M D EWALD HEATING & AIR COND

One evening when my husband was out of town, I contacted M.D. Ewald and described an unusual noise coming from the furnace. I was told to hang up immediately and contact my utility provider. The worker who arrived soon after suggested that I rely on Ewald in the future as it was apparent that my safety was of greater importance to the company than charging me for a service call. That happened over 30 years ago. I have relied on M.D.Ewald ever since. We recently had a new furnace and air conditioner installed by Ewald after the AC stopped functioning. Without charging us for the service, the company first provided additional freon to get us through a heat wave. When the workers arrived for the installation, they worked efficiently and neatly, and once the job was complete, they explained exactly what had been done. I was impressed. Equally impressive is the fact that before leaving and without being asked, they repaired a screen door which had been damaged in a wind storm!

Pete and his assistant were punctual, informative, professional and very helpful. He explained what he needed to do, what equipment would be best for my home, and the best way to install it. He helped set up the paperwork for the rebate through National Grid,also. Although, other companies were offering better deals for the furnace/cac combo, I chose Pete's company based on recommendations from family members. He is a small company, so I understood the inability to absorb the costs the other companies could and the customer service I received and expect to receive were worth it to me.

Provider arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem. Explained what needed to be done (replace the furnace as the heat exchanger was rotted out, making it dangerous) and performed the installation that night.

I like the people who work there, its a small company, they do good work and I trust them.
