+ 7 moreThere are not enough great things I can say about this contracting company!! Both Valentino & Ben are extremely knowledgable about their craft. They have been responsive to our needs & have made themselves available to answer any questions we had both along the way & even when we had concluded the projects. Their workers are amazing, polite, friendly & clean. Having been under renovation for a year, I can honestly say that I miss them in my home & would use nobody else from here on out!! I can rest assured that we are in good hands & that everything is being managed appropriately when my husband & I are at work. You will not be disappointed using Lisi Contracting & most importantly, they are secure in the work they do & make it fun every step of the way!! Thanks to them, my husband & I have built our dream home :)

The project lead and owner of the company was very easy to work with and communicate with, and he assisted us with all design work and choosing fixtures. The crew was extremely professional. They were able to separate our daily life during the project from the remodeling work. They always went beyond what was necessary to do the job right and the workmanship was outstanding. We have had mediocre remodeling projects in the past, but this one went great and we plan to use the same firm on another project this spring. We would highly recommend Lisi to anyone looking to do bathroom or other home remodeling projects.
Description of Work: Lisi recently remodeled our master bathroom, master closet, side master closet; installed 2 new exterior sliding doors; and moved a doorway in our living room.

+ 3 moreProvider did not stick to the plan we discussed. We told him that we wanted to keep our appliances and wanted to freshen up our kitchen. New cabinets and countertop. Try to layout the kitchen better as it is small. The drawings we received were not professional and hard to see. The layout had a whole remodel with moving of plumbing and putting in new windows. The cost quoted was $40,000.

+ -1 moreThe consulting with the contract is very pleased, including all the suggestions and color scheme, plus any options or material selection. The work schedule initially was slow, but when close to our moving-in date, the project got speed_up and it was done before the moving-in date, which is nice. Price itself, I would say it is not cheap compared to other service later we used. Especially for some add-on. The project finished 90% as we expected. But after few months usage, we found here or there small disappointing places. We asked for some quick fix and some got a patch and acceptable. Some patches are not working and it ended with our own / handyman's work. My wife is especially disappointed by those details. She is the one believe you can tell the work from very local point. I didn't agree with her at the very beginning, but as time passes by, I found maybe she was right.

Description of Work: Owner came to our house, measured, left, said he was sending proposal, never did....Months later we gave him another chance....called him, he came, measured again....we went to his showroom, picked out everything for a bathroom reno....He sent a proposal by email...we called and wanted to see fixtures that would be chosen for bathroom. He had to find a toilet that would fit opening in floor....he left us hanging for two weeks without contact.....I emailed him to find out when he would contact us so we could see toilet, sign contract and begin construction. Never heard from him....He's just a scattered individual that leaves you feeling that you question his way of doing business even before you try and do business. Just got an uneasy feeling about this entire operation....Don't care that people have found he gave good service in their past projects....there is no way we'd want to do business with someone who can't focus on the customer. Didn't want to become a general contractor victim as so many people often become. I would never want to do business with someone this scattered.

He explained everything and answered any questions I had. I had faith he would perform high quality work and would have liked to hire him. Unfortunately, his price was over my budget so I went with someone else. I would definitely keep him in mind for any future projects.

+ -1 moreValentino was very professional. His designs and ideas were invaluable. He was very patient with us as far as answering questions and devoted many hours going over details. We loved the convenience of being able to choose all the materials in one place. The selection was varied and of good quality. Ben and his crew were all great. Their craftsmanship was exceptional. They covered everything and cleaned up every evening. The work took longer than expected but we had all the snow storms to blame and some issues with the delivery of the cabinetry. Even so Val and Ben made sure to keep on top of it. We are very happy and pleased with their work and would recommend them highly.

+ 2 moreJob started on time and moved along at a good pace, crew did great work and clean up really well each and every day. Had some trouble here and there, which was to be expected with a job of this size and the age of our house (1904). But when we hit a snag, the Lisi brothers always did the right thing.
Description of Work: Converted kitchen and dining room into one large kitchen... complete demolition of half of our first floor, installed complete kitchen down to the last piece of crown molding and did considerable restoration work (pocket doors, raised panels, fireplace inset and surround). House looks amazing, we love it.

They used good materials, worked clean and were very polite and professional. We appreciated how they solved a couple of snags during the project without nickel and diming us. I would say the total price of the project exceeded our budget but if one believes "you get what you pay for" they also exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Lisi.

+ -1 moreEvery aspect of the remodel went according to plan. The final cost was very close to the original estimate. The only variance was due to rotten wood beams that were discovered after the demo and had to be replaced. Everyone with Lisi Contracting was very professional, competent, and helpful.
Description of Work: We completely remodeled our master bathroom. Lisi Contracting was involved in every aspect of the remodeling project. They promptly came to our house to measure and gave us an estimate very quickly. When we went to their showroom, they spent a considerable amount of time in designing the layout of the new space. They had great suggestions and helped us pick out new cabinets, countertops, tiles, and faucets. Lisi did a complete demo of the old bathroom. They also replaced a number of rotten beams in the floor and walls surrounding the old shower. They built a brand new shower enclosure and a jacuzzi tub deck.

+ 6 moreThe work was done in a professional manner by master craftsmen. Each angle was dead on and the walls were absolutely plumb and straight. The tile and marble work was done with care by people who really cared about achieving a perfect result. Valentino Lisi, the owner, appeared each day and was always available by phone to answer our questions and concerns. He spent hours with us prior to the start of the project to help us choose marble type and color, vanity materials and counters. He also showed us faucets and shower parts that all matched to create our vision. We also added an additional furnace and air conditioning unit. This required relocating the old air return, adding a new return to the new furnace as well as adding new supply lines.
Description of Work: Added an addition and remodeled existing bedroom. The work included two new baths (marble in the master), two walk in closets, hardwood floors, footings, foundation, new roof, added an exercise room and closet in basement and a new two car garage.
