Description of Work: Snow removal from roof. Excellent. Chose them because VANDERHOOF Roofing put in my new roof a number of years ago and did an excellent job then.

Description of Work: They put a gutter on the back of the house. They came and did the job and did a great job. I still have a problem with the downspout vibrating but I just have to call them and they will come look at it again. They tried to fix it already. Weather got to cold at that time. They are extremely accommodating and very professional.

Description of Work: Before they installed the roof, I informed them that I had a problem with ice build up which is why I had heating cables. They told me that I wouldn't need the cables any more and discarded them. Unfortunately, this past winter, I had a lot of ice and ended up with leaks in the ceilings of a couple of rooms. I also have numerous brown spots on several ceilings. I had to fight with them to get them to put up new cables. At first they wanted me to pay for them. When they finally agreed to install some, they only did them on two sides. Also they did not pay for the inside damage to my ceilings. I am not happy with the outcome.

Description of Work: Replaced roof and gutters. My roof was a disaster with five layers on space board (not plywood). It took six guys, seven days, working long hours. So glad I chose this company! They were professional, hardworking, trustworthy. Safety was important. They were on harnesses. They cleaned up each night. Everything went smoothly. You get what you pay for! |Would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: The rep was very responsive and informative both on the phone and in person, and he arrived exactly when he said he would. He evaluated the gutter problem, and we both agreed that it wouldn't be an easy fix and that I'd put off any action until at least next year. I'll definitely hire them when I decide to proceed.

Description of Work: The company provided a written estimate to replace my roof. Mr. Everett was thorough in explaining what needed to be done. He identified an issue with the roof that contributed to the damage. The esitimate was the highest I received. I chose a different contractor.

Description of Work: I asked Vanderhoof Roofing for an estimate to replace my fathers roof. Their representative explained what needed to be done and why in easy to understand language. They provided a nicely printed estimate that was easy to read that gave a line by line description of what they would do. Their estimate was the highest of 4 so we chose a different contractor. I would consider them again in the future because their contract was well written and easy to understand.
