T Riccoboni Asphalt Paving

Took his time grading the stones underneath. I had cobblestone done by someone else and installed 3 new french drains. Then Tim installed the black asphalt. Tim and his crew did a great job. They were more expensive then other asphalt guys. I am very happy with the job they did!

I thought it was a touch expensive, but I have to say it went very well. He and his crew were quick and efficient, and the result looks terrific. The owner was there throughout, making sure everything was done correctly. He advised us on drainage issues, and worked with us on a gate that he needed to work under and around. All in all, it was worth the investment and we are very happy with the outcome.

We needed to have our driveway, sidewalk, and two concrete aprons (at the sidewalk and in front of our garage) replaced. I got quotes from 4 top rated contractors. Not being a contractor myself, it was very difficult to accurately compare proposals. Ultimately Tim exuded trust and competence. He suggested Jose Pereira to do the concrete work. My wife and I could not be happier with the results. As soon as the concrete had fixed enough, Tim was available to lay down the Asphalt. He and his very nice crew arrived at 8AM, removed the old asphalt, leveled and compacted the driveway with extreme care, including repeated measuring of the distance of the driveway base to the top of the Belgium blocks. They then laid down the concrete. I was not home when the asphalt was being laid, so cannot attest to the process. The whole process took about 4-5 hours. Tim delivered on everything he promised! My wife and I are very proud of our new driveway!!!

We very extremely pleased with the finished product. He was always on the job, started promptly at 7:30 am and put in an honest, full days worth of work. He was very pleasant and personable. We are beyond thrilled with the outcome. our driveway looks amazing.

The work was scheduled to be done in late April, and be completed in one day. After excavating the existing driveway and seeing that ground conditions weren't good (that being the effects of sponginess from moist clay content in dirt) it was decided to wait about a month to complete the job. On June 4th Tim came and completed the job, Tim oversees all the work which is done in a methodical, paced and professional manner, covering all the details. Choosing Tim to do the job removed all the concerns that can be part of working with a contractor for the first time. I found Him to be a person of integrity and a gentleman.

He has been excellent. He keeps his word, is responsive, and follows up.

I called Tim for an estimate in March of 2014. He came promptly and gave me a competitive estimate. Of all the estimates I received, Tim was the only owner to come and price out the job. The other estimates were provided by salespeople. I gave Tim the go ahead in May and he came shorlty after in June. He broke up and leveled driveway in one day. Tim showed me how to test driveway to see if there was still water below surface, which would affect paving. It took several weeks to dry out. Tim came back in early July and paved driveway in one day. After the tough winter, it still looks as good as the day he did it. Tim is a very personable guy who is easy to deal with. More importantly he did a great job. He even recommended a mason, who likewise did a great job on my front porch and side steps. It was a pleasure doing business with him

Tim replaced the driveway asphalt using premium asphalt and paid special attention to details like the driveway curb and garage door closure.

Tim was a complete professional from the first telephone call to the completion of the job. Notified me the day before he was coming to remove the old driveway and he was there the first thing in the morning. Dependable and on time throughout the entire job. I left him a message on Angies List and I heard from him that day. He said he would be by the next day for an estimate and he was there just as he promised. He surveyed the entire driveway and I showed him all of our problem areas. Such as, being plagued with huge puddles during rain storms and the driveways shape caused issues when trying to park in garage. We set a date to start work and as he promised he was there with his crew right on time. His crew was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He was always there on the job supervising as well as doing the work. I have a very large driveway and we can easily park 10 cars on it. The entire job was completed in 2 days!!!! I was shocked. I have watched many neighbors get new driveways and it seems like it goes on forever. Working with him was a real pleasure and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone I can. Tim and his team were great! Extremely professional, on time, and full clean up. I paid a little more, but well worth it, compared to the businesses that send out 10 crew at a time. The owner is on site and driving the heavy equipment needed.

I had an old single car concrete driveway connected to a circular asphalt driveway that I wanted removed and a new driveway installed. After finding Riccoboni Asphalt Paving on Angie's List and reading some of the favorable reviews, I called and asked them to come out for an estimate. Tim, the owner, came out when he said he would and we went over the job. He seemed to be more knowledgable and thorough than other companies I had out for estimates. Tim is a very soft-spoken but personable guy and, although he said he would be more expensive than other companies, was right in line with other companies on the price. After giving the go-ahead for the job, Tim came with his crew of three and started promptly at 8 am. One thing I really liked was this: not only was Tim there for the entire job, but he actually did a lot of the work himself, so I knew it was going to be done properly. Tim has been in this business for a while and it shows. He drives the Bobcat himself and uses it expertly. The old driveway was torn up, new topsoil was laid down and graded perfectly and the new crushed stone base was laid all in one day. After some masonry work, Tim came back to lay the asphalt. Again, Tim was there doing the work and supervising his crew (who are very good and needed little direction). The asphalt was laid and rolled out perfectly, no humps and no dips. All in all, my experience with Tim and his company was top-notch. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Any concerns or questions I had were answered and handled without making me feel like I was inconveniencing Tim. He uses only the best products and techniques, and it shows in his work. I have received nothing but compliments from my neighbors and passers-by. I would gladly recommend Tim to anyone who is having driveway work done.
