They arrived when they said they would. Scott and his helper really did a good job cleaning the driveway especially getting rid of all the packed in mud at the end of the driveway. They then sealed the driveway and were very neat, not getting a drop on the white garage door. I was impressed with both their neatness and their politeness. They answered any questions I had and I would hire them again

Very prompt initial responses, then about a week went by and I reached out to contact them via Angie's list. Once I did that they were quick to respond and complete the job. The job was done quickly and thoroughly.

This is the second time we've used Scott Drummond of Secure Seal and there's a reason we hired him back. He comes on time, cleans the driveway thoroughly, edges neatly, does a very straight line, doesn't leave a mess, and is reasonably priced. We couldn't be happier.

Had to wait for a good day weather wise. Was completed in 3-4 hours. There were two workers who were professional and courteous. We had a plow service that lightly scratches our blacktop so we may need to re-seal every other year and will definitely be contacting Secure Seal again. They've been in business for many years because they do a great job and treat customers well.

It went very well! Scott called us ahead of time & asked if time was convenient for us. They showed up on time & got to work immediately. They trimmed all areas around our driveway meticulously and then proceeded to sweep & spot clean all surface areas. They used a compressor to blow away all surface dirt & debris. We had a plumbing repair done last year that left a patched area in the center of our driveway. Scott took extra care to clean & clear that area before applying the seal. He applied the seal to entire driveway, with special care to the edges at roadway & where the garage meets up with driveway. They used a paintbrush to get those small areas done properly. What a difference! The driveway came out great! When they were finished, they staked off the end of our driveway & put an orange rope across as a barrier. Scott asked if we were satisfied with work (which we were!) and stuck to the price he quoted us at the beginning. These guys did a really great job!

I contacted Scott to seal our driveway. Upon his arrival he noticed a couple areas that needed repair, so he called to address these issues and to see if we wanted the additional work to be completed or just the seal. I had him do the repairs and seal and was charged only $200! Scott and Mike (his helper) did an amazing job to include our property being left clean as a whistle!!! Scott even squeezed us in on short notice and provided the quote over the phone. Very prompt professional.

My driveway had never been sealed before. Scott gave me an estimate of 200-250 because of it being the first seal. The first seal requires more material and time. I gave him a window of a few days while I was on vacation in which he could perform the seal and he was right on target with the window given. I returned from vacation to a beautifully sealed drive way. There was not even a blade of grass with black on it. I am extremely happy with the results. The best part was it came in at the low end of the estimate. Only cost me $200. According to Scott, the next seal will only be $140. Good prices for quality work.

wonderful service every year

My driveway was in embarrassingly bad shape and I would just cringe every time I looked at it. I had called Scott last summer, but we ended up not being able to connect. This summer, I called him again and he was really wonderful in persistently calling me and checking to see if he could come over and do the driveway, which is great, because I work crazy hours, along with my husband. We were finally able to connect and he came over the same day. Now, the carport and addition to my house was built right on top of the asphalt (sigh) and it has not been sealed since I've lived here, which is ten years and I'm not sure when, or even if, any of the previous owners bothered to do any maintenance on it. There were cracks everywhere, weeds growing up where it met the carport, and oil stains in the carport left by the previous owners. The carport area, itself, was very dusty and dirty. I swept it twice a year, but it just never seemed to be enough. Scott and Mike came in and brushed that driveway to within an inch of it's life, including along the side of the house, where there were weeds and all sort of debris build up. He repaired one spot where there was some major wearing and then sealed it. Luckily, the weather was sunny and breezy! It looks *amazing*! My driveway butts right up again my neighbors and theres always looks so clean and nice - now mine does, too! The price that you are quoted may seem high, but you are paying for true hard work and quality work. It was worth every penny I paid!

I showed Scott some of my concerns on the one side of the driveway that is elevated and drops off, which has a high water load and was cracked and wearing, along with a driveway that is approx. 110' long, he quoted me a price that I found high, UNTILL I saw him start to work! His prep time and effort that he put in to get the driveway edges and roll off ready to seal was roughly 3 hrs. ! He proceeded to better the rough areas of the side that was of concern and remove all overgrowth and trimmed it all and blew all debris and trimmings from the area, He worked diligently and was willing to try and meet all expectations that were discussed. I was very happy with the job and effort he put in, and would recommend him to anybody looking for s hard working and diligent person who offers a service most only promise but never deliver on!

I was at work, so I've never actually had the opportunity to meet Scott. According to my wife, he arrived exactly the time he had said he would, accompanied by a coworker. He was courteous in his demeanor and meticulous in his work. When I arrived home that evening, I was amazed by how well my driveway appeared. The sealant was applied uniformly, without a drop on any of the adjoining areas--garage doors, walkways, etc. I truly cannot think of anything else Scott could have done to improve the look of my driveway. He not only cheerfully accepted our Angie's List coupon, but even rounded the price DOWN to an even number. Having hired numerous contractors and workmen over the years (I'm not very adept at home repair myself), it was a pleasure to find someone who showed up when he said he would, delivered exactly the service he had promised and charged a fair price. I would not hesitate at all in recommending Mr. Drummond to friends and neighbors and plan to use his services in the future when our driveway requires resealing.

Our driveway was overdue for a seal and had many cracks; alot of wear and tear as we live in the country. Sucure Seal offered a fair price for sealing and repairing what was possible to repair. His work has lasted through the year and we plan to have him come out again this summer to reseal another time. They were courteous, careful and professional on the job and I highly recommend them for driveway sealing.

He sealed my personal residence and an apartment parking lot in the fall of 2013. Did a great job. Removed leaves from 2 commercial/apartment buildings in Syracuse in the fall of 2011-2013. I plan on using him again in the fall of 2014. He is honest, hard working, and always shows up on time when scheduled.

Scott was fantastic! He trimmed the grass along the edges of the driveway, cleaned the driveway off until it was pristine, and then sealed the driveway - all in 90 degree heat. His work was extremely neat and well done. Scott is a man who takes pride in his work,and it really shows.

Scott and his assistant arrived exactly on time (8:30 am) and did everything I expected in a professional and thorough manner: - Trimmed back the grass all along the driveway's edge - Meticulously cleaned the driveway of all dirt and grass clipping with a blower and hand broom - Repaired a gasoline spot - Then carefully sealed the entire driveway, including the edges, without getting any sealer on my concrete sidewalk, the garage floor or the street. In addition I had Scott repair the seam between the driveway and the concrete garage floor. A gap had formed along this seam and water was draining into the gap and under the garage floor. Scott filled the gap by hand with driveway stone filler material, tamped it down with a tool, and then sealed it in place. This did cost extra but it was urgently needed. Overall Scott was a professional who exceeded my expectations. He was pleasant to talk to, reasonable in his prices and a responsible individual. He earned my Angie's List A. This was my first experience using Angie's List and it was a very good one. The same morning Scott also sealed my mother-in-law's driveway and she was equally pleased.

He did a great job. He made an extra effort to put loose pieces of asphalt back in place along the one side where the snow plow driver had damaged the edge and to seal the seam at the bottom of the driveway where it meets the street. He's very attentive to detail and seems to take pride in a job well done. He also made an extra effort to come when I needed him to.

These guys are the best in every way. They were prompt, courteous and very meticulous with their work. They carefully cleaned the driveway and trimmed the grass along all the edging. There was no splatter anywhere on our home or garage door. The price was extremely reasonable, and the guys were super nice. They even helped return a loose dog in the neighborhood to it's owner! What more can I say?

My driveway was very damaged, but Scott was able to patch and seal the driveway so that it looked much better. I was happy with the work. The lines around the edges of the driveway were very straight and neat. My neighbor observed Scott sealing my driveway and was so impressed that he hired Scott to seal his driveway.

The driveway looks good. These guys did some edging work along the lawn that previous driveway seal companies didn't do. That was much appreciated.

Scott arrived when he said he would and did it exactly what he said he would do. He edged, patched, and cleaned the driveway. He charged us exactly what he said he would. It was very refreshing to have someone arrive on time and do what they promised. We will use Secure Seal again!

That worked out fine. I called them up and they came right out. I can’t complain about the price.

Scott was on-time and extremely through. He scrubbed and cleaned every square inch of the driveway and protected the areas on the edges. After two days of letting the driveway dry, we were able to use it again. There was no splatter on the driveway and every edge was amazingly straight. He provided recommendations on the future sealings, but is in no way pushy on what to do next. We will definitely use him in the future and recommend him to our friends (and Angie's List users!).

I was extremely impressed. My wife saw Scott on Angie's List and called for an estimate. We had to wait for the monsoon to stop, but he called on the first nice day and asked if it was OK to come over. Scott edged the driveway (it's about two cars wide by three cars deep), scrubbed with a wire brush, and then used a blower to remove the debris. Scott then began to spread the sealer. It was like watching an artist at work. I believe that everyone has a special talent, and driveway sealing is Scott's. He was quick, but laser precise, especially on the edges. It was mesmerizing. I could not find one drop of sealer anywhere on the house, or even in the grass. The finish at the end of the driveway where it meets the street was perfect. I will never use anyone else again and will recommend Scott to anyone who needs a sealer. Top notch.
