Never called back after two calls, so never received quote.

They came out same day I called and fixed the garage door that would not open. Everything went well and the gentleman that performed the service was pleasant. They do not accept payment at time of job and send you a bill in the mail.

They were very helpful and scheduled us as soon as possible since we had a car trapped in the garage. The repairman was very friendly and on time and he did all the work without me needing to stay around. We had some problems with the door sticking afterwards and when I called, they sent someone out the very next morning to look into it. It turned out to be an issue with our rubber trim sticking on the door frame and he was able to adjust it to avoid touching. They did not charge us for the second visit.

Garage door would not open on a Thursday after work. Saw the cable was off the drum and it wasn't something that looked like a novice could deal with. Called on Friday and they scheduled for Monday. Came on time, first thing in the morning. Got the cable back in place, adjusted tracks, tightened hinges, lubed. Has been working well ever since.

Their installer arrived as planned and set to work removing the old garage door and installing the new one. He was courteous and moved along steadily. The result was a custom garage door exactly as I expected.

They were excellent. They were professional and communicated well. They did what they said they were going to do.

I called "overhead Door" in Syracuse, N.Y. to install new doors and hardware at my home in Oneida, N.Y. They sent a couple of guys over by appointment and got everything done in just a few hours, I was very pleased with the job done; there was a return trip for an adjustment on one of the doors which they did quickly, Thanks again, R.H., Oneida, N.Y.

The estimator came out and took measurements, then went over the options (single layer, double, triple, etc...) Their triple-layer steel door with a decently high R-value was comparable to other companies' double layer door, price-wise, and a few hundreds less than others' triple layer door. I guess it takes a few weeks for the door to come in, which is kind of a pain, but if that's industry standard then it is what it is. Anyway, they contacted us 3 weeks later to schedule the install; they were good about picking a date and time that worked with our crazy schedule, and they came by to install it. I was surprised to see only one guy (thought for sure it'd be a two-man job) but he seemed to manage fine on his own. Pretty fast, efficient, didn't make a mess, and was really informative and helpful explaining stuff, which was nice because I'm a bit of a mechanical idiot :-) Also, I like that they took 50% down upon order, and we didn't have to pay the other 50% until the install was done. The new door's motion is quiet and it looks great. Can't wait til winter comes so I can see how well this thing really does its job!

We had this company replace a torsion spring on our other single garage door 5 years earlier and called the same company since we had a good experience previously. Called on a Monday and was told they couldn't make it out until the end of the week. They were able to come out two days later, Wednesday, which we were grateful for, since the door can't open without a spring. the technician arrived on time. The work was done courteously and efficiently, as we observed with interest. After spring replacement the rollers were lubricated. Old spring was removed. The company billed us a week later. The cost difference between our 2007 work and this job was only $2. Amazing, and we appreciated it in this day of price inflation and downsizing! Although several "Overhead Door" companies are listed on Angie's List, the Auburn/Syracuse and the Cortland seem to all be the same company. The multiple listings are a little confusing.

The estimator made an appointment and arrived on schedule two business days after being called. Approximately 3 weeks later I called to see is the door was in and when it would be installed. Left message with secretary. The next day (Thursday) a scheduler called and offered installation that Saturday or the following Monday. I said Saturday or Tuesday would work. He said he was trying to consolidate jobs in my area and would get back to me. That was the last I heard from the scheduler. On Saturday afternoon, around 1 PM, the installer arrived with the new door. Lucky for him my wife was home and I arrived shortly thereafter. Installation was completed in about 3 hours with no problems.

They were fantastic. I could not find a door I liked in the showroom but saw a door on a house that I really liked. They went to the specific house to find out what door it was and special ordered it for me. The price was very competitive. In addition, it was installed with special corners for me at no charge. The door works very well and the opener is extremely quiet. They were prompt and accommodating. I highly recommend them!

The work was scheduled a few day after each call; they came to my house on schedule and completed the work as promised. They do not require you to be home, as long as they have access to the garage, and an appropriate electric outlet is available.
