Some of our dining room chairs had come loose. He took them apart and re-glued them. We were very pleased with the service.

I had an antique trunk that had been scratched and they completely restored it. After completing the work the trunk looks brand new and perfect. The trunk actually looks better than it ever has. They were absolutely amazing. They were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves.

The refinishing took approximately an hour and a half. Once the refinishing was complete, you could not tell where the worn spots had been. I will definitely use the service again and would recommend Restoration Guild to anyone else.

The refinishing services of Vitaly's company, Restoration Guild, were offered through one of Angie's Big Deals. Since we had a few items that needed work and hadn't found anyone locally who did furniture refinishing, we thought we would give Restoration Guild a try on something small. Vitaly and his helper came to our house and picked up a small rocker, which was cracked and a bit wobbly. When he brought it back as solid as new, we were extremely happy with his work and asked him about refinishing our antique walnut kitchen table. It needed the top restored, plus we wanted an extra leaf to extend it further. Vitaly said he could do both, and we agreed on a fair price. Vitaly was very anxious to please us, and on two occasions, he asked me to come to his shop so that he could be sure he was putting exactly the desired finish on the table. He delivered it this weekend, and my husband and I are thrilled with the results. The new leaf Vitaly crafted fits better than the original one that came with the table, and the table top's finish is like satin, prettier than it was when we bought it. We have already recommended Vitaly's work to one friend and will be using his services again. He is so professional and extremely talented! We highly recommend Restoration Guild!

They do an incredible job with very good prices. I have several other bigger pieces that I will have them do when I complete other home improvements

After our antique sideboard (part of the antique dining room set my mom gave me) slid off the pickup truck that was transporting it during a move and slid across several lanes of traffic on its top on General Booth Blvd, the top was completely destroyed, the drawers were broken into pieces, the back panel was loose, the cabinet doors wouldn't close properly, etc. I was absolutely devastated. I started out asking friends for recommendations for furniture repair. Then I went online and searched as well. When that didn't really pan out, I decided for some reason to use Angie's List - so I joined and started doing my research. After calling several of the furniture repair businesses listed, I called a couple to get estimates and after speaking with the owner of Restoration Guild, Vitaly , I decided to use Restoration Guild for my first estimate. He was professional, explained his training, his experience, and was VERY passionate about his profession. I knew then that if he gave me a fair estimate, I would be using his service to repair my furniture. When he & his father came to the house to do the estimate, he was on time, very polite, and VERY enthusiastic about wanting to work on the piece as he said that furniture just wasn't made like this anymore. He assured me he would do his best to match the color and the finish. He gave me a fair estimate, plus the Angie's List discount that was announced on the website. He told me that he would contact me as soon as the piece was finished. He couldn't give me an exact date as he wasn't sure how long the work would take - it would depend on whether he found more damage or not. He found some further damage as he was getting ready to put the piece into his work van (the rear panel was separating from the rear of the sideboard and cracked), but he didn't add anything to the price of the estimate. I called once, about three weeks into the repair, just to find out if he could give me a better idea of when it would be ready and he told me they had finished the base and were roughing out the top of the sideboard and that it would be ready by the end of the next week. Almost exactly four weeks to the day, he called and told me the piece was completely repaired and that he could deliver it the same day. We were actually going out of town that day, so we had to wait until after the holiday weekend to have it delivered. When he delivered the piece to our house, I was absolutely astounded on the quality of the work. It was truly amazing and a transformation that I didn't think possible. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Restoration Guild to anyone that needed furniture repaired. I will be using RG again on some other pieces of furniture that need repair in our home, because Vitaly cares about the piece of furniture and the work he does. He pointed out to me that his work IS his reputation. He also asked that I put my review on Angie's List. I would gladly refer him to any friend that needed his services. It was well worth the money to get excellent quality work done to a piece of furniture that meant a lot to me. The cost of the repair didn't come close to what it would have cost to replace the entire dining room set with something of equivalent quality, let alone a quality antique.

Repaired a bedframe and repaired a water mark from a cup on the nightstand. Overall, nice job and I am very satisfied.

Had a bit of a hard time coordinating a time to drop the chair off since they are often not in the office (the Angie's List deal required me to drop the chair at their office) and when we set a time and I came out with my chair, the only person in the office didn't speak much English. But, I left it with him with a note for the owners and the chair was repaired quickly and professionally. Can't tell at all where the back of the chair was broken off.

My kitchen cabinets were made by my brother and I only wanted them upgraded and refinished. My brother was here when he came for the quote and was able to ask Vitaly question which he answered. Everything was done just as he said it would be, and on time. He and his crew did everything I asked and Vitaly stayed on the job and worked as well. I can't imagine it going any better. I was indeed satisfied and very happy with the work he and his crew provided.

Arrived timely for pick-up of chairs and approx date given for job completion and return. All chairs returned and looked amazing! China cabinet veneer resecured beautifully, cannot see where original damage done. While waiting for the veneer to dry, touch-up done to superficial dings in china closet drawer fronts. Table legs removed and returned 3 days later. They too looked fabulous!! Could not be any happier with their work!! Price for additional work fair; did pay $35.00 return trip charge. Would heartily recommend Restoration Guild and would call them again.

They were excellent. They got the dings out and they were prompt, friendly, and professional. The chair looks brand new!

Vitaley is wonderful and an artisan. I couldn't recommend him or his company any more highly.

He is an excellent craftsmans. I liked his work so much I have already brought in another piece for him to work on. If you want to give your money to a small business with old style craftsmanship, this your guy. He is very friendly and helpful. He helped me make decisions about my pieces of furniture. Overall it was a very positive experience.

Experience was wonderful, would most assuredly use them again.

I used an Angie's List special to contact Restoration Guild. I had furniture pieces that had been badly marked, scraped and gouged by movers. They did a spectacular job on the furniture pieces. In particular, a bed footboard had a 1/4" deep gash that you cannot even tell was there. My white coffee table looks like new again. I will definitely use Restoration Guild again.

The servicemen fix several items and even made my wine console look brand new.

Our dining room table (just purchased in August of last year) was damaged when our water heater failed and leaked through the ceiling into the dining room below. To add insult to the injury caused by the water and ceiling particulate, at some point during the ceiling repair process some scented air freshener oil was also spilled on the tabletop, severely discoloring it in patches. My husband and I had purchased a repair/replacement package when we bought the table, and the tech that came out from the company told me that the table would have to be replaced...it was unrepairable. Not wanting to do something that drastic, I e-mailed Restoration Guild through Angie's List and Mr. Vitaly Pototsky called me within the next hour to schedule an appointment to come look at the table the following week. On the day of the appointment, he and his coworker arrived promptly, assessed the damage, and informed me that they could indeed fix the table. They took it with them that day and returned it about a week later. It looks absolutely gorgeous...almost better than it did the day we bought it! The spots that were discolored are barely visible...and only if one knew where they were to begin with. We're very happy with their work and will definitely use them again in the future if we have other pieces needing repair!

I called Restoration Guild and spoke personally to Mr. Vitaly Pototsky who was very courteous and scheduled an appointment for a few days later. He and his helper arrived on time and after looking over the pieces, went straight to work. He leveled the doors on a large armoire that had about a 3/4 inch separation. He repaired dings and scratches on a king-sized footboard where an electrician had dropped a ceiling fan on it. And finally he repaired a chest of drawers that had a marred spot about 5 inches in diameter. I was so pleased with the results on all three pieces. The work and craftsmanship were exceptional. They worked for 2 hours and 20 minutes and I paid $107.33. The first two hours were the Big Deal price of $79 and he prorated the additional 20 minutes at $85/hr. I have a few other pieces that need a little TLC and will definitely use Restoration Guild again.

He was running a special and I brought for all four chairs. He picked them up and I had them within a week done nicely. It works great now. He has a lot of talent.

Mr Pototsky arrived on time and immediately assessed the mirror. Mr Pototsky was very neat and put a large blanket on the floor before he started working. He restored the finish, fixed some minor dings that occured when the mirror was moved and repaired a section that was coming apart from the base of the mirror. The work took approximately 2 hours. The mirror looks great now ! He also provided recommendations on how to care for the mirror going forward. I will be obtaining another family heirloom this summer and I plan to call Mr. Pototsky when it arrives to repair any damage that occurs in transit from PA.

I purchased an Angie's list deal for 2 hours for $79. Called them the next day and got an appointment within a week. They were very punctual and worked on my 4 pieces. I was very pleased with the results. I plan to use them again soon to refinish a door.

Vitaly and his coworker arrived on time on a Monday morning and deinstalled cabinet drawers and doors, taking care to record which specific place they came from so they'd be reinstalled in the proper location. Many of the most used 30-plus year old cabinets needed significant cleaning and/or resurfacing due to wear and tear. He cleaned them and worked on them at his workshop during the week, returning on time Friday for similar cleaning/resurfacing of the surrounding woodwork and reinstallation of the drawers and cabinet doors. He made all of the doors and drawers fit properly and operate smoothly, even though many did not fit well originally. He and his coworker were excellent in their attention to detail, and very careful to not create a mess while working with the restoration chemicals. They took great care to ventilate the room with a powerful fan so the smell of the chemicals was minimized, and cleaned up meticulously after the job. They were also very amenable to using entrances and exits that were not the most convenient for them but helped to minimze the potential of any of our pets escaping to the outside. Final result: a beautiful set of cabinets that look brand new! Great job at a great price, done by talented and dedicated craftsmen.

It went well. It was a little more expensive than I thought, but it was a good job.

A+!! He was really really great. I couldn't ask for a better experience. He does his work and doesn't take anything out of the room, he doesn't leave a mess. Its unbelievable that it looks like it does when he finishes. He has an incredible eye for color when it comes to matching the color and the finish of the wood.
