 + -1 moreI have been using Regal Pest for about a year now, and they have been fantastic. Most recently, I called Eric (the owner) today about a small beehive my roofers found behind my gutters this week. Eric spent several minutes explaining to me that most bee nests are seasonal and that the bees won't return year-after-year. He explained different types of bees to me, and told me what to watch for when deciding whether or not I wanted them to come and spray this specific hive (versus giving me the "hard sell" for a service call and charging me to come out). I decided not to have them come out, and Eric was happy with that. I really like these guys, and this type of service conversation has happened in the past too - last month, a painter found a rotten window sill and photographed some insects that were living in the rotten wood. I thought they were termites and was very concerned so I called Eric. Eric actually had me text him the photos of the insects, told me they weren't termites and that they were harmless (but that I needed to replace the wood). I trust these guys, and will continue to use them - they're knowledgeable and pleasant, and seem really to care about my property.
Description of Work: Installed termite bait stations, and ongoing extermination services.

 + -1 moreThey provide a window of time for the appointment. In 18 years, I can't remember a single lateness or no-show. I started using Regal because that is who the previous owners used and I had no reason to change. Therefore I am not familiar with other companies to be able to make a comparison. The amount of the contract hasn't increased for quite a few years now. I just had a professional home inspector report on the house and there were no issues with termites or other insects.
Description of Work: The inspector that shows up is always polite and thorough. They inspect the perimeter of the house, especially around the doors, inside the garage and in any unfinished areas of the basement.

Description of Work: Luckily I found Regal when one of the workers from my previous pest control company said he was trying to get a job with them. I stopped using my previous company (one of the big ones) when the worker said he couldn't ladder up to the roof to apply pesticides as they're not insured. Furthermore he didn't have an extension pole in his truck so he could apply pesticides to the second level. That's when I contacted Eric Morse the owner of Regal in 2008. Since then I now know what a pesticide company is supposed to do. My previous company would zip in and out in 20 minutes; Regal will take an hour to do the inside/outside. Every technician who has shown up (usually the same one) has been top-notch. They are well qualified, thorough, and answer all your questions. I pay an annual contract for 4 services-- 2 outside, 2 inside/outside.
