No problem!

old furnance died late one cold winter night...as member of Reimer's comfort club called and they were there the next day to do the work...have been enjoying reduction in balanced billing from $126 per month to $86 ever since...also as member of comfort club, cleaning and maintenace every year performed at no additional cost.

From start to finish everything went as planned, on time, neatly with complete removal and cleanup. We have had an annual service plan with this company since our install. The technicians are knowledgable, friendly and extremely courteous. They ALWAYS put shoe covers on and in all the years we have never had a problem with any of the individuals coming into our home. Most of the time the technician is the same person who serviced our furnace the previous time. This tells us 2 things - there is not a lot of employee turnover, meaning stablity in the company and it gives the customer comfort in recognizing the technician. They do "offer" suggestions to of new products or other services they feel the customer may benefit from when they are there, however, again, they are very courteous about the customer response with NO pressure. They're not the cheapest in town. But they're extremely friendly, helpful, courteous, etc. - and they seem good at what they do. They also don't pressure you into anything - which unfortunately we have experienced with other heating and cooling companies. With the annual service plan, it works out to about the same amount that you'd spend for a spring air conditioner tuneup and fall furnace tune-up - plus you get discounts on their usual pricing, plus they actually contact you to schedule your seasonal tune-ups (so you don't forget). So that's convenient - and it saves us money. One relatively small detail - but still noteworthy - is that they seem to send the same service tech each time. So after a few calls the guy knows me, I'm comfortable with him, he knows firsthand what issues we've had before, etc. There's no learning curve each time.

This is an excellent company. They have done a great job and their service plan is very good. They put on their shoe covers even though I tell them they don't have to do that. They stick to their agreements and are very professional. They have never tried to over sell. I have been using them for 8 years now and would highly recommend them.

Reimer did multiple installs for us. They took care not to damage property. The furnace was a bear to remove but they did it quickly and neatly. All The new items installed have worked extremely well. They are prompt in calling to schedule routine maintenance...nice not to have to worry about getting this done. Great Company

I called for an estimate some time in December of 2003. In January of 2004, a representative of Reimer came out and gave an estimate of how much it would cost to remove the old boiler and hot water tank and replace them. The cost was reasonable and both were installed in January 2004. I entered into a monthly comfort club membership which has been the best thing for me. Being a single female head of household , it has been such a comfort knowing with this membership the Reimer "family" is "watching" over me with reminders when a routine maintenance is due. Knowing that I would not have to pay anything for such a low monthly maintenance fee has been truly welcomed! From the staff that answers the phone with "how can we make you smile" to the service people, Reimer is aces with me!

They respond quickly and are professional. I had pipes burst a few years ago in my house when I was out of town and they were here immediatly. You can call them 24/7 and they are always there. They are wonderful and I just can't say enough good things about them!

They came in and did a check up for us as the beginning of winter. I have been very happy with their services. I would use them again in the future.

Overall, I am very pleased with the service, starting out with the estimator; Jerry. They not only had provided the best rates, but they were all professional, clean, and completed the work in a timely manner. They built a brand new system for me that included a new furnace, AC unit, and 12 duct runs. They also removed the old furnace and reran some old duct work / exhaust (another apartment) at no additional charge. This job was no easy task! Jerry knew my budget, and planned a system that would meet my current and future needs (investment property).

They took their time explaining things to me and looking around my house. They were in within a week. There was an issue with where I wanted the air conditioning unit placed outside, but they worked through it, they tracked down a special piece for me, and they got it the way that I wanted it. I thought they were expensive but they gave me a different unit than other companies recommended, and they gave me a discount. I am a satisfied customer. Someone came out within a few days and the unit was installed a week later.

Reimer Heating & Air Conditioning came to my home to replace my furnace in February 2007 after performing an emergency shut down. I recently discovered that Reimer sold me a furnace too large for my home (nothing about size in relation to my home was discussed). My furnace has been running oddly this winter (2011), so upon calling Reimer three times nothing was fixed. Then the president, Richard Reimer, came out and told me that my duct work was providing insufficient air return to keep the heating element cool. Richard Reimer tried to encourage me to apply for credit with Reimer and immediately install a $700 "air cleaner" in place of the standard air filter. They have been trying to sell me this "air cleaner" for four years now. Richard Reimer skirted around my question of why this was not discussed at the time of sale or installation. For four years Reimer has been coming to my home twice a year to clean, check and maintain my furnace and for four years I was never told that I did not have proper air flow and for four years my furnace has been over heating and losing longevity. Richard Reimer became irritated that I would not apply for their credit and begin work immediately. He wanted me to call my husband at work at that moment. Richard Reimer said "Well, I don't know what you're going to do." and left. In addition, Richard Reimer, at the time of his visit, replaced my two stage thermostat with a one stage thermostat and made adjustments to the furnace and told me that it was still running in two stage performance. I found out soon that he really had simply turned my furnace into a one stage functioning furnace. In addition, the workers, during installation, split the siding on my house and did not mention it to me. In addition, during the course of the installation, two workers walked into my house without knocking or introducing themselves and went into my basement. I give an F for professionalism because although they are generally polite, they are deceitful, which is unprofessional.

The sales rep/technician explained their products very well and discussed the company's guarantees. If you are in the market, they would be a good place to call for an estimate.

There was actually a problem with the initial install. But Reimer corrected the problem. There was a new crew that apparently completed the work. They installed the unit with the front facing the wall of the basement with less than a good clearance for service. This was not acceptable to me and I refused payment until I spoke to a service manager. The service manager came out quickly and agreed that while it was within code, it was not a proper install. He offered to correct the problem with either a new replacement unit or to reverse the existing unit and patch it with a discount. I took the discount because the patch made no difference to the efficiency of the unit and the aesthetics did not matter. The second install was fast and done well. They did a good job both times of patching exterior walls and keeping the area clean. They were all respectful as well. I would recommend them but I would carefully go over the plan prior to install to avoid the same confusion. Remember, they do this everyday and a lot is taken for granted, you don't do this type of work and assume things will be the way you have seen other places or imagined. A careful talk and walk-through will help.

They came and pulled the unit out to see how it was draining. Since the unit was not cleaned right, it flooded all my carpet in my den. My insurance paid for the new carpet but I had to pay a $500 deductible due to the error of Reimer. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

I was informed that the heat exchanger had cracks in 3 spots. I was offered the following two options. Replace heat exchanger (under warranty) on pro rated basis with a cost of $1187.00 plus tax or, replace furnace with similar style for $2477.00. Please note furnace is 8 years old. I did some research on line and contacted the manufacturer (Carrier Corporation). I was given local authorized dealers and service companies. Reimer was no longer on this list, though they installed this unit 8 years ago. Another contractor informed me that the only cost I should pay for would be the labor to replace the defective heat exchanger. This company just finished the job at a cost of $217.50. Needless to say I am not very happy with Reimer nor will I ever consider using them again. I'm not saying they are a bad company but I would always get a 2nd or 3rd opinion before hiring them.

I feel that they worked out pretty good. They were very professional and all. I do not have a contract with them but I do call them all the time. They charged about $5000 for the heating system and $3000 for the air conditioning system. I thought that was rather fair.

Reimer Heating is very good. They replaced the switch on my air conditioner which is now working properly. I would recommend them.

Reimer Heating & A/C was very caring about my home. He put on booties over his shoes and cleaned up everything before he left. He also explained everything in terms I could understand. He did a wonderful job.
