So after my negative review on Angie’s List, without notification,my driveway was cleaned today, 3 business days after the job. Alls well that ends well.

Excellent. They were prompt, on-time, thorough.

It went great. Two guys came for the job, I didn't get their names. They explained that they had trouble finding the issue for the living room outlet because a lot of the wiring in my house wasn't done correctly. Eventually they figured out the issue, corrected it and also showed me what the issue was and explained it for me so I could understand. They also offered to fix a separate issue that was found outside (while trying to figure out the outlet problem) but explained that it would be costly. I appreciated this because we discussed the merits of the work, whether it needed to be done, etc. They didn't try to convince me to have anything done I couldn't afford while also making sure that the wiring was safe and not a danger. As for the outlet upstairs, this was also explained to me why the second floor was receiving the power that it was. We discussed options and they ended up replacing the GFCI because a) it was extremely old and b) the reset button didn't even work anymore. I do feel the service was expensive because they were only there for 1.25 hours but, at the same time, I don't have experience in what electricians cost and I would rather pay more and feel safe than get a cheap price. When I asked another homeowner friend, they agreed. They thought the price was fair.

The job was completed as scheduled. Mike coordinated with electricity and gas companies and the town people.

From the initial contact, call back, estimate, and electricians finishing the work, it is all now DONE perfectly within 24 hours. I don't know if their schedule can always allow completion that fast, but they are definitely worth waiting for anyway! I do a lot of work around the house myself and only looked for a professional because my family was coming to visit from California in a few days, and I was running out of time. To my astonishment, as a picky know-it-all do-it-yourselfer, I have absolutely nothing to complain about! At a fair price, Twin Cities Electrical service was worth every penny. They are now the only electricians on my phone contact list, and I will call them before I even consider doing it myself. They are up to my ridiculously high standards.

I contacted mike via Angie's list .In turn he asked for my contact info phone and emailing (stating it would be easier at that point in time to contact me) . I contacted him 2 days later stating I hadn't received a message from him as of yet. My dad was into the hospital for open heart and was there from 7am till 10pm. I asked for an estimate telling him what I needed done. Left me a text via Angie's list he was going to call then. Which he did. I then sent him a note and photos clearing showing what I wanted done, to make the process a bit easier for a round about quote and his availability to do the work. Along with telling him my dad was in the hospital and was not allowed to make phone calls. Still no response. I clearly stated all that i wanted done sent clear photos told him of my situation and not being able to speak in the phone. And was dismissed by him. Where is the compassion and work ethic. Work is done quickly and efficiently. Pricing is inline and found Mike willing to work with me on reducing costs where possible, i.e. self trenching. Will hire again for additional work.

When the owner of this company came out to give me an estimate, he was very professional and knowledgeable; which made me choose this company. I am pleased that I did, as his workers did a great job today! They were very polite and respectful. They patiently answered all of my questions. My property was also left neat and clean. They didn't even charge me for replacing the light fixture. I will be hiring Twin City Electrical again, as I will be needing to have more electrical work done in the future. I am very happy with this company!

Mr. A ( I think his name was Aaron) was very knowledgeable about codes and educated me by giving detailed answers to my questions. Very Punctual, professional and fast worker.

Went very well, very professional & considerate of our time. Cleaned up & carted away the old panel, lighting fixture, cartons. Very pleasant, too. Would recommend them to friends & family.

Mike responded immediately to my service request, and scheduled an appointment. Two of his employees came to the house and were punctual, friendly and courteous. They answered my questions while making the repair, and took a look at my vacuum cleaner which had been tripping the same breaker that the dining room light was on. After they had finished, Mike called to be certain that I was happy with their work. Excellent follow-up and customer service, which has become rare!

They were amazing, prompt and profeesional. The thank you card follow up didn't hurt either!

very well, the young man was punctual and did an excellent job. He even took the old lights to the curb for us. He checked out an out side electrical out let on the porch that was giving us problems. It was a very easy fix, and he recaulked the box, no extra charge. The owner Mike Murphy called after the job was done asking if we were satisfied with the job. We highly recommend this company and will definitely use them for any electrical jobs in the future.

I called Twin City electrical based on the reviews on Angie's list. Mike, the master electrician, said he would come out and take a look at the electrical system and give me an estimate. Unfortunately, he explained everything very well, and showed that adding an outlet would be cost prohibitive, as an additional breaker box would need to be installed (ours had no further breakers available), plus there were several obstructions in the way for new wiring to get to the new breaker in the basement. He recommended buying a quality surge supressor for the electrical components, as he explained they would not draw enough power to be running on too low a voltage from one outlet. He was here about 20 minutes. Total cost? $0. I can't recommend this company enough. I asked for extra business cards to give to my friends, and to post at work. One is also on my refrigerator now.

The guys at Twin City were great. Quick response time; work was scheduled within a week. Good communication. Work was completed in less than a day. They left the house the way they found it and made sure to clean up (they even emptied the garbage can they used). They also bolted down the cover on our panel, which was not on the original estimate but was much appreciated. I would call them for future work.

The original price was $1000.00 more than any other estimate... when I pushed back on Mr Murphy about this because I felt as though he was trying to take advantage of me, and explained the buyer of my property really wanted him because she found him here on Angie's list, he came down the 1000.00 immediately, like he had overcharged to begin with The work was completed and three weeks later my tenant moved out so I could close on the property, the utilities were to be left on as it was the winter, I inspected the property and all was fine. When I went back to the property 3 days later I found out the electric had been shut off! Which in turn shut off our boilers for heat, and it was 40• in the house! When I called the electric company to get it turned back on the told me Twin City hadn't had their work inspected from the town so we could not get it turned back on. I called the owner Mike Friday and Saturday with NO response, finally on Sunday when I left and irate voicemail he called back and came to the house and said it was an oversight by his office... instead of appropriately fixing the problem, he ILLEGALLY cut off the lock out tag from National Grid, and asked us to keep it quiet. We had over $5500.00 in damages that our insurance claim denied because the service had been turned off due to the negligence of Mike Murphy and his company. While we were doing repairs and working with our insurance, Mr Murphy claimed it was his error, asked our deductible so he could cover it and said if insurance denied our claim he would work it out with us. Once we let him rectify the illegal work he did and get the town inspection, we never heard from him again. Our attorney sent him a letter with the charges and he is now claiming WE were responsible for the inspection! I understand it was an oversight not to get the inspection done, but it was his responsibility and that caused major damage at our property! He is untruthful, unethical, and we will be moving forward with a lawsuit. I hope his conscious will kick in and he will rectify the situation!

The electricians arrived and promplty went to work. Quickly upgraded GFCI outlets in kithchen, and started on the bathroom issue. Took a little time to problem solve the issue, but they systimatically worked through throught the possible causes and found an open air splice in the crawl space. i would definitly hire again.
