East Coast Roofing got to work first thing in the morning with a large team working on both areas. They were organized, fast and professional and cleaned up after themselves end of day. We have a tricky house to work on because it is an older home on a steep hillside and there are lots of stairs to navigate on and off the property. They handled all of this without issue. The job was completed by mid-day the next day and the roof looks great. The flashing and edging that was missing on this roof has now been done with quality workmanship and materials. Roof looks great! I will definitely have them back to take on the rest of the roof when that starts to go bad.

Mike showed up on time and provided a detailed written estimate soon after. When we decided to use East Coast, he came back again, on time, with a variety of shingle colors. His crew showed up when expected, worked quickly and efficiently and answered any questions I had along the way. They completed the job in a day and a half. The crew worked neatly and made a point of cleaning up upon completion. I did find more than a dozen nails in my backyard. Make sure to check the perimeter for nails, especially if you have kids or a dog running around. I would definitely recommend this company.

Mike was able to perform the work in 2 weeks after I initiated the phone call. The work took slightly longer than usual, the former owners had FOUR layers of roofing!! Much to my surprise, it only took a little over 3 days (Sunday was involved, no work performed then). They cleaned up after working every day, and when work was completed, you wouldn't even know that they were there at all!! Except that my roof is beautiful. Even the neighbor said so, I think they had approached them for a possible siding job. I know that I want one in a couple of years. The crew were /are a great hardworking group. Mike is very calm, as is Dawn, who took my multiple calls without losing it. They are even going out of their way to help us with the Vets rebate through GAF being offered this year. Wonderful experience overall.

We recently hired an asbestos abatement company to remove the tiles from our house and an out-of-town company to install an eco roof. However, the removal of the tiles revealed a whole can of worms! Rotting cedar shingles and other layers and no plywood. The eco roofers could not touch the roof as it was, the weather looked dubious and our whole roof was now exposed. I called 4 roofers to come bid. I had heard good things about East Coast Roofing. Mike Gray of East Coast came promptly, got on the roof, examined it thoroughly and made calculations. His price was neither the cheapest nor most expensive, but I appreciated his professionalism and the thoroughness in the details of what he could do for us. He promised a crew of 8 first thing in the morning. His crew arrived before 8am. They brought a container for the messy job. The whole production was amazingly coordinated and the guys worked hard and were very professional. Unlike other places, where you see the owner at just the beginning or the end of the job, Mike Gray was on sight at least 5 times during the day bringing extra supplies and supervising on the roof. That was huge, because I could ask him about how things were going and how he'd address other issues like the gutters, etc. The plywood was first rate and 4 ply, not the stuff you get at Home Depot. On the 2nd day, a smaller crew arrived at 7:30am and began work promptly. East Coast cleaned up the property beautifully and you would never know at all what a thoroughly messy job it was. In 2 days, the stripping and plywooding of this 3100 sq ft roof was finished. Just an amazing job. Our eco roofers saw the roof before and after, and were overwhelmingly impressed with East Coast's efficiency and excellent work! I highly recommend them. If we ever have to roof again, I would call them first!
