It was a pleasure dealing with Andy Ramierz and his team. The attention to detail was above average , also we were constantly kept in the loop with no surprises . We are very pleased with our new bathroom and equally pleased with the new roof that was installed. We would highly recommend ACRSI for any home improvement project.

I hired Andy and his company to remodel my very old bathroom. They found an issue with water damage and took care of the insurance claim and repaired all the damage. The guys did a beautiful job despite the hot weather they had to deal with. Very happy with the transformation of my bathroom. Highly recommend them!

If you are looking for an amazing contractor, you have found him. We hired Andy and his team to do a complete gut renovation of our basement, including installing a robust French drain system under the foundation, laundry room, full bathroom, and wet bar. From the very beginning we knew we were in good hands. His team are considerate and really great at what they do. Andy was hands on and always aware of what was going on at our house. Even with all the unexpected things we uncovered behind the walls, in the ceiling, and even under the foundation (we have a 100 year old house with 100-year-old-house problems), Andy was calm and collected and always figured out a solution. He helped us make tough decisions and guided us through the entire process without pressuring us into making any choices we werent comfortable with. The cherry on top was the quality of the work. I will be the first to admit that I have an eye for detail which can drive some contractors crazy. But Andys team were up for the challenge, consistently delivering on amazing craftsmanship and top-notch finishes. They are truly proud of what they do, and it shows in the finished product. Our basement is the envy of all our neighbors, and not just for what the eye can see, but for the quality of the work behind the walls as well. We will certainly be using Apex again for our next big renovation project, and will be recommending them to everyone we know in the meantime.

Andy and the team were phenomenal, from insurance mediation to full home remodel following a fire. Could not recommend them more, the attention to detail and responsiveness were second to none.

The attention to detail with Apex was incredible. The team helped with every aspect of my design. Also their ability to overcome obstacles in the remodeling of kitchen was exceptional. Like with any remodeling there will be unexpected obstacles, but with Apex they came up with fixes and even adjusted the price for some inconvenience. Very professional business.

We hired Andy and his team to remodel our kitchen after a flood. I canâ t say enough about the team, the communication and the quality of service provided by ACRSI. Every time I had an idea or something else I wanted to add to the kitchen, Andy was able to draw it up and get it ordered and installed for me. His team came early mornings and stayed until the job was done. We added a new built-in pantry and a front hall closet to the existing kitchen plan and it went flawlessly. Andy and his team installed beautiful molding around the entire kitchen and added paneling on the walls to match our new cabinets. They created a perfect, fresh white kitchen for us and we couldnâ t be happier! We will never look for anyone else in contracting!

Tarrytown, NY Sep 2023 We bought our house right after the Pandemic in 2021. At that time, the house was only 3 years old. It was more house than we thought we wanted, but we fell in love with it anyway and knew it would be the kind of house our family could grow in to. The main feature was the unfinished ground floor. Roughly 2600 sq. ft of endless entertaining possibilities! After almost 20 years of apartment living, my wife and I had no idea about how to even begin such a substantial undertaking. We interviewed a few general contractors and were left unimpressed. To tackle this project, we needed someone who not only had the know-how, but someone with a flexible, experienced and creative approach. My wife happened upon the Chrysalis Awards for Remodeling Excellence website and saw the work of APEX Contracting and Remodeling. We scheduled an appointment and were introduced to Andrew Ramirez. On our walk-thru, we were immediately impressed with Andys attention to detail. We had loose idea of what rooms the space could hold, but the specifics were still very fuzzy. He carefully listened to our ideas, and in a matter of minutes, he was taking us through an infinitely more detailed imagining of what could be done. It never felt like he was selling us a bill of goods and our skepticism quickly gave way to excitement! When Andy met with us again with a more detailed rendering. It was like watching a magic trick being performed right in front of our eyes. We loved his professionalism and approach. We discussed what the process would be - Timelines, the initial steps to undertake, and the contract process. Andy brought in the Architect, and within a few weeks, we were off! The APEX crew arrived on day 1 and were courteous and total Pros. Andy was thoughtful and meticulous in the way he guided the work and he quickly became a fixture around our home. He set an agenda and was communicative when the work hit a snag, (as is often the case under the best circumstances!) We knew what was happening..(so IMPORTANT!!!) The site was ALWAYS clean and organized. There were inevitable delays throughout the duration of the project. And we had a TON of them. Procuring materials, post-Covid, as well as the inflated cost of materials, created delays that no one could have predicted. At several points during construction, it caused a slow down in the pace of work. But our anxieties were often soothed because Andy was so good at helping us manage our own expectations. We built a Gym, Movie Screening Room, Pool Room/ Lounge, full Bath, custom storage throughout the space, and a Spectacular Bar! I had a specialty request, a professionally designed Recording Studio. I would brought in a firm that designs these types of spaces and required a separate contractor to perform that work. In a truly magnanimous gesture, Andy made space for me to contract a specialty company for that work - going above and beyond to accommodate their crew and made himself available to answer all questions and the two teams worked together, seamlessly. Andys sub-contractors were top-notch! Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Architect, Interior Design Consultant, all served as an extension of his care to detail and doing the work, the Right Way. Everyone was coordinated - and they executed the plan. Trust is often the hardest thing to have when a contractor is involved. But because of the way Andy has always been with us, he is proven time and again, that our trust in him AND his work, is well founded! We LOVE our space! We love showing it off and sharing it with our friends and family! And we have already made plans to start a few future projects in the home. And when we are ready to get started, there is only one company we would trust to do it. Andy Ramirez and APEX Contracting and Remodeling!

This is an addition to my previous review. In my last review I spoke of the exceptional work done, now I would like give a review on the crew. Andy Ramirez and his crew are exceptional. Andy works with you on every detail of the project from start to finish. When you call or have questions he responds immediately. He ensures the crew are meeting the requests doucumented in the contract, and is very flexible in make adjustments or additions as requested. The crew are remarkable, Danny, Segundo, Remal, the electricians, and the rest of the team. They are very detailed in their work performance, which is reflected in the final results. The crew is very respectful of your home and are neat and clean as they are working on the project. As stated before I am very pleased with the results. ACRSI is very professional, Andy will come to your home to access your project and provide you with suggestions as needed, he was very helpful through the two projects with some great recommendations. Julie at the office consistently provided me with documented updates on the payments for the project, it was very helpful to keep me on track. Overall it was a great experience, and I highly recommend the team from ACRSI for any major home improvements you are considering. I will be using ACRSI for any future projects.

I had an unexpected sewer line break emergency in my rental property, and I can't thank Apex contracting and home remodeling solutions enough for their excellent job done. First they handled the complete Water Mitigation, and canâ t express how happy my wife and I were for their swift and effective response. Their team arrived promptly, assessed the situation, and immediately began the water extraction and drying process. Their expertise and state-of-the-art equipment were evident throughout the entire mitigation process, and they even worked seamlessly with my insurance company to alleviate some of the stress we were experiencing. They did a great job and were quick and efficient. Workers were neat throughout their time on site, leaving areas safe at all times. Crews were prompt and timely with their scheduling as well. Completed the restoration efficiently and addressed any issues throughout the project.

We hired Apex to remodel 3 bathrooms in our newly purchased home. Apex's work is mediocre at best, especially when compared to the prices they charge. Based on conversations with the owner, Andy, and based on their pricing, we were expecting high-quality work. During the course of the job, they broke our heating system (and then tried to charge us to repair it). They also cut large holes in our kitchen and bedroom walls without asking or informing us and they left very messy patchwork behind. Worst of all, Apex's plumbing work created water damage on our living room ceiling. Apex's attention to detail is poor. We keep finding dings and scratches and many items were installed crooked. We had to ask them to fix basic things multiple times. Apex's billing procedures are borderline predatory. They will nickel and dime you every step of the way with change orders. Their pricing after the initial contract is completely non-transparent. They will just write you invoices with seemingly random prices for basic things that most people would assume are included in the high base price. They will also threaten to bill you for work that you didn't agree to. I know this is common, but Apex promised us that our project would take 2 weeks and it took over 2 months. This was mostly because they made us keep re-ordering different fixtures that they told us would work fine, and because they had to keep redoing poor work. Please protect yourself from Apex. Do your own research on the previous legal behavior of Apex and it's president. I wish I had done this before signing an agreement with Apex. If you do hire them, make sure to get every single interaction in writing because they are not honest.

Apex was hired to remove mold after my toilet over flood and reconstruct all areas affected. They were professional and moved quickly with the project. They negotiated with the insurance company to make sure the job was completed correctly. The guys were on time and cleaned up after each day of work. Andrew is very experienced and I had no worries about the job being completed to my satisfaction. Thank you Apex and I would highly recommend you.

Andy was recommendation to us by the cleaning crew who came in after our basement flooded. Him and his team were able to fit us in their schedule and install a French drain system immediately. We ended up having to demo and redo our basement bathroom due to water damage and his team handled the entire process. He also worked well with providing our insurance company with all the documents needed for the claim. Besides some minor construction hiccups, him and his team did a great job.

This is the company to hire - look no further! We hired Apex to remodel our master bath and power room. The team was able to fit us into their schedule right away and finished work quickly, despite some hiccups. Andy is very thorough and helped us identify and address potential issues that may cause big trouble down the road. They also do their best to keep a tidy worksite, which is above and beyond. We will keep Andyâ s number handy for any future needs.

The adjuster who originally came out from the insurance company undervalued the repairs by approximately $90,000! We could NEVER have battled them on our own, having eventually seen the amount of research, knowledge of process and experience that Andrew brought to the table. Through his diligence Andrew was able to get us the funds we needed to do the repairs properly.

Andy came to our rescue after the hurricane flooded our basement. His professional crew had us clean and safe in no time. We were so impressed with the work we hired him to rebuild the finished basement and complete another important drainage project. Andy and his team are super responsive, reliable, and are very talented at what they do. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any number of home improvement projects.

Andy was recommended to me after I had a house fire then was having problems with my public adjuster, and the insurance company house was total loss structure all contents. Andy took over handling all the mitigation process fought with my insurance company the worst impassionate company holding back monies deeply depreciating our belongings. Andy fought hard with his outstanding meticulous knowledge of insurance the laws he kept on them with letters like he was F LEE BAILY. Then ultimately expertly demolished our home of 25 years. cant thank him enough for all his efforts . I am a higher end upper east side Manhattan painting contractor for 43 years I know the best when when I work with them.

During Hurricane Ida, our entire basement flooded with sewage water, swamping thousands of boxes of books and possessions. Apex came the next day with a massive crew of strong, friendly, hardworking guys who carried out tons of soaked boxes and other items, saving many that would otherwise have been ruined, and built a place to put things in that could be saved. Apex then put in numerous fans to try and dry the waterlogged floor. After a few days, Apex came back and helped fix the basement, put in a drainage system, and removed and replace wooden struts that were so drenched in sewage water that they were putting the house at risk. Neither Orangetown nor State Farm helped in any way. Apex was the only positive (very positive) force and friend in an otherwise horrible and negative experience. Highly reccomended.

I give my highest recommendation to Andy and Apex for emergency mitigation and working with (and battling) insurance companies. Simply put: Andy is a man I trust. I suggest you just take down his number now and save it in the case of an emergency. I am a new homeowner in Orange County and we had a pipe burst in Jan 2022. I was very lucky to know of Andy and Apex. I called Andy and he had a plumber on site on a Sunday evening within 30 min. The next day I hired him and his team to help with emergency mitigation and correspondence with my insurer. Andy is incredibly experienced and he was an excellent communicator - always explaining the next step of the process. He led and commanded the process of retrieving what my insurer was legally obligated to pay. As you may know, the insurer is incentivized to make the minimum payout possible and throw obstacles in the way to try to justify what they wont cover. If you have Andy in your corner, you will prevail. Andy and his team are incredibly professional, experienced, and organized. They document everything and make it nearly impossible for an insurer to pay out a dime less than you are entitled to. He consistently put pressure on the insurer until they did what was right. In my case, we had to file a formal complaint with NY state because my insurer slow and inactive. Andy helped guide me through that process. My insurer eventually did pay out the full amount that Andy and his team estimated. I am very glad to have met Andy and I look forward to working with him and his team in the near future. He is the first place I will look when it comes to making repairs or renovations in my home.

We had our bathroom completely remodeled by ACRS and we are very happy with the project. Andy and his entire crew of skilled and caring pros produced the beautiful new bathroom that my wife and I envisioned. Andy answered all of our questions and kept us informed as the project proceeded. The men were all very responsive to any questions that we had. They also took great care about cleaning up and removing any debris at the end of the day's work. I would definitely recommend this company.

Apex Contracting is a top notch company delivering top notch services. My home was damaged by Storm Ida and the team performed amazing work to rehab/replace and install new water draining/sump pump lines in my basement, waterproof basement, install new windows and doors! This was a massive job. The team is very knowledgeable, clean, timely, and respectful! Huge shoutout to Andrew the owner for running an excellent business and service! He came highly recommended and we see why. We will be working with Andy again in the near future!
