Frank's Basement Systems

I was pleased with everything about this company except the price. I had a blockage in the sewer pipe that plumber was able to determine immediately. He stuck a snake down the vent (located in the front yard) and ran it all the way down to the public sewer line. He said he felt a "gush", and knew the blockage had been eliminated. He then ran a camera down the pipe to see what caused the blockage. After my $40 coupon from Angie's List, I still ended up paying $311 for this service. That means, without the coupon, I would have paid $351 to run a snake down my sewer line to release a blockage. I just cannot rationalize this much for that particular service. With that said, everything else about the company was fantastic. Plumber was very friendly, informative, punctual, and detailed.

Frank's Mr Plumber did a good job. They told me exactly what would cost ahead of time. They were much better than the plumbers whom we had used before. We would use them in the future.

Very well. Company called to keep me informed of the approximate time the service tech would arrive.

Day 1 service technician evaluated the problem and tried snaking the pipes with a mechanized snake through the drain in the driveway. It didn't work. A camera was sent down and it showed, on a computer screen, the solid muck in the pipes. The next day the technician came with a high pressure water hose and it cleaned the entire pipe from the house to the main sewer line. This was all done through the drain in the driveway. Therefor I had no mess in the basement.

Our drain was backing up in our stationary tub in the basement. We called Mr. Plumber to come look at it and snake it out for us. When the plumber arrived, he worked diligently to attempt to unblock the drainpipe, however, he soon found that the problem was a corroded pipe under the ground He thoroughly explained all of our options to us and recommended that we install a pump to transport the water from that side of the house to the other main pipe on the opposite side. He told us the the estimated cost and came the next day to repair the problem. He worked for most of the day and the pump has worked well ever since. He was professional and answered all of our questions. He deducted the initial visit's cost from the cost of the entire project. We will definitely call them again in the future.

Plumber arrived on time, The upstairs bathtub/shower has a very different type of faucet. The shower line comes directly out of the top of the faucet. The plumber knew what piece he needed right away. He didn't carry what he needed to fix my plumbing, so he went to the store got what product he could and fixed everything. He couldn't find what he needed for the down stair bathroom so he fixed it with what he had. And then told me if I any more problems to give him a call and he will come back and fix it. I was very happy with his work. There was no mess he cleaned up after himself which is very important to me.

. The plumber, Mark, showed up on time and was extremely professional. He explained what he would and the price. He also told me about a coupon on Angies List that I could use. He was unable to clear the line but inserted a camera to diagnose the problem. He showed me several areas of root invasion and broken tiles that prevented removal of the roots. He told me that he would not charge me full price for the cleaning and he was unable to completely open it. He said a new line would need to be installed and wrote up an estimate. I was very pleased with his service.

The work was done at my father-in-law’s house, which my wife now owns. The service tech was punctual. He assessed the job correctly and did everything he could to repair the problem. There were other issues that could not have been repaired without some extensive work and he mentioned all that and described it and at that time, we decided to do it at a later date. He was exceptionally good and we are going to have him for our house as well.

The audit took a little over 2 hours. Very professional and courteous. However be sure to shop around for prices on any work recommended. Their prices are a a little on the high side. I am sure they stand behind their quality work but the price was high for me. I ended up doing most of the work myself.

I called Frank's Drainage and Waterproofing to take a look at a sink hole that had formed in my front lawn. The woman on the phone was very kind and helpful, and she scheduled an appointment to have someone take a look right away. The gentleman who came out followed up first with a phone call, and remained in contact regularly before and after the first visit. After inspecting the issue, he admitted he was not sure what was causing it and passed it on to someone else who had more expertise with such issues. Even though that person was out of the country, he was contacted on his cell phone, and made some suggestions on what could be done until he could get back to take a look personally. Frank's has their own plumbing service, which I arranged to have inspect my sewer lines with a camera per the recommendation of their drainage expert. Unfortunately, there was a blockage in the trap that prevented the camera from accessing the entire sewer drain, so I had to reschedule to have them come back with a jetting machine which would hopefully clear out whatever was blocking the way. I was not charged for the initial visit, only for the jetting service. The jetting took place the following week, and fortunately cleared the block allowing the camera through the remainder of the drain. Lucky for me, the pipes were in good shape and not causing my problem. The gentleman performing the work both times was very friendly and knowledgeable. Both drainage experts returned later in the week to take another look after the sewer line was inspected. They were unable to identify what caused the sink hole, but did offer suggestions on how I should fix it. They did not try to push me on any unnecessary services, and even offered to provide me the filling material to fill in the hole myself. Everyone I worked with was very friendly, honest, and knowledgeable and I am very happy with the support and services they provided me. They prided themselves on providing the best service possible, and in my opinion they succeeded in that.

They did a wonderful job and I would give them an A rating. They really did an excellent job and I will use them again in the future. They said if there was any problem to call them day or night. When they came out to do the work we were very well pleased. If problems came up two months from now then thats a different matter because they just finished everything in the past couple of weeks. We just had the work done but so far everything has been very good and we haven't had any problems.

The first plumber was very nice, and I appreciated him trying to solve the problem with a less expensive fix. However, he seemed a little dismissive about the fact that I had already done what he proposed to do. And, he never gave me a written estimate on the job i called him out to do and that did eventually have to be done. Overall, though, I was very happy with the customer service that the woman on the phone, Frank the owner, and Gary the master plumber gave me. They did everything possible to make it right and make me happy. I understand that not everyone is 100% happy all of the time. People make mistakes or have an off day. And that's what I would like to think happen, because Frank's Mr. Plumber strives to make every experience a good one for all customers.

After starting later in the year than we were told, work was finally underway. It took several weeks to complete as it was a very large job. There were some glitches as with all construction jobs. Anytime we called Frank's with an issue they would address our concerns. When it came down to the final finishing touches, we had some issues, which we were not happy about. We called the company and Frank (the owner) came to our house and we went over everyone of our issues with him. Not only did he address each and every problem, he made sure everything was corrected to our satisfaction. He even refunded some of our money. He is very caring business man.

We were totally satisfied. They price was average. We had to call them back and they came right back.

I found them very professional. They showed me every step of the way of what they were doing. They did a nice job and their clean up was very good. I would suggest going with them.

While they are not licensed to do plumbing in the City of Niagara Falls, they are licensed.for the Town of Niagara.

They were prompt and came right away. I thought that the price was high, but they did exactly what they said they were going to do.

He was very pleasant. It's a locally owned business. Both of those things are definitely positive. Their pricing is about on par with everyone we've used before. We haven't had any more clogging of the drain that they cleaned. He told us exactly when he was coming.

We had water backing up into our basement and we called Frank's Mr. Plumber @ noon. They said they would be out between 2p & 4p and arrived a little after 3. Our plumber Ed was fast, efficient and identified our problem quickly. He then was able to take care of the issue. We were pleased with the entire process. Ed was also friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We will definitely utilize their services again and tell our friends and neighbors as well.

My experience was good. There were some miscommunications with scheduling, but they were very good.

Everything was excellent. They responded quickly when I called. They were here when they said they were going to be here. Their work was very professional and so was the crew. I enjoyed working with them.

Came within two hours after I called (a pipe burst and water came out so the kitchen sink was unusable). The guy was very professional and did a great job.

I set the appointment, was given a 2 hour window when the plumber would arrive, received a phone call when he was on his way and he arrived promptly. I was told the price and he took about 30 minutes to stop the leak and we were both on our way. No issues at all.
