Price was competitive Called ahead to let me know when they would be here. Showed up when they were suppose to. Very friendly and professional. Great to work with. My floors look practically new. Excellent value. I highly recommend them. I am looking at other projects to have Marty do for me.

The work went very smoothly and took less time than I had expected. The floors look great and it makes a real difference in the appearance of the rooms. The process was very clean -- really dustless. We decided to use water based products. They were slightly more expensive than oil based but there were no unpleasant odors and I think the floors dried faster. Mr. Miller. was very easy to work with and I recommend him without hesitation.

When I called for an estimate they promptly responded to my request and came that day for the estimate. After estimating the cost for the services they set up a time for arrival and an amount of time to complete the job. They arrived on time the day of the appointment. Explained what they would be doing each day and completed the tasks as stated. They were very professional and pleasant to work with. The area they patched is beautiful. You would never know that it hadn't been like that before. I would use them again in a heart beat. We are very happy with their work.

We did the demo work- got rid of carpet down to plywood, and picked up the flooring. Martin showed up when he agreed, put down vapor barrier, put in flooring and put in new trim around the room. Room looks great. Was completed in a day. Will use him when ready to put in hardwoods in rest of downstairs without a doubt.

Very well. Showed up on 3 consecutive mornings. First morning sanded down the existing floor and applied 1st coat. Advertised a 'dustless' process, and we found that to be true, very little dust every accumulated in the 3 days. Sanded and applied 2nd coat on 2nd day. Sanded and applied 3rd coat on 3rd day. Always on time, all 3 days. Very satisfied with the service.

Fantasitc, as described. There is a reason they are raked very high on Angies list.

Owner called and confirmed dates. Kept in contact as I scheduled work 2 months in advance. Showed up EXACTly on time both days. The workers were professional and friendly. Best of all they did exactly as they said for the price they quoted . They were very clean no dust just like advertised. Respectful of my schedule and my home. I will be using them again and recommend them highly.

Hes the best.arrived at given time with 1 man crew. Both polite ,funny and explained the work that was going on. At the end of the project Mr. Miller went out of his way and purchased a wooden vent as a gift to the wonderful custom work he did near sliding door. Looks great with the new floors... I had a few estimates before making my choice with Mr. Miller. I do not rergret choosing him at all. Price was the best. Will def have him back for future work! 100 out of 100 for me

An estimate appointment was scheduled for 2/19 and NYB was a no-show, however we did receive a phone call approximately an hour later with an apology, so we rescheduled for 2/20, also at 5 p.m. Again, NYB was a no-show. This time we didn't even receive a phone call. We will not be rescheduling again.....things come up, we get that, but how hard is it to pick up a phone?

Marty is honest!!! I had 3 estimates. The other two estimates measured the flooring to the size of the full apt. (We didn't do the kitchen or bathroom). Marty measured it accurately. His rates were also below any others. His work was professional. His demeanor was comfortable to talk with. He answered all my questions. The floors are gorgeous. The rooms look uniform in color and shine. I would hire him again and refer him to everyone who would want flooring work done. It was an empty apt, so there were no issues with carpet or furniture. The place was left spotlessly clean.

The oak floor in my 1927 house looks like it was just put down. Absolutely gorgeous, and cleanup was immaculate. The project was done extremely efficiently in less time than originally expected. The two gentlemen who did the work were very pleasant and conscientious. Could not be more pleased.

Awesome! I cannot believe the transformation! The floors were in very bad shape; some pieces of wood needed to be replaced completely. Martin did a fantastic job with zero mess! The floors look great. Very highly recommended!! Pricing was very reasonable, but I did all of the prep work myself. There were no baseboards, staples from carpet, etc, so I am sure that factored into the great price I received.

Martin arrived as scheduled. He completed the task per contract. Floors look beautiful. Want him to come back to do the rest of the house.

I have not heard back from this company regarding the dates of service. I submitted three choices, and was not told whether they were available, nor any other word of communication. I would like my money back, as I have already done the floor myself.

NYB Enterprises arrived promptly a few minutes of 8:00 a.m.. They were professional, conscientious and efficient. They were able to complete the task in 2 days and there was no dust residue. We are all so very happy to see how beautiful our floors are, now. They look brand new. I would profusely recommend them and the cost was extremely reasonable.

It was a reasonable cost. He came over here to give us an estimate and there was a carpet down and he said that he didn't want it to pick it up so we hired someone else and he did the work. He was very honest about it. There was one area he was concerned about. He said that he could do it but it wouldn't look exactly the same as the rest of the floor and there were some other construction problems and he said that we would be better of getting laminate flooring. He gave us all the dimensions we needed and exactly what to look for 'cause we never did that before. I called them back and he came over and laid it down for us and it didn't take as long as he said it would take and it turned out great. We were really happy with it. I was impressed with how honest he was that he could do the job but it would look better another way. I called them and he called back the same evening which I thought was good because he could wait until the next day.

NYB Enterprise Flooring did a wonderful job refinishing our hardwoods. Our house was built in 1935 and the floors were very worn, with large parts of the wood gray where the finish had completely worn off. Marty Miller, owner of NYB, and his crew of 2 were punctual, professional and friendly. They refinished our dining room, 2 hallways and 3 bedrooms. The process took 4 days during which they sanded, applied 3 coats of polyurethane and buffed between coats. The areas in the front hallway that were gray look brand new! We are thrilled with the results!!! In addition to refinishing the floors, we asked Marty if he could install baseboard in the kitchen. For an additional $250 he removed the peeling plastic baseboard from the '80s and installed a beautiful new 5 inch baseboard that looks like it has always been there. He was somehow able to mix stain to match the dark brown stain of our kitchen cabinets! The results are beautiful and look original. We are very happy with the work Marty did and have already recommended him to friends and family.

Marty Miller and his crew Howard and Chad were really great! They arrived day 1 and in no time had the fireplace covered with plastic, along with the heat vents and the doorway to the kitchen. They quickly removed and disposed of the old carpeting from my living room and dining room and by the end of the day they had sanded and applied the first coat of semi-gloss finish. There were two old pet stains, one in each room. They did an amazing job of sanding them out. They couldn't remove them completely, but they did one h*** of a job to make them less noticeable. As stated in the Proposal, everything was completed in three days and was virtually “dustless”. They were always on time and friendly and answered any questions that I had. They also let me take “before and after” pictures of the rooms while they were working. What an amazing job they did on my old hardwood floors. The house was built in 1964 and that was the first and last time the floors were done. Marty had mentioned when he did the Proposal that people take advantage of their rooms being empty to give them a new coat of paint…..I took Marty’s advice and painted both rooms and I am so glad I did. I also have to mention just how congenial these guys are and not lacking a sense of humor….I have two cats….a black one that until lately has always been an indoor cat…..and a tortoise colored cat that was a stray that we adopted 2 years ago and is basically an outdoor cat. The black indoor cat apparently caught her very first field mouse and brought it into the house while the guys were working. I think they said she was headed for the bedroom. Lucky for me that they saw her. They couldn’t get her to drop the mouse, but they did manage to shoo her outside. In the meantime, the other cat is spending time in their utility trailer checking everything out. They took all of this in good humor and made sure the cat wasn’t in the trailer when they closed it up. I am so proud of my floors now and I have friends and family paying me compliments on how beautiful they look. I even had some who have taken pictures because they look so amazing. I did however, go shopping and bought all different types of felt protectors for the legs of my furniture just to make sure nothing will ever mar the finish. No more wall to wall carpeting for me EVER! I wholeheartedly recommend Marty and his crew. They even told me a simple way to clean the floors if needed....aside from just dusting. If I ever decide to do my two bedrooms, NYB Enterprises (Marty Miller) will be the one I will call.

The finished job is beautiful ! They were true professionals. They said they would start at 8AM, my door bell rang at 7:55AM, they were careful of my furniture, they worked fast and did a terrific job....... WHAT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

Fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Miller and his team to anyone. They were fast, professional and the floors look great. I have no complaints. Prior to starting work, Mr. Miller measured the floors and provided an estimate. He also gave me advice on what kind of new hardwood flooring to buy. His team arrived a couple of days later and spent five days sanding the floors and applying three coats of polyurethane (and stain, where needed) to my beaten-up wood floors. Prior to his work, the floors in the house were one of my biggest concerns - I had cracks, ugly carpets, some soft spots where the wood had been replaced poorly in the past. I just recently bought this 100+ year-old house and the floors almost scared me away from this purchase. Now the floors are the house's greatest asset.

I was contacted by NYB Enterprises Hardwood Floors (Owner: Martin Miller) after submitting a request for a flooring estimate through Lumber Liquidators (Note: NYB Enterprises is preferred installer for Lumber Liquidators). Marty arrived for the flooring estimate on time and was very professional. He was full of ideas and suggestions which were asked for. Following the cost estimate, we decided to simply refinish our hardwood floors. Prior to performing the work, I requested some references and a copy of NYB Enterprises insurance certificate be mailed to me directly from the insurance company. I received the information requested within a few days. Once the project began, Marty was on-site every day and on time. He and his crew worked diligently for four days to complete the job on-time and within budget. At the end of each day I received a phone call from Marty updating me on the progress of the project. I was very pleased with the quality of work and would refer Marty and his crew to anyone!
