CNY Drywall

Mike did great work repairing the holes in my ceiling and correcting the patch work that I originally done. Then he sand painted the ceiling and everything looks as good as new! I originally done some work on it, but it wasn't turning out correctly. He gave me a few tips on how to do it next time. He came the same day I contacted him to take a look and he finished the whole project in 2 days. I definitely recommend.

He used the WRONG paint and the paint started to peel off the walls. I hired a new contract company to complete some work in my home and they charged me extra to correct the issue caused by Mr. Dlugozima. I contacted Mr. Dlugozima about the issue and he said he was going to correct it right away. He has been UNRESPONSIVE and UNPROFESSIONAL. He will not return any calls or any emails. I am now having to spend an additional 1,300.00 to correct the problem and 2,500.00 for the house to be repainted. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy ever they deserve better service than what Mr. Dlugozima provided.

Mike gave us a same-day estimate and did the work the next day. He was extremely friendly, courteous, and did a great job with the patch. We would definitely use him again.

Mike was very prompt and friendly ,job was suppose to take 2 days but he finished it in one as a courtesy to us,did an excellent job ,he explained everything he planned to do and pricing was very fair ,hiring him back to do repairs on large dining room ceiling and sand paint that as well would highly recommend his services

Mike demonstrated honesty and integrity throughout the project. I was nervous to schedule unsupervised work in my home, but I found Mike to be entirely trustworthy. His quote was competitive, and he was flexible to negotiate. Throughout the project, he kept his scheduled appointments, answered phone calls or returned them promptly, and did what he said he would do. Mine was the only project he worked on until it was done, within a couple days of the original schedule. Mike left the work site picked up and free of trash every day. I rate the quality of work an A: not because of absolute perfection, but because Mike has been responsive to any corrections I have requested. Mike returned after I primed the finished walls, as planned, to patch and sand out the imperfections. When I asked him to come back a second time, to smooth out a seam, he showed up the next morning, ready to work - long after the job was done, and he had already been paid in full. Mike is a friendly and personable hard worker. I would absolutely hire him again.

We recently hired Mike to refinish and sand our walls and do some drywall work. Our intention was to have Mike get our walls ready and we would do the painting. Refer to a previous review about what a great job he did with our walls. But now came the painting. My wife and I had many questions about painting and using the right equipment. We went and brought home a few samples and chose a color we liked. But when it came time to paint, my wife wasn't happy with the shade of paint that we just spent $160 on. So she called Mike to ask him if he had any suggestions on how to lighten the shade. Instead of walking her through it over the phone, Mike decided the best result would be for him to come over and do it himself,UNASKED!! He was at the house within an hour,mixing the paint,and trying the different shades with adding white. So we decided to ask him how much he would charge us to paint the living area, because frankly, we are new homeowners,this was going to be our first indoor painting job, as a raised ranch some of the walls were close to 15 ft high, I was a bit intimidated. Mike quoted us $250,which to us was well worth it. We asked him when he could start. He had all his equipment with him, and he was happy to start immediately. This was the wed afternoon before Christmas, he spent all afternoon on it, then came back Saturday(THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS!!) and finished up. I can't say enough good things about this guy!!

We recently moved into our house in the spring. Needed a lot of work on the inside. We wanted to paint the interior ourselves, but the walls and ceiling were in terrible shape. Cracks in the ceiling, walls had layers of paint and wallpaper on them,and some creases and holes. Two of the bedrooms even had ceiling paint used on the walls, the texture was awful. We wanted to paint but just painting over the walls wouldn't do the trick, they needed to be prepped first, and I didn't have the first clue what to do. So we went to Angies List. Mike was immediately in contact and came out the next day for the estimate. We also had a couple other estimates done,and Mike had the best solutions for what we wanted to do, and BY FAR the best price. So we hired him the week of Thanksgiving, and he went right to work after the holiday. He worked in our house for 4 days, explained everything he was doing while he did it, always showed up when he said he would. And my wife stays at home and she felt very comfortable with Mike in our house each day. He was very professional, polite, and cleaned up after everything. Also very flexible, he hardly required any furniture to be moved and didn't make it hard to live in our house while he was doing the work. The walls are smooth as butter, all the cracks in the ceiling are gone, the drywall repairs he did are excellent. He even finished some floor trimwork that wasn't quoted and at no charge. Very nice and engaging guy! We'll use him again and I highly recommend Mikes services.

We had a basement flood (finished basement!) and lost carpets, walls, etc etc. Mike responded to our request for a quote visit in less than an hour and was here the next day! He was able to accommodate our aggressive timeline for rebuilds/repairs and met every commitment on timing. He finished the main work in the time he estimated....then returned right away after our carpet install to finish up. He accomplishes a lot of work in short windows of time! Great drywall work! Extremely reasonable pricing. And he is a nice, good hearted guy as an added bonus! We very much appreciate his help in our basement recovery project!!

Mike knows what he is doing!!! Punctual, communicates, explains the process; job looks great! No fuss and bother, just an honest, nice-guy professional; ask your questions, you will get an honest answer. We have additional work that needs doing; Mike has already been re-hired !!

It took awhile for Mike to come to our home to do the job, He was inundated with previous work. He did however, keep in contact with us and keep us apprised of his situation. He was apologetic . When he did schedule our appt. he was prompt and efficient. He tidied up after he completed the work. Our daughter is eager to have him do work on her kitchen and family room.

Job was done to my satisfaction in the estimated time. Mike vacuumed the area after he finished. I am happy with the result and would recommend him. Nice guy, too.

I have a 100 yr old home with plaster walls & ceilings. Before I could have the house painted, all the ceiling & wall cracks had to be repaired. I found CNY Drywall on angieslist. I spoke with Mike to set up a day & time to price the job. He went through the whole house, quoted me a price & put me on the schedule. Mike did an excellent job. The painter was very pleased with the condition of the ceiling & walls after Mike's work. It looks great -- thanks Mike!

We will be scheduling the dry wall repair, haven't begun the work.

Excellent! He was on time, helpful in moving furniture around to get the drywall inside the house. He even too the time to help me with a smaller project that I had been struggling with at no extra charge! (What took him 5 minutes would have taken me a half of the day!!!). He was super nice and efficient about getting his work completed. I would re-hire him in a minute!

It was a very good experience. I had to call Mike a few times at the beginning to get information from him because he said he lost my email but once we got the project started, it went exactly as he had promised. He did the work he promised in the time that he said. Here is the best part. He told me that if I find anything about the drywall areas that he worked on unsatisfactory when I am painting them, to let him know and he would come back to fix it up. Great idea to warranty his own work.

We talked to Mike and asked him to come over to give us an estimate on doing some drywall in our office and putting down some flooring in our bathrooms. He said he would give us a call and stop by the next day since he was doing a job down the street. My husband took a vacation day off from work and waited all day for a phone call or to see him. Nothing!! He didn't show or even call us! We would not mind if he could not make it. All he needed to do is give us a call and tell us he could not come!! We called him because of the good reviews he had...we are very disappointed and I am sure we can find someone more reliable.

Mike was so great! His work is impeccable. I have used him in the past, and had a wonderful experience, so I knew calling him in to finish my job was an awesome idea. I called him in a bit of a jam, early on a Saturday morning, and he was right over in less than an hour to look it over and price me out. Thankfully, he decided to make time in his weekend to work on my job, working on both Saturday and Sunday to finish my job in my short time frame. He did such a beautiful job - I have never seen work as good as his! Not only does he do a great job, he keeps everything clean and protected, and has all the tools and materials you could need. Not to mention, he is such a pleasure to be around! He is happy and friendly the entire time, and is always professional. I will always call him for my drywall and other needs in the future - he is simply the best! It's always a home run with Mike!

Mike was great. Communication from the start was fantastic, unlike every other company I attempted to contact. Work was done very fast, price was very fair and the quality is 1st class. The priginal quote was given amd approved. During the repairs, less work was found to be needed than originally anticipated. He informed me and dropped the price. I will ise him again and highly recommmend him.

Mike was a bit hard to get a hold of but because of all the great referrals I wanted him to do the work, so I persisted, and got a commitment date, and he was there on both days and he did an awesome/beautiful job. He left the place immaculate. A great job at a great price. Thank you Mike!!!

I am extremely satisfied with the quality of his work. I am no longer ashamed of my garage, and now instead I am proud to show it off! Mike completed the job in the time he said it would take, and I felt comfortable explaining what I wanted and pointing out the little details so the job would be done as I liked it. He did a great job!

Mike was great! He is truly skilled at his trade. He taped, mudded, and sanded our large family room with cathedral ceiling. Great job Mike!
