Seth Paints

We highly recommend Seth’s Painting & Carpentry. His crew painted the exterior of our house in spring 2024. Seth, his foreman Clay, and the rest of the crew were professional and a pleasure to work with. In the course of the job, they consulted us and took care of carpentry work that needed to be done and were considerate of plantings near the house. Their work was meticulous. We couldn’t be happier and have received many compliments about our newly painted house. The estimate Seth provided at the outset was right on target. Seth's Painting and Carpentry is negligent and endangers the children who live in or close to their work sites. Not only do they NOT follow EPA regulations around lead-safe work when doing exterior painting (e.g. dry instead of wet scraping, not removing lead chips immediately and rather leaving them on the ground for extended periods thus letting the chips spread all around work site properties and their neighboring properties) but when asked to actually fix their errors they become defensive and do not fix the problem in a prompt manner. When they do finally "fix" the problem by HEPA vacuuming lead contamination, they do a poor and incomplete job. Seth's may be EPA certified for lead-safe work, but they are NOT following the rules, and are defensive about not following rules, and not trying to be professional or improve their practices. They don't seem to care about lead safety! Therefore they are endangering the health and safety of children around their work sites and should not be allowed to continue to work with lead. If I could leave 0 stars I would because this has to do with children's welfare.

Seth's team was wonderful to work with, very considerate and helpful in making the project work for my elderly mother. They did a great job and the cost was very reasonable. The house looks great!

Savannah was great. Seth was hard to reach on the phone, I was not happy with Seth community but Savannah was very professional and great. I would recommend Seth painting just for her cause she work so hard to make the customer happy

Seth provided a prompt and very competitive cost estimate, which proved to be accurate. Work began shortly thereafter and was timely completed. Workmanship (scraping old peeling paint, then priming and painting) was excellent. A few carpentry issues arose (cracked and rotting boards) and were fixed forthwith.
