Bill was a nice man and did some good work at our house. But with some siding renovations coming up, we weren't sure what else we would need done, and Bill told us to call him back after the work was done to let him know what else we needed. When I called, Bill was out-of-town, so I talked to his son, Jimmy, who has taken over the business, as Bill has retired. During our renovations, the large and very well known siding company offered to install a light on the wires Bill had already repaired and set up (capped off.) Bill had remarked that they could probably just install the light at that location. They also removed and reinstalled a motion-detector light. But they were having trouble with a third, more complicated light, and suggested I contact the electrician. I called Bill's Electric back. I talked to Jimmy, and learned that his father was out-of-town, so I told Jimmy about the situation. He said he was swamped with work, but that he would call me back in a couple days - I never heard back. I called him back and left a message, and he ignored me for several more weeks. I finally got through to him, and he told me to have the siding company come back and fix "what they screwed up." I told him I didn't know if they screwed anything up or not, and that I'd prefer an electrician to look at it. He told me it was a slap in the face to them that the siding company did some of the work for me. Again, they offered, and they didn't charge me for it - it was basically two simple lights that they installed onto existing wires. Bill is a very polite man and competent electrician. It's too bad some of his courtesy didn't extend to his son. Jimmy obviously didn't get that his father had already done some work for us, and that his father had told us the siding company would be able to put the light up in the back... Bill was aware of what we were having done and that we would call him with anything else we needed. Jimmy is nothing short of arrogant and rude. Hopefully his electrician skills are better than his manners.

They showed up on time with everything they needed. Got right down to work. Worked till job was finished and left. easy to deal with

He changed the fused box to a circuit breaker box. He is a very nice human being and his price is very fair.

He was able to fix it quickly!

Work was completed over 2 evenings. All work was completed in a professional manner. In addition, when his helper was in the attic cutting the hole for the bath exhaust fan, he discovered that the vent hose for the other bathroom exhaust fan had come disconnected. He reconnected the hose for me at no additional charge. This is the type of thing that not all contractors may have mentioned, let alone repaired at no additional charge. This situation could have easily developed into a future mold problem. Kudos to his helper for letting me know about the needed repair.

After O'Toole's didn't show up or call the day previous, I called Bill's Electric this morning at around 9:00am. The gentleman, James Van D***, said that he was on his way to a job and will call me a little after 12pm. At around 2:00pm, he said he was on his way and will be there in 45 minutes to an hour. He arrived at 2:45. The problem was an issue with the wiring in the basement, so he fixed it. By 3:00pm, he was done. He charged a reasonable $70.00 for the service call and that was it. My only issue was that they only take cash or checks, no credit cards. Other than that, it was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely hire Bill's Electric again for any electric problems.

Very friendly from start to finish. Gave an estimate the same day I called. He showed the day he promised at the time he said. Had the work finished in several hours, and everything was left in neat condition. I would recommend him to anyone. Professional job and courteous...what more can you ask for!

Mr. Van D*** came over to the home during the week and gave me an estimate on the spot and was able to schedule within three day. He showed up on time and completed the work in short order. At the end of the day I was completely satisfied as to the quality of his work and professionalism. I would highly recommend Bill's Electric.
