Roy's was contracted to repair leaking sewer line for home owner was not knowledgeable in the handling of sewer gas that would be present during the sewer line repair. The job was accomplished in less than an hour. Parts cost less than $30.00. Total repair cost over $450.00 Based upon value analysis of services rendered, Roy's Plumbing gouged the consumer. The salient point was that the parts were not even gold plated!! In short, future repairs would be performed by the homeowner or other more reputable plumbing contractors.

The repair man came in and checked the entire furnace and found the problem. He was able to correct it quickly and with no additional expense. He also took the time to explain to my husband exactly what caused the fault, what to watch for in the future and what to do to correct it. Excellent service!

It was a good experience overall. I would definitely use Roy's again!!

IT was a very good experience. They have a very professional, friendly staff. They are very respectful. There was a small misunderstanding about the warranty, though.

I called Roy's for furnace cleaning as advertised. The person who came told me I needed expensive repairs. We discussed the problems and it was decided I should purchase a new furnace due to the expensive repairs. I set an appt then told him I wanted to check other prices as I was going to be spending a great deal of money. I called other companies and they all told me I didn't need a new furnace and there was nothing wrong with mine. They also told me that the furnace hadn't even been cleaned by Roy's. I called Roy's and left a message about this but was never called back. I paid for a service that was never done.

Mike Murphy, owner of the company, took copious notes as I explained what I needed done. He measured and examined all the areas, inside and out, that would be involved. He answered all of my questions confidently. Within a week he presented me with an estimate. The work was scheduled for a week and a half later. The 2 electricians were prompt, professional and answered my questions as well. I was very surprised and pleased at the care they took to be neat. They even cleaned up any mess they made! The job only took 2 1/2 hours. Before they left, they showed me that all of the outlets worked and where the new breaker was. Mr. Murphy came to check on their progress during the morning. This is my new electrician! I highly recommend this company to anyone in the western New York area.

There was nothing I disliked, they called before they cme, they gave us a quote and actually went under the quote, and they were very professional.

I DONT TRUST THEM TO DO ANY WORK .BECAUSE MY AIR CONDTIONER WORKED BEFORE THE TUNE UP.THAN TELLS ME I NEED A NEW FURNACE AND THAT IT WAS NOT SAFE TO USE .AND IF I GET ONE TODAY HE WOULD TAKE 500.00 DOLLARS OFF .I SAID I COULDNT UNTILL FALL ..HE SAID OH THAT OKI;LL GIVE YOU 500. OF IN THE FALL..THEY RIPPED ME OFF.

We ended our job with them. We were on a contract with them. They are reputable and on time. We were very pleased with them.

I was satisfied with the service. They were excellent.

We recommend the quality of their work. It’s outstanding. They are extremely neat and phenomenal. They explain everything. Before they touch anything they sit down and go over a written plan to understand their work. We sign off, on the work before they do it. They don’t leave until they go over and show us how it’s working and what they have done. The tub drain was broken today they tell us how it was broken and how they fixed it. They are just amazing. They call ahead of time and make appointment. They set a time when they are going to call and tell us roughly within a 2 hour window when a technician will come. They are professional and go over the invoices with us. They are really really high quality workers and professional plumbers.

that's all he did was find fault with my system that was 10 years old. he also told me what their cost would be to repair supposed problem i had another independant heating and air conditioning person come in who claimed he did not see any problems with my system other than it needed frion. he claimed the problems, if you can call them problems, were very, very minor. it seemed like thats all roy's was interested in was selling me a new system or major repairs

They check the hot water radiators, CO2 checks and they check all that stuff. We have a furnace contract and the plumbing is something they throw in. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for. The yearly maintenance is not super expensive. A lot of people don't charge for an estimate but they do, I think that is their company policy.

I've had them over twice. The first time they told me I needed to replace my chimney which wasn't the case. Then the second time he told me I needed to replace my air conditioner which wasn't necessary either. He was proposing service/upgrades that weren't needed. It would have been a fleecing.

I heard of them through an advertisement, they had a special going on.

They are good. They have done work for me several times. It is a bigger company in this area. Their shops are all over the place. They are very well-known here. The good thing is that we called them and they were here the next day like first thing in the morning. They said they would be here between this time and this time when they called and they were here at that time, so I was not waiting for them all day to show up. Altogether, I think I spent about $97. Their price is average from what I have seen in the area. They are always on time and they are always here when they say they are going to be here. I have never been overcharged and they have never tried to tell me to do things that I don’t need. They have always been really nice. I have had a good experience. I would use them again in the future.

I called Roy's after seeing the reviews on Angie's list because I had a backed up slow drain in my basements basin. I called them at 12:30 pm, the young lady I spoke with was very nice and cordial in telling me that she would call me a half hour before the technician would arrive. Kevin from Roy's showed up at my house by 2 pm. and was a very knowledgeable and professional service tech. I told Kevin my problems with the drain and he told me about the $99 drain cleaning special which he thought would take care of my problem. He also noticed I had a leaky gate valve and quoted me a price on that as well. After snaking the line more than once, he told me that the line was full of grease and lint. He also noticed that I had venting issues and offered to install an autovent which I declined and told him I'd deal with the venting issue and would call back if I noticed it becoming a problem down the line. I got a 6 month warranty on the pipe repair as well. I ended up spending around $250 and my drain is running great! I was very impressed and came out spending less than I absolutely thought I would.

They were pretty thorough and diagnosed the problem very well. I will use them again in the future.

I thought that they were just fine. Everything is holding up very well. Some of the workers were good and some of them were bad. I had no complications with the company.

I wasn't real impressed with the company because while they were looking at the furnace they said that this and that looked like it needed to be changed and if I did it now I wouldn't have to worry about it in the middle of winter if the furnace died on me. I felt that they were trying to sell me things that I didn't need. I didn't think they were a very honest company. They were on time. I wouldn’t use them again.

They sent the daughter-in-law of the owner, and she took too much of my time. The price was reasonable. I wasn't too pleased with her preparation and knowledge. She never put one in.

They were fine and professional. They came in and did the work, I just thought the price was a little expensive for what he had to do. I wouldn't use them in the future purely because of price.
