While the movers didn’t arrive at the time that was scheduled, once the movers arrived they were very professional, curteous, and emptied the apartment quickly and efficiently. I would recommend them to anyone.

Did not reply to message on Angie’s list, both phone lines go to voicemail 99% of time when calling, website says they’re open on weekends but are not. I was finally able to get through and scheduled my move weeks in advance with confirmation. I had planned several major events around this date - I was moving 1,000 miles the day after the scheduled move. A week and a half before the move, they called (on a weekend) to tell me they are canceling my move due to their employees needing to work a larger job. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. This has caused us to scrambled and will cause us to incur major financial setbacks if we are not able to find someone to fill the gap.

Did not get a return phone call. Job may have been too small.

I was so impressed by how smooth everything went on the day I moved. These guys are awesome! The owner is really nice and came to look at my things beforehand to gauge the size of the job. At least six guys loaded the truck on moving day; I couldn’t believe how fast they were. Poor guys even had to shovel the walkways at both the old and new house. Two of the guys drove with my belongings to do the unloading. They did a great job and asked me about where to put every single item brought into the house. Most importantly, none of my things were damaged in the move and all of my furniture was reassembled. I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving in the Syracuse area! It was a little expensive, but I have a considerable amount of things, including outdoor furniture. Plus the guys did a lot of extra work.

I was very pleased with the services provided by the Ralph Palmisano team. Even though they arrived exactly when I was told they would, we were not quite finished packing. The guys were kind, patient and efficient, and they were able to fit all of my items in a probably too-small storage space. I definitely recommend them!

Our crew of Steve, Tony, Terrence and Milt was excellent! These gentlemen worked efficiently and carefully to get our move done in timely and organized manner. They were extremely pleasant to work with throughout the day, and worked together and with us quite nicely. All of our things made it to our new home without any issues, and we are grateful for their hard work.

My husband and I could not have been more pleased with the move. From our first contact with Ralph Palmisano until they unloaded the truck in Tennessee on Jan 27, 2017, things could not have gone more smoothly. Not only did every aspect of the move happen like clockwork, from the packing, loading, and unloading, but I can't imagine anyone caring as much about our possessions as Ralph and the members of his team. There was not a mark on any wall or floor at the house we left or the one we moved into and both required moving heavy furniture up and down stairs and across hardwood floors. Every item arrived in perfect condition and Ralph and his team went above and beyond expectations in terms of placement of furnishings, putting pieces back together, and making certain we were more than satisfied before they left our new home in Tennessee. We cannot recommend them highly enough and would never want to move with any other company!

My appointment was for a specific time. I rearranged a meeting at work so I could run home to be there for my appointment since they needed to schedule during working hours. He never showed up for our set time. Nor did he call to say he was running late. I finally left after 30 minutes. He called me 50 minutes late to say he was in my driveway. I told him I left because he didn't show up. He asked if I wanted to reschedule. At first I considered it but then when I mentioned him showing up so late he commented he was only 45 minutes late and that things happen and they aren't always on the dot time for the appointments. I commented that most people are and he replied with he was sorry I felt that way. Clearly he did not care about losing this job nor did he think my time was valuable enough to warrant a courtesy call to say he was going to be so late. Sadly, had he bothered to take consider my time was valuable too and called me, I probably would have waited. Every professional I have ever dealt with in personal life and in business shows up on time for scheduled appointments and if something does happen they at least have the courtesy to call to say they are running late. My guess is, since he felt 50 minutes was not a big deal I'm not the first one to experience this. What a shame. Customer service is crucial in any business.

They were great!! Showed up on time....actually a little early....and went right to work. They were careful, and moved things very professionally. I was worried my table might not fit out the door....but they made it look easy!! The four gentlemen were all very good! Mr. Palmisano was at the move himself and was very organized.

They were great! I was very nervous because I had a lot of really Expensive furniture . They were extremely careful with everything , Wrapped my furniture to make sure it didn't scratch in the move. Everything was perfect!!! I will defintly use them again . Only Complaint was they were like 45 minutes late .. But Not really a big deal.

When the owners of the company (Ralph and Renee Palmisano) are as involved as these two are you can't have a better feeing about their commitment. If we were to move again be it local, out of town, out of state or country we would not hesitate to use Palmisano movers.

They moved us in the week after the projected close date in the most efficient manner possible. We did incur an additional moving expense for the 2nd unloading of the truck because they had to actually handle our furniture 3 times but that was understandable. They rescued us from a very stressful situation and were extremely quick and careful in the handling of our belongings.

The crew showed up ON TIME reviewed work to be done and set to work. They where careful and professional. They finished faster than I thought they would. NO damage. no problem. no hassle.

This was not a big job but complicated. We were moving our mother to assisted living and needed to move some things to storage and some to another state for my sister's son. Also the house was still full of things and we were waiting for the house sale to be set up. The movers came two separate times and worked around the other things in the house. They were so helpful in planning and helping us organize. They were on time and highly professional. Nothing was damaged in either move and all was done in a very timely manner.

The process of moving went very smoothly. We obtained an estimate from Mr. Palmisano, and his estimate was within 10% of the final amount. (His price is based on weight of the items being moved.) Mr. Palmisano himself is very pleasant, and he brought a crew of four men with him. The men in his crew were all very pleasant and easy to work with as well, and they are all very hard workers. Mr. Palmisano was on site during the move, and he helps with the move personally. Moving is expensive, but his price was over $1000 less than that of a competitor. The competitor's price was based on weight, too, but they don't weigh their vehicle before and after it is loaded; they just estimate the amount that you have and guarantee a price based on that estimate. On the day of the move, Mr. Palmisano's crew was well-stocked with the moving necessities, including additional boxes (for wardrobe items - those cost extra), blankets, tape, etc. They work efficiently but carefully. Nothing was broken, damaged, or lost in the move. They disassemble those items needing to be taken apart (e.g., bed frames)and a ping pong table), and they put them back together at your destination. The moved us out of our home on one day - June 26 - and they moved us into our home in Rochester the next day. This worked very well for us. Overall, I was very pleased with the process, and I would definitely hire this company again.

Everything was going well and than they informed me that when I paid for two hours work that included an hour of travel time for the truck to get to me. Back and forth that was a slow moving truck! The bottom line, I paid for two hours but, I only had one hour's worth of moving furniture from them. They than whined that I told them less pieces were to be moved and that I had added more pieces.. This was true because as I told them since I was paying for a full hour of moving, I wanted them to move furniture for the full hour! Everything was moved within the one hour allotted time, so, I paid them, no tip to the movers. I figured I paid double for the one hour of time as there was 2 minutes of travel to go from one house to the next and it didn't take the truck a half hour each way to travel empty to me location and back. They also messed the walls up when they moved the sofa down the stairs. I did not like their attitude.

The men arrived on time and began immediately. We were extremely impressed by the strong work ethic of all of the guys. They were friendly and smiling even when moving many heavy belongings. The weather was blustery and very cold which we thought might have been an obstacle. Nothing seemed to face them as they continued to pack, lift and move all of our belongings in a very timely fashion. Watching each of the men labor throughout the day and having them remain polite, efficient and hard working really motivated me to sing their praises. I would highly recommend this service.

While I wasn't there to observe their work, my Mother and brother where there and told me that they did an excellent job and were very responsive to her needs all the way through the move, beginning to end. My Mom Loved them and highly praised the work they did. Her move went very smoothly and she and I would recommend them again. I was glad I checked Angie's List to help me out with this move for her as I live in another state and couldn't be there to observe the quality of service. But based on everyone that was there, and that they all told me how wonderful it was (as much as a move can be), I would highly recommend them.

We had over 15,000lbs to move, and they did an excellent job. They were on time, took care of our belongings and everything went fine.

They arrived right on time. I showed them what needed to be moved, and they got straight to work. They were friendly and we joked a bit. Everything was packed onto the truck promptly and got moved to my new residence. They were very careful with all my things, and once we got to my new residence, asked me where things needed to be set up. It took 3 hours from start to finish and it was wonderful.
