Mike was nice and professional from start to finish. In order to stay insured we had to have our service panel replaced within 5 days of closing. Mike was very accommodating of that timeframe and made sure the work was completed. He was very honest with the price and even ended up $400 under what he originally quoted. As first time homeowners, we will definitely need electrical work in the future and Twin City will be who we turn to!

I am very satisfied with the work Twin City Electrical did converting my home's fuses to circut breakers. Every aspect of the process was professional; prompt reply to telephone inquires, workers arrived as scheduled, timeline was accurate and expertly completed. Extra service, at no charge, was performed to be sure the completed work would pass inspection. Later when a related problem surfaced there was a prompt response and effort was made to evaluate and correct the problem. I would recomment Twin City Electrical without reservation.

Twin City Electrical is a first class operation, they were on time, professional, and reasonable. I would highly recommend using these guys for any electrical problems and or issues. The owner, Mike Murphy, was very pleasant to talk to. He followed up quickly after I purchased the big deal to schedule a time for his crew to come. I was even able to re-schedule my appointment with no issues. The day of my service, Mike called in the morning to let me know of the crews ETA. They arrived on time and quickly got to work. The crew communicated what they were going to do very well, and they were sure to ask me about the switch placement before actually doing it. I was very pleased with all of the work. I would definitely hire Twin City Electrical again.

From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. Mike came to my house to a**** the job and was very courteous and professional. They were able to work with our budget. The day of the work they were there on time and finished ahead of schedule.

The way Twin City Electrical does business is the way you'd like all of your contractors to work. Owner Mike Murphy kept in frequent contact and stressed how important it was to him for his customers to be satisfied with his work. Although a small job, he came to our home initially just to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted done, and to check the placement location of the fixture in our kitchen pantry. As I had requested an appointment in the late afternoon, he called me when he and his crew were leaving their prior job so that I would not need to take any more time off from work than necessary. Mike and his crew, Mark and Sean, arrived exactly on time and started their work. In just about an hour, Mark and Sean had the new outlet, light and switch installed with the new breaker. When I asked if it was possible to have a low profile switch installed (something I had not considered), no problem! They went out to their truck, got a low profile switch, and installed exactly what I wanted. Replacing the bathroom fan timer and dimmer switch in the bedroom took but a few minutes. Throughout the job, Mark and Sean cleaned up as they went and since we have pets, both were very careful when they came and went from the house or basement, to ensure no one got out or went where they shouldn't. I am extremely satisfied with the work of Twin City Electrical and am already discussing having additional work done by them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work to be done.

Mike the owner came out and did a quote and was very accommodating and worked within my budget. 2 electricians (Sean and Mark) arrived and worked all day to complete the projects. All three were punctual, very professional, and friendly. Most importantly the quality of the finished projects is excellent. I couldn't be happier.

Right from the start, talking with Mike Murphy, the owner, I knew I would be in good hands. He was very concerned about making sure his team provided excellent service. His team of two, Sean and Mark, arrived right on time to begin the job. I showed them the two outside boxes that needed to updated and they got right to work. It took them only about 40 minutes to do the work, so I asked about replacing some outlets in my kitchen. They got right on it and replaced all 4, paying close attention to using the correct color outlets ( cream vs almond). Mark and Sean both went above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. Mark took the extra step of sealing the back of an outside light fixture that he noticed was exposed. Sean fixed my screen door that wasn't closing properly as he was going in and out of the house. I am very satisfied with Twin City Electrical and would definitely do business with them again!

They came, Mark and Shawn I think. They located missing power lines to the garage and then reconnected service to some out door porch lights that had been partially installed my previous owner. They with extra time they came in the house and showed me some things in the basement that I would like to address before attempting to finish that downstairs space. I will call them for all future projects.

First motion light was defective (purchased by me from other source). Twin City came out to readjust promptly. When still not working properly, they came out again to install a second light. Again, promptly and pleasantly. Second light works perfectly. Good job!

The job was scheduled easily. Two men were assigned to the job, Shawn and Mark. Both were very courteous and professional. The job was completed within two hours, and they cleaned up after themselves. The owner called to follow up right after the job was completed to make sure that I was satisfied. I would hire them again.

What do you mean I can't keep them? Seriously, I bought a 1950s house that nothing was done properly or taken care of in the last 20 years. I thought Shawn was going to cry when he saw what needed done with the outside outlets (they were installed using an outlet underneath the front of the entry way & boxes were rusted through - very dangerous situation), but instead he resolved all of the issues. In the meantime, Mark got the lucky part of the job & explained what he was doing & why. At the end, I asked him how he would solve another issue I have & came up with a logical solution that I hadn't thought of. I was happy enough my mother is considering using them as well.

The men arrived promptly, introduced themselves and went right to work after I explained what I needed done. Though they had a difficult time running the wire up thru the flooring, they remained very professional. The job did not take long at all. The owner, who I did not meet, was very professional on the phone, very nice to talk to. I will be using Twin City for future electrical wok.

Everything works fine now. They were very nice and respectful. He just kept apologizing to things and he kept thanking me for things that he didn't need to thank me for. It just took a longer time on the phone. It was like he was being too careful about everything, too thankful or too apologizing. They didn't even have them in and out. They did come out later one day two hours later than they said. That's fine. They coordinated for the visit. He told me that his further work will be at $125 an hour. I never saw the owner but I talked to him on the phone. He sent two workers out and I never saw him. They didn't have a dark brown color for the paneled wall. They only had white outlet plates. I had to go to the store and buy a dark brown one. They could have had various colors and sizes of outlet plates. I did ask them about connecting some wires to lines pointing to my house. That seemed like it was going to be difficult for them. I don't have any other lights that are not on the wall. They didn't immediately know how to do that. He was thinking about it for a minute and he started looking around on the house for some connected wiring. They were not sure of how they would do that. I would not use them in the future because of their price per hour.

Excellent. I was contacted by the owner the day after my purchase on Angie's list. We went over the services I wanted and he advised me of the cost of some of the parts. Two electricians arrived on the day we had agreed upon and the time he had told me to expect them. Both individuals were very professional, went to work immediately and continued for the next three hours. Job actually went over the time purchased and I was asked if I wanted them to continue. I did. When job was completed, they showed me everything they had done and tested it with me there to show me everything worked. They cleaned up all areas prior to leaving. I was very satisfied with the work they had done.

The two workers were pleasant, knowledgeable and wanted to please. While the special value offer (on labor only) was much appreciated, the final invoice reflected full price for parts---the contractor's professional discount on parts wasn't passed on to us.

They were punctual and very professional. Finished quickly , did not waste time and were very efficient. I would recommend this company very highly !!!

We were very lucky to find Twin City when we did. We just moved into a new house and purchased a new oven without realizing we would need to add a new outlet for it. They came out on a Monday for a quote (same day we called) and did the work on a Wednesday evening. While they were here for the quote we realized we had no outlets in our basement so we decided to add a few and they were quick to accommodate. The gentleman showed up right on time (evening hours) and were extremely friendly and easy to work with. Job was finished as promised and they cleaned up after themselves. Since this is a new house to us they were nice enough to point out the way some of the outlets were set up for our future use.

First of all, Mike, the owner, called in the morning before anyone arrived to make sure the team he was sending had all needed equipment. Mike also made sure I was aware it may be necessary to cut drywall in more than one spot just so I would not be taken by surprise. He also just wanted to assure me they would try to finish in the 2 hours allotted, but there was no guarantee that would happen as the team never knows what complications can arise. Mike made it clear their main goal was customer satisfaction and that everything that could be done, would be done to make that the end result. Mark and Sean were amazing. They brainstormed an initial plan and kept adapting it as they went along so there was the least amount of drywall cutting needed. In my case, it turned out to be zero! They finished in under 2 hours. We will have Twin City Electrical back again for additional projects!

Communication with Mike leading up to the appointment was really great, and the electricians arrived within their specified two hour time window. They also completed the job earlier than expected. The electricians were very professional and courteous and did a wonderful job of fixing all of our issues. I am so happy to have my light and outlet working again, and our new chandelier looks 10 times better than the old one. Given the great appointment and communication, we will definitely use Twin City Electric in the future for any electrical needs that we have!
