 + -1 moreHe quoted me an outrageous price to replace the spring. The price was almost as much as I spent for the clock. I took it to another company and they only charged me $40. The shop was in a total state of disrepair.
Description of Work: I purchased a clock from him about 15 years ago. A spring broke and it needed to be replaced.

 + -1 moreThe clock was there for several months and I had to call him to get it back. After about 5 monthe, the clock broke again and I called to try to get him to fix it but he never returned my calls.
Description of Work: Supposedly, he fixed a clock but it broke down again less than a year later. I attempted to contact him to take it back but he did not return my calls.

 + -1 moreThe guy is great. He is an interesting character. He does very good work at a very reasonable price. I have two antique clocks that I would take back in a heartbeat. He is sort of a typical old style clockmaker. He has bits and pieces of clocks in his shop and it is like stepping back 100 years in his shop. He did the work in about the time frame that he was supposed to. He is a nut.
