+ -1 morePaid $75 (not $35 as quoted to me) for diagnosis Mother board was problem. For computer professional with equipment, should not cost more than $35. Tried to pressure me to pay $150 to get data from hard disc and put on CD. A complete rip off. Hope no one falls for this. Kept tower for 10 days before giving diagnosis of problem. Would not honor quote of $35.00
Description of Work: Was given quote of $35 service call. Joe picked up computer. It was days before I heard from them. Phone calls not returned. Paid $75 (not $35) for diagnosis Mother board was problem. For compuer professional with equipment, should not cost more than $35. + -1 moreJoe was very professional. He called to let me know he was running a little late and his approximate arrival time. He worked quickly and efficiently, trying many different approaches to make the drivers load for my printer. The problem was bigger than first anticipated, but he remained calm and friendly throughout the process, explaining what he was doing as we went along and answering my questions as well. He was eventually successful.
Description of Work: My new HP printer/scanner would not work with Vista. I was also receiving runtime error messages from Microsoft and customer service was no help for either problem. I had called two other computer repair people and neither of them returned my call after one week. I reached Joe right away and was scheduled for following afternoon.
