Description of Work: Pulled and re-set my upstairs toilet which was leaking. |I contacted them Late Friday, they were available for Saturday for free |estimate. When the plumber arrived, he gave me the estimate, and although it was a bit more than I thought it should be, he said he could work on it immediately with the proviso that depending upon what he found the estimate might go up, but he would do nothing without checking with me first. I gave him the go-ahead, within 1 hour the work was done |cleanly and the leak appears to be fixed.

Description of Work: Provided quote for: Installation of 11 Steel I-Beam Pilaster Supports, Remove/move hung Sewer Line, well pump and plumbing and relocate to provide access to top bracing of beams, 30 Year Transferable Warranty on Structural Work.

Description of Work: Cleaned out three cracks in the basement wall, filled them and sealed them. Initial contact in February was very informative. It did seem we had to wait a long time for the work to begin in MAY. The technician who did the work was well skilled. He did not have sufficient drop clothes to cover areas that should have been covered. All things considered, I would hire this group again for this same type of work.

Description of Work: I contacted Frank's to evaluate a repair to an old bathroom faucet. On the day he came out a 2nd problem surfaced -my basement flooded,sewer backed up. He honestly told me that the repair to my faucet was not practical due to it's age and other plumbing issues. He also recommended I contact the city to assist with the sewer problem at no cost, even though I was prepared to pay him. I really appreciated his honesty and the fact that he spent so much time helping me figure out what to do to address my issues. |

Description of Work: Frank's Mr. Plumber advertises as 24/7 for a water emergency. I called late on Saturday and again on Sunday morning, leaving a message I had no water, frozen water pipes. It's now Monday mornings and I still have not received a return call. Don't advertise what you don't provide and change your voice mail message which says to expect a return call within 15 minutes. Frank's did contact me on Tuesday, 3/11/14, to apologize for not returning my calls. I was told that somehow my first message was missed and the second deleted. I was surprised, appreciative of their efforts, and upgraded my rating. Of all the plumbers I called that weekend, Frank's was the only one who got back to me to follow up for not being able to provide 24/7 service as advertised.

Description of Work: They did a check of my furnace to make sure it was running properly. They cleaned it as well. The tech was very personable and helpful.

Description of Work: I called Mr. Plummer to unplug a toilet at 9pm tonight. It turned into a more complex job than they originally thought. They fixed it and made sure it was functioning properly before they left. They also cleaned up after the work was completed. The cost was fair and reasonable. I will definitely call them again!

Description of Work: Water was backing up from the basement drain in a rental property I own. I called Frank's and they gave me a qoute over the phone, which ROTO Router would not do. Within an hour they had someone there. The service man evaluated the situation and explained the he might have to put a "cut in" in the kithchen drain if he could not clear the blockage through the floor drain. This is something that I believe should have been in place anyway and it turned out he did have to. All in all he was done in 2 hours. This was on a Saturday and there was no extra charge. I had used Frank's last year for a leak in the 2nd floor bathroom of the same property and had a similar experience. Both times they honored my $40 Angie's list coupon.

Description of Work: Needed a new faucet installed and an old faucet fixed. The plumber was on time, put little booties over his shoes (which I appreciated) and told me precisely how much everything would cost before he did the work. He took out a faucet that had been installed sometime before WWI which was obviously difficult. Installed the new one and fixed the old one in good time. He cleaned up after himself and we paid exactly what we were told.
