They were absolutely wonderful. They were professional. They did over and above of what we expected them to do. They worked well with us and they were respectful. The indoor window and door crew cleaned up a little better than the exterior crew. It's not that the exterior crew didn't clean up, it just was not as we would never have known that they were there on the inside but that was not the case with the outside. We only checked price with one other company. It was a wonderful experience.

I've used them several times. It was excellent. They come when they say they are going to come and their prices and work are good. A couple of times I needed them to come back to fix something and they came back immediately and there was no charge. I would definitely use them again.

I really liked them. They were fast. They were here for about three days. They cleaned up everyday. I had contractors coming in to do estimates on the work and they were substantially lower in pricing. Three years later, I have no problems with the windows. They all work great. everything went really well with them.

I called and made an appointment for an estimate on 2/1. A few days before they called and needed to reschedule for the next week, which was absolutely fine. Tom came out on 2/9, right on time, professional, punctual, and friendly, and tried hard to talk me into attic insulation, but I was determined to do the exterior walls only. My heat bills really aren't bad, but I have cold spots near the exterior walls. He took 30% down, and assured me they'd call me in a few days to schedule the pre-tests, and that since it was the slow season, the work wouldn't take long at all. Sure enough, on 2/13 a woman calls to schedule the pre-tests. The conversation went something like: Um, we're really busy because of blah and blah....how's March 8? Me - well, that's quite a ways out, when could I expect the actual work to be done? Her - oh, I have no idea, that's not my department. (followed by a moment of silence where I was allowing her the opportunty to offer anything...) Me - Ok, well, March 8 is fine, you can refund my 30% down and when you can find time in your busy schedule to do the work, I'll give it back. Her - How's tomorrow? Me - Tomorrow will be fine. The gentleman who came out to do the tests was punctual, professional, friendly, and no complaints at all. He told me there were no issues, and Mark (I think) would call me in a couple of days to schedule the job. A week later and no call. So I called and left a voice mail for I think Trisha asking if they would call me to schedule the work, or if they preferred to refund my 30% down. She called me back with a bit of an attitude and full of excuses about how busy they are. (after all it is february?) She scheduled the work for 3/8. The guys who came to do the work were again, punctual, professional, friendly, and did a great job. Will I use them again? Probably. My windows need to be replaced, and I'll be calling them for an estimate. But I will refuse to give a downpayment until the work is scheduled. I in no way expect that the work needs to be done immediately, but I do think it's reasonable to expect that when I've paid for a third of the work, I should at least be on the schedule. I shouldn't have to beg to be put on it.

The crew arrived on time the day installation was scheduled. They were very efficient and had the old windows out and the new ones installed and prepped for the trim( which was to be done when the siding was installed also by Comfort Windows) by the end of the day. The second day, they installed the 8' slider which required some jacking and replacing a rotting header(which was discovered when the Comfort Window crew that was doing our 3 season room removed the old deck above the sliding glass door). Each day, they took the old windows and debris with them. All in all, they did an excellent job considering the challenges they ran into. Their windows are very well made. We would not hesitate to recommend Comfort Windows to anyone.

As stated, above, we did not use them for our windows. We have used them in the past however (for a french patio slider) and were very happy with both the price and quality of service on that producy. If money is no object, then I would recommend Comfort!

Excellent quality materials and excellent installation job and professionals. Friends had recommened this company and I was very happy with the whole process from estimate to install. They took care of everything, worked within my schedule, and knew what they were doing. I wanted to deal with a company that was reputable, and insured, and provided quality products. The trimwork is fantastic. And they answered all my detailed questions. The other thing that impressed me is they installed them in less than 3 days, a whole house of windows, and the removal of the old debris just disappeared, no mess. As for downsides? None yet. They remedied the one issue I encountered (a small dent in a screen when it arrived) by replacing the complete screen. I have 2 more doors to replace and I will be calling them.

Prompt and courteous, decided to go with another company.

Salesman was professional and provided accurate proposal. HQ Sales/Showroom was also visited and provided a very good overview of product quality and various options. Once the Contract was signed and down payment paid a factory expert appointment was set to custom measure each window and re confirm the salesman's description and measurements. He was extremely helpful answering some of my technical questions. Also noted he was along term Comfort employee. After that the main office called me to schedule the installation in August. The installation team arrived with a 2 man crew. One glitch did occur in that the individual setting up the order to the Factory incorrectly entered 7 when 8 windows were in the contract. The main office promptly acknowledged the error and rushed through the factory the final window then worked with me to schedule the installation at my convenience. The final crew came out last Friday and completed the installation including a final inspection of all the windows and a few touch up items. Each crew was professional and showed the same level of training and attention to detail. One important point: Comfort uses no Sub Contractors. That is very important as it relates to overall quality from A to Z. That means that all Comfort employees are accountable; no middle man, no passing of the buck. That ownership showed through with the factory order glitch and the consistency of quality between the installation crews. You will pay a little bit more, but it is well worth the total quality of the product. Overall Excellent job and will be using Comfort to install the next batch of windows next year.

Empress Red wrapped prairie-style windows are stunning on my 1929 tudor. First, Edd is an amazing sales representative. You cannot find a more honest, caring and experienced fellow. Two years ago he provided an estimate based on measurements and my concerns about everything being vinyl. At first I was concerned because I thought I needed wood inside. After visiting with others about high-end homes using Custom Windows, I reconsidered and am thrilled to have a lovely, blended look inside...as the off-white I chose blends rather than distractsfrom my decor. The most professional installers were specially selected for this project, as the final measurer told me he knew which team would be most qualified to work on this older home. I so appreciated that. The fellows kept me posted and were patient at every turn. It would have been a 2-day job, however, they discovered some pretty lousy rotting in the 1929 frames. (I had made sure they wrote in a clause that would not charge me extra for some of those possible challenges.) They did a terrific job. One window's hardware needed tweaking, so when I called letting them know that the hazardous weather might be a challenge with the window that needed tweaking, they came over the same day to adjust it. Now I have a reasonable amount of dollars left in the 60-month, 0% interest loan that I am moving ahead with my second floor within the next week. Yes, it will take a little time for this custom order, yet I am so pleased and so complimented by my neighbors in this wonderful area, that I will choose Edd and Custom Windows for any future projects. What a great experience. I am proud to have their sign in my yard, as I likely might have spent twice as much with another company with little difference in quality. (Yes, I like one of my Anderson windows that I had installed two years ago in another part of my home, yet now I have to spend $$ to replace a window with a stress crack.. The window is guaranteed, but not the labor...probably another $200+ I will have to spend.) Comfort Windows guarantees all of theirs, including screens! Thank goodness! I stand behind this wonderful experience without reservation.

The window received was exactly per the specification agreed upon at the point of sale. I was very happy with the window. The installation went very smoothly. The installers arrived on time. And the installers from Comfort Windows were very professional and very kind. They provided me with all the information I asked on. The condition of the kitchen , as well as, the outdoor area under the window was left in the same condition, it was prior to the installation. They wore covers over their shoes prior to entering my house. And they covered the work area in and outside. At the completion of the installation, they showed me how to open and close the window, for cleaning it. It was a wonderful experience. I would hire Comfort Windows again and recommend them to everyone, who is in need of a new window or windows.

The two installers did a great job; acted and performed in a professional manner. Cleaned up after the work was completed.

Everything went excellently with Comfort Windows. They are local and prompt. They have good prices and they did an excellent job.

I was not happy with it, not so much what they did per se, but what they quoted me and what they were willing to back for not wanting the same. They had earlier replaced all the windows and some doors in my house, and they had done an excellent job. I had them do two different jobs, and I had a great experience with one, which was obviously the more expensive, and then I had just a repair job that I wasn’t happy with. I am taking the $5000 job into weight more heavily for grading them than the $500 repair job. Everything was excellent with the windows and doors they did, but I was not satisfied with the repair at all. I had issues with what I was quoted versus what they did on the repairs. Then again, I think it was because of the salesperson, and the salesperson was gone between the time that I signed the contract and they did the job. So, it just could be because of one person, but I didn’t feel like they lived up to what the salesperson quoted me.

As of now everything has been straightened out, I guess no one was there during the off season and so communication was lacking.

The actual insulation of the crawl space in no way improved the cold issue I had in my kitchen. The entire experience was fraught with misunderstanding, and poor communication. I would never consider using them for any kind of work in the future.

They install it four years ago. they are always good. Availability, you do have to wait to get them to come out. I have a warranty on this but they are expensive. They are pretty expensive but you pay for what you get. Once you get an appointment they come great. Getting an appointment is tough. You might have to wait weeks. They are very professional. I will use them again.

We had all of the windows, garage door, and sliding glass door replaced. The crew was knowledgeable in their jobs and very efficient in doing the work. We actually interacted with three different crews during this work, one main crew to do the windows, one for the garage door and their electrician who had to move a wire to enlarge a window opening. We were very pleased with all of the workers and the tasks they performed. It has been two years since this service was done and we are very satisfied with our new windows and doors.

I would recommend them. They were a little but more pricey, but it was worth it. Out of all the companies we dealt with, they seemed to have the best product.

After the estimation, we decided to have three windows replaced first in order to see how the process proceeded. The windows arrived at their site when promised and the company called to make arrangements for delivery and worked around our schedule. The day of the work, they arrived on time and were very professional, efficient and knowledgable. After completing the work in receord time and with minimal disruption, the crew actually vaccumed and cleaned our rooms as part of the installation. The final product works very well and the craftmanship is first rate. There were no surprises and the final bill was as promised. We will definitely use them again.
