+ -1 moreTerrible! Koch construction had done work in previous years on the roof of my 80 year old mother's house. She liked the job they did on her roof so she hired them when she decided to update her kitchen and bathroom. What a mistake! They took advantage of her and charged her more than twice what she should have paid, and most of the work that was done was completed improperly. She was threatened when she held back the final payment of @$500 on a total bill of over $20,000 because she was waiting for them to come back to make corrections to the work. Examples of some of the problems with the work: Contractor used wrong color grout on kitchen tiles, the color of the floor molding that was used does not match the existing woodwork at all. He used a cabinet to cover the vent for the exhaust fan in the kitchen, the wood and color do not match existing cabinets. The tiles in the bathroom have uneven grout and are not level. Damage was done to adjoining room when they cut thru wall to install medicine cabinent. A wall sconce and piece of art were damaged by workers. Paint was damaged when towel bar and toilet tissue holder were installed and they did not touch up the spots they damaged.
Description of Work: Replace kitchen countertops with granite ,install tile backsplash, replace kitchen flooring, install new kitchen vent, complete remodel of bathroom- tub,toilet, sink,fan, tub enclosure and floor.

Description of Work: Koch came to our house and gave a verbal estimate for work needed. Told them we needed work to be done within 6 weeks. He said no problem. Said he would send a firm quote. Never received. Called twice since and was told quote was coming and that they can still do the work in time. Never heard back from them (now 4 months later). Strung us along and never followed through with promise. A simple "we're too busy' would have been the professional response. If this is how the initial contact went, I can only assume their work would be comparably late and non-responsive. I would never consider using them or recommending them to anyone.

+ -1 moreExcellent job with minimal damage to foundation plantings -- a difficult job in a two-story roof replacement. Not the lowest price quoted, but a great job from a trustworthy company.

Description of Work: Koch Construction put on a new roof last summer. It went very well. The |crew always shows up on time,cleans up after themselves, and performs |high quality work. We have previously used them for house remodeling |and repair work. The work is always done with perfection. We wouldn't use |anyone else.

+ -1 moreStill looks great several years later. New windows made a significant difference in my utilities bill. They are not anywhere near the cheapest game in town, but the work is of very good quality and they stand behind their work.
Description of Work: Washed my entire house (aluminum siding), hand painted my entire house twice, replaced all windows in the house, replaced the sliding door on my sun porch, replaced the front entry door and sidelights, installed new shutters, removed a balcony from the front of my house and re-sided the exterior of the entry with vinyl "brick". Replaced exterior lighting.
