed a new line for the tenant's dryer, troubleshot the issue with the outlets not working, and ran a new line for our stand alone freezer. They were punctual, friendly, and finished on time. I would definitely go through them again. The two men that came to do the work were super awesome.
